A lot of times they'll also leave it up if there are any concerns about things (bricks, tiles, whatevs) falling and potentially hitting any pedestrians below. My old neighborhood had a church where that was the case and it was cheaper then fixing the old roof/masonry.

yeah lol i don't use wattpad anymore but i don't know why everyone bashes it. it's a way of making reading more accessible, and helps aspiring authors get their work out into the world. and fanfiction is only a very small proportion of what's on there
Actually many authors get published there first before they get discovered, so in some way you get to experience their work first hand. Also don't beat yourself over not being able to read like Jack, it's his job now and the more he reads the more views he gets.

I did that with a bag in a charity shop, wanted to check my book fitted in the bag. The lady behind the counter thought i was pinching the book. i told her what i was doing and she was glad it wasn't just her.

Book recommendation! So, my favorite book is called The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin. It’s about a man named Sam Westing who owns a paper prouduct company and is a multi millionaire. When he is mysteriously murdered, 16 people must find out who killed him in order to win the money. But! The murderer is one of the 16!!! it’s really good and if you like mystery’s you show read it
