Mutator. Just set one up, it’s super fun for old man scratch grinds in the skatepark and slappys. Didn’t think I would ride it much but I spent the whole session on it instead of my Paul’s egg.
Damn, I'm trying to get to the your level on the eggzilla on my regular board haha. That thing looks so fun. I really like all your videos at that park too. Looks like a blast
I been always against wide boards until i saw the eggzilla boards. Daaamn that 360 flip looks soooo cool on with the egg board!!! I might get one later and try out as well!
@@LeonPaxton I just put a first impressions video out on my channel of the Grimple Stix egg if you want to see some footage of it! I’m definitely not as experienced as you are, but I did my best to show off the board and it’s capabilities😁🙌
You can use Tracker Dart 219's and Powell Mini Cubics together to get your trucks 12.5" wide for this kind of board. If you can get your hands on some bowl wheels from the early 70's, or pour your own, you can probably get it to like 13.5".
Wow the cost of the trucks and bearings is way up there. I get it, it all jad to trabel around the world but wow. You are popping it with style. Super impressive. Boardslide on the crooked wall was sick. Absolutely Rad
I just ordered the El Heuvo 9.4 board can’t wait till it comes in. In the last month I’ve jumped from a 8.2 to 8.38 to 9.0 anti hero, now to these el huevo board soon
I use 2 bottom bones for the 215's n they work. I was gonna get the Eggzilla 2 but don't like that you can't get trucks that fit properly, so I went with the anatomy of a wide boy deck. It's 10" over the trucks and the perfect size for 215's. I've got the original wide boy as well but the anatomy deck feels way better. It's weird how .35 of an inch and WHEEL WELLS can change the feel of a board.
Oh true, I didn’t think of that! Hell yeah, I want to get that board too when I get some money back up lol Yeah skateboarding is crazy like that hey! Good to know that board is good, I’ll be adding that to my cart soon lol
In case you havent spent enough xD Mark Gonzales have a long ass 36inch Krooked board he designes himself. I finished my 1991 board setup, but im having a hard time finding 60mm 95-99D wheels here, so for now ive been cruising around on some 56mm and redrilled the wb to 14inch as it was back in the day with indy 4s. Oh dude, the amount of wheel bite you get on this thing is actually insane 😂 Actually the first few times I went to push I kept kicking the side of the board too because of how wide the damn thing is lol Yeah stepping back on my 9.1" after this actually felt horrible too!
I'm curious how the wide trucks would feel on a regular skateboard, where the wheels actually stick out the side. If you're ever short on content ideas maybe try that.
They would make a smaller board feel super stable since the base of support will be wider than the board itself but it will be a lot harder to flip and you'd get heaps of wheel bite with you feet lol
I am primarily a flatground flip trick guy. I can do most all my flip tricks on my EggZilla 2. Still can't really pull varial heelflips, but Tre Flips aren't bad. They're easiest fakie.
