The MOST RIDICULOUS Skateboard Setup!

  • In this video I'm back on the Eggzill 2 deck BUT with some 39mm Boardy Cakes wheels instead of the 54mm Spitfire Radials I originally had on this beast!
    My theory is that setting up these smaller wheels will lighten this setup and have my board sit closer to the ground to help get a quicker pop when I ollie
    So let's see how it all works out...

    Such an over the top setup. My own maximum setup has been the 9” Orange Eagle Anti Hero with 8.75” (6.1) Venture V-Hollows and 52mm wheels. Which feels surprisingly snappy and light despite the Ventures and 15” wheel base combining for a super long wheel base. I’d like to try a smaller board again though and have gotten an 8” Real board with a 14.375” wheel base that I’m going to give a try on 8.25” (5.6) Venture V-Hollows. Should be interesting. I’d like to find an 8” board with a 14.5” or more wheel base though as I’m really comfy on that right now.

    Do not buy and put on bones ceramic bearings, for some reason.. the board becomes super light!! But even with ceramic bearings i notice a weight difference on heroin eggboards! But its worth it! How much does the rail weight? And how big is difference to skate with or without rails, if you going to flip the board? To be honest i feel the mainstream boardshapes feel boring and the fun ends faster. I belive eggboards are the future, always liked surfingboards, wakeboards and asked myself why we cant have better shaped boards. I feel all fliptricks and skating in general look sooo much better with eggboards, i cant even imagine going back to mainstream shape, after tryed one eggboard. I feel its defenetly fun to watch all those fliptricks in this video that you do! It looks sooo much cooler with eggboard indeed!!!!

    • @LeonPaxton
      @LeonPaxton  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wait isn't that a good thing then being lighter? I'm not sure what the deck rails weigh but there is definitely no difference at all that you can feel with or without them 👌🏼

    • @LeonPaxton
      @LeonPaxton  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah dude, they will be fine! You might just have to put them closer in towards the centre of your board so the wheels don’t hit when you pinch 👌🏽
