Or... and bear with me on this... we could just leave it be? I think we've seen pretty good evidence that making more movies is a bad idea. 2/3 of the Star Wars franchise basically fucks the whole thing up, so maybe we let that aspect of the story die?
In Star Wars Knights of the old republic, the first one, Canderous tells a story where he and his Mandalorian comrades once encountered a biological ship lurking near the edge of the galaxy in an astroid belt. The ship was disguised as an astroid, but once they shot it it seemed to melt and it revealed itself as a biological ship which hurtled away at incredible speeds out into the intergalactic void. It’s another cool story.
biological ship, that was yuuzohn vong coral skipper id bet. Theres also a death maul story, wheres hes in somesort of prison where hes forced to fight, and he faces a species hes never seen before or anyone else has even really, and he cant sense with the force at all, and it described the vongs living amphistaph weapon, maul managed to win by ramming his horns into its eyes and face and killing it, it was pretty intense. Theres a few more examples of what seem to be yuuzohn vong out there before they invaded. I do know the character Nom anor whose a vong character was revealed prior to Vector prime in 1999 in some story, so they may have planted more seeds.
I think having extra galactic threats really raises the stakes. The Yuuzhan Vong really felt different, at least from what I've read, as opposed to the Empire and Rebels 2.0 we have in the sequel trilogy. You could have freaking biotech using theocrats that are outside the Force, but noo, we've gotta stick to what people have already seen three movies and many, many, books and video games about. For Yun Yuuzhantar!
I'd rather they concentrate for now on filling in the thirty year gap between Episodes 6 and 7, recanonizing some of the more useful elements like the Maw and Centerpoint Station. That said, there's a lot of time to fill and a lot of dark corners of the universe where invaders could sneak in.
I know I'm gonna get alot of hate, but I don't really like them, they don't feel 'right' in star wars, I like the rakatan or even the sith species because they felt like they belonged in the Star Wars universe, while the Yuuzhan Vong look like they could be in a marvel movie.
Random note: I absolutely love the intros and especially the outros on these videos. They're just so satisfying and you can tell work was put into them.
Well I'm open the the return of the Vong. I don't want to see to extra-dimensional invaders. The SW universe is complicated enough without adding dimensions to it
TheT7770ify Yeah it would be cool if they made a episode 10 and a fleet of hundreds of Remnants of the first order gets destroyed by a small Yuuhzan Vong fleet would be a cool beggining of the movie
I think the Extr-Dimensional stuff would be the best it would not be the same Galactic threat we know so well these would be unknown much it would lead to a better story I think.
The Immortal Super Being In Canon there are still Far Outsiders maybe not the Yuuhzan Vong but they could use very different and could be very different
My big issue with the vong is the way they portrayed the force. They kinda gave the force a deity vibe. I've always preferred the force being a kinda like gravity.
Five Seven yeah but my problem with them is the whole thing about them kinda being kicked out of the force ( they can't use it) because they did bad stuff makes it as if the force is a being. And yes the Canon has people worshipping the force but they're are people in real life who worship the wind my problem is that the force shouldn't have sentience. Even when characters talk about the force balancing itself out I always saw that being like how water spreads itself out. But the idea of a extragalactic species is pretty cool and the whole organic tech thing was an awesome touch. I still like the vong just not the force thing. Oh and before I go I have always hated the dimension stuff it seems too comic book.(not too familiar with EU please correct me if I'm wrong)

Loved this on, thanks for the info. Odd part is, in my rpg at the moment, the GM has us fighting a "kill all organics" style invader who apparently comes from beyond the galaxy, a machine "race" that doesn't talk or make threats, just comes in and tries to flame whole planets in preparation to mining them and, we think, building more ships to pummel us with. Well that's an easy question, I specifically came to this video looking for your take on the Nagai because I loved those comics growing up. I think a refresher is needed. The Disney entries (movies etc.) needed to be erased from cannon and replaced the EU as the permanent cannon. Movies should only be based on the already written EU books, comics etc. Toho did something similar with the Heisei Godzilla era in the 1980s/1990s. Toho erased all the movies from the 1960s/1970s (many of which weren't that great after King Ghidorah: the three-headed Monster).

Hey there! Long time viewer, first time commentor. Extragalactic invasions have always hit the sweet spot in my non-canon imagination of the SW universe. And while they may be fun to see in comics, I've always thought about seeing what a true "Hell" apocalypse would be like. In Star Wars theology, "Hell" (or Chaos) was a place where sith souls were believed to dwell in torment. There isn't much backstory or depth to this subject as you'd expect, but a fleshed-out apocalyptic dimensional-invading group of demonic sith demons would be quite fascinating.
Lieutenant Nomad it's kind of a plot device to show the republic's transition to the empire and their changing design philosophy (quality>quantity ----> quantity>quality)
I always tried to defend Legends. And I think EU should have it's rightful place as true Canon But I think, extradementionalism takes weirdness of SW a bit to far. So no, I wouldn't like it to be Canon in any way (unfortunately (unfortunately IMO, ofc) extradementionalism is Canon through Han Solo comicbook series, where Han travelled to other demention inhabited by giant space jellyfish). I mean, without SW sign on it, it would be treated like sone low quality Sci-fi
You should do something from Star Wars vs. either the hydrouges or faeros from the saga of seven suns. I think you'll be surprised by how strong they are.
Wait, I remember Kamino being around the Rishi Maze, but where is it exactly? I thought it was relatively close to Geonosis and that area of the galaxy.
What is that picture of you keep on showing? The one with that centipede-like body and bony legs, with a cape? I've never seen it before in Star Wars, and I've researched a lot.
Extradimensional stuff is awesome and I'm always a big fan of that kinda stuff. On the other hand, I always think that extragalactic is just kinda... unecessary. Like, the galaxy is so large, you dont need to resort to other galaxies.
The Flood vs The Reaper (Mass Effect) I think instead of putting them in a war it would be more interesting to see who is more efficient in destroying a galaxy
+Sagrotan The Reapers were Billions spreading across the Universe plus they are very powerful destroying race after race including there creators a Tier 0 species The Leviathans.
Whilst the Reapers were billions of years old and there are ( at the highest estimate ) 250,000 Reapers both destroyers and Sovereign class. There numbers might help but because they effectively stagnated in tech development i don't think they'd stand much of a chance against the flood. On a personal note i prefer ME over Halo
The Immortal Super Being leviathans were not tier 0 in my opinion; tier 0 on the forerunner scale implies trans sentience, neural physics and the ability to accelerate and deform life. I would say the leviathans were tier 0.5, still highly advanced but not on the level of the precursors.
Hmmm... the force can be like Warhammer chaos in some ways. If you look at what kreya says about the force cause so much suffering to shape things. You could even think of one or more higher beings actually shifting the force, but not being the force it’s self.
The U.V. are so interesting, I can't spell it I think it's Uhjong Vong? SO cool I think it would be amazing to introduce them to the Canon movies because it could actually align the whole Star wars Galaxy together for a common cause. I don't know if it would be first order or who but it would be amazing
List; 15th try Edit: for all these matches they it would be cool if you had one round where the two dont know each other and one where they do to see how it will affect it Boba Vs Jango Shadow trooper Vs Clone commando Arc trooper Vs Mandalorian death watch Buck and ODST (Halo 3) Vs Delta squad Mandator 4 (in TLJ) Vs Bellator OR 3 ISD Standered US trooper Vs Standerded rebel trooper Hovertank ( in RO) Vs 1M1 abrams Arc trooper(Alpha) Vs Clone commandos At-At Vs At-m6 ( gorila walker) Anakin Vs Darth Vader Republic Vs Empire (Both in there prime) Death trooper Vs Arc trooper(Alpha) P.1000 ratte Vs At-M6 F-35 Vs Tie fighter Phantom 1 Vs Phantom 2 B-wing Vs Tie defender Rebel alliance Vs Resistance F-15E eagle Vs Tie inteceptor CIS supertank Vs Scarab(halo) Cis supertank Vs Clone turbotank (Jugernaught)
Artofwar 10 I think the Empire would beat the Republic if the Republic wouldn't use the same tactics as the rebellion cause the Empire had trillions of troops while the Republic had about 10 million clones and the Empire had about 25000 Star Destroyers while I guess that the Republic had atleast 1000 venators
Artofwar 10 Was At-m6 the walker of the first order? If so I do believe it is more powerful cause they learned from the Empire's mistakes and made their weapons so they didn't make the same mistakes
Mic Clank are you an idiot? The empire is in control of a galaxy, the ussr is in control of less than half a planet. The empire has hundreds of thousands of ships and trillions of soldier. A more reasonable choice would be ussr vs a star destroyer
Super Star Destroyer vs Ancient City Ship Atlantis(fully powered with 3 ZPM and a full compliment of drones). Figure we need to get some stargate up in this. And for fun... The combined naval fleets of all four EVE-Online empires vs the Imperial Navy.
I think it would be cool if not just having a story about going to another galaxy / dimension but also putting in a plot twist like the force is present in other galaxies... the celestial were present in other galaxies / dimensions and even better... at least one of the species in the Star Wars Galaxy came from another galaxy / dimension or were brought from one a long time ago... it's no surprise that it could be pulled off by races like the Rakkatans and the other guys who created the hyper-gates... I mean we've already got a species plot twist in the Zabraks and Twi'lek because they were created by the mother machine... maybe humans or another species came from somewhere else... maybe our own galaxy or better yet a story hinting at humans first arrival in the milky way galaxy :o
I think movies about a galactic invasion is the next logical step for Star Wars that will keep things fresh
budemawa that’s probably why the Expanded universe did it instead of rehashing the Original Trilogy *cough*
Project Luminous is a decent next step.
Disney doesn’t need to do it
if Disney does it they'll fuck it up. it wouldn't be able to be as dark as it needs to be
Or... and bear with me on this... we could just leave it be?

Or Sea Rhinoceros.
The Imperials couldn't bear their attacks.
What about the berenstain bears
That time Disney invaded the Star Wars galaxy...
And murdered everyone replacing them with cardboard cutouts
And did more damage than the Vong ever could
I’d love the Yuuzhan Vong and the Cade Skywalker stuff to be canon, and of course the celestial stuff and abeloth

They're starting that with Thrawn.
I would love to see the Yuuzhan Vong come to live action canon. They've always been one of my favorite invading races.

The one from Epesode 2 has a very strong shield for a star fighter. The one from Episode 3 suprizingly has no shield.
Lieutenant Nomad it's kind of a plot device to show the republic's transition to the empire and their changing design philosophy (quality>quantity ----> quantity>quality)
Awesome Video!
That song at the end, so dope!
Beginning of video, subtitles on:
"Hey guys, this is Ekharts SLAUGHTER"
Iran Otherspace back in the day-great concept.
Great video, I can't help but wonder if our galaxy could be one of the other galaxies , who knows , it could be.
I always tried to defend Legends. And I think EU should have it's rightful place as true Canon
But I think, extradementionalism takes weirdness of SW a bit to far.
Honest Happy Hater A lot of that stuff was from the 80's and wasn't part of the old continuity anyway, which began in the 90s
Yeah. The Marvel stuff was pretty terrible, all being recoloured humans fighting with no uniqueness.
How would the galaxy be if Palpatine wasn't evil
These beats so dayum FUNKAY
You should do something from Star Wars vs. either the hydrouges or faeros from the saga of seven suns. I think you'll be surprised by how strong they are.
There have been multiple different dim in Star Wars cannon
Terran Dominion vs Galactic Republic(Starcraft vs Star Wars)
PLS IVE BEEN ASKING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG
Song is Sunshower by HOME guys.
searched comments by keywords for it, go with that fishing knowledge
and may the seaweed be with you
Wait, I remember Kamino being around the Rishi Maze, but where is it exactly? I thought it was relatively close to Geonosis and that area of the galaxy.
Do a video on the purpose of the Rebel transport ship. Why is it present in major battles? What was it's tactical purpose?
I think you forgot the one Sith that is from another Galaxy and appears long after the New Republic.
Top 5 to Top 10 TV episodes, books or comics to get fans looking to go beyond just the movies hooked into the secondary story lines.
What is that picture of you keep on showing? The one with that centipede-like body and bony legs, with a cape? I've never seen it before in Star Wars, and I've researched a lot.
I like to just turn this channel on autoplay and zone out while playing battlefront
The vong are my favorite because there the most invasive spices there are
Extradimensional stuff is awesome and I'm always a big fan of that kinda stuff. On the other hand, I always think that extragalactic is just kinda... unecessary. Like, the galaxy is so large, you dont need to resort to other galaxies.
I’m opposite with you on that. I want to hear more stories about the Firefist galaxy.
Keep doing the weird stuff in Star Wars video and unknown regions video
Stuff like that spaceship sailboat really make me glad that legends isn’t canon
The Flood vs The Reaper (Mass Effect)
I think instead of putting them in a war it would be more interesting to see who is more efficient in destroying a galaxy
Minbari VS UNSC
Warlock Class Destroyer VS ISD
Clan Elemental VS Spartan VI
Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) vs Type 47-B Scarab
SF Dragon vs A-wing
Hmmm... the force can be like Warhammer chaos in some ways. If you look at what kreya says about the force cause so much suffering to shape things.
You could even think of one or more higher beings actually shifting the force, but not being the force it’s self.
Yessss! I missed this kind of videos!
Sweet! You came through! Love this channel
The U.V. are so interesting, I can't spell it I think it's Uhjong Vong? SO cool
I think it would be amazing to introduce them to the Canon movies because it could actually align the whole Star wars Galaxy together for a common cause.
I don't know if it would be first order or who but it would be amazing
Purgil? Does that count as a species from hyperspace? Idk.
I got to say the one on the bottom right looks like the doom cacodemon
Lore video on the Rebel Alliance/New Republic army
I would love to see a video on 5 slaving empires like the zyggerian and the troidoshan empire
Awesome vapor wave in your videos.
Clone wars FINAL SEASON IS KILLING IT!!! DAVE Filoni is a Star Wars god!
I don't know how I'd feel about other galactic and inter-dimensional forces, but because I'm unsure id love to see it since it could be good
List; 15th try
Edit: for all these matches they it would be cool if you had one round where the two dont know each other and one where they do to see how it will affect it

Artofwar 10 Darth Vader would beat Anakin he knows his fighting skills but I love the most of your suggestions
Clash Gamer i edited it so its a bit better
Artofwar 10 I am impressed that you have these many ideas and I love almost all of them great work!
Artofwar 10 Was At-m6 the walker of the first order?
If so I do believe it is more powerful cause they learned from the Empire's mistakes and made their weapons so they didn't make the same mistakes
Ussr vs the empire or combine vs the empire
Mic Clank
Ussr stronk tovarich)))))))
Mic Clank Depends, does comrade Stalin fight too? In that case he would probably almost single handedly beat the Empire and pulverize Palpatine
T-34 + Soyuz rocket = unstoppable
Combine would stomp all.
Mic Clank are you an idiot?
The empire is in control of a galaxy, the ussr is in control of less than half a planet. The empire has hundreds of thousands of ships and trillions of soldier. A more reasonable choice would be ussr vs a star destroyer
It would be cool to see the weird part of star wars
Super Star Destroyer vs Ancient City Ship Atlantis(fully powered with 3 ZPM and a full compliment of drones).
Figure we need to get some stargate up in this.
And for fun...
The combined naval fleets of all four EVE-Online empires vs the Imperial Navy.
Killer vids, man. How about rock vs. paper vs. scissors?
Mngaal-mngaal was my favorite but it is super weird to spell
I PERSONALLY would really love if the yuuzhan vong were cannon
Bring it on I love all of the information
Thanks for the cool content. Keep it up.
Absolutely would prefer the odder bits added in
