I don’t live in the uk but my country still has them. Idk how many I just know one. But it’s amazing to have them mostly bc I read English books but my country isn’t natively English . So finding my books in a bookstore is hard.

I currently live in Lithuania, I'm from Ukraine and its possible to find english books in bookstores, but you dont have a very big selection, mainly all books are translated. For example, I recently bought myself "the secret history" but in Lithuanian and thats fine for me, I learned the language good enough to read :) (actually, english isnt my native too, so yeah 🤣). But we don't have many shops that other, more "western european" countries have, so thats sad. Also usually shipping costs the same as the order if not more, so its very complicated to get something by online shopping :(

@@penguinpaddle743 wow, thats cool! :) I usually find english books in hypermaxima or in the bookstore called "bookstore" 🤣 (knygynas in lithuanian). I live Kaunas, near to the centre, so its close to my home and the shop has a special place for books in foreign languages.
@@marusyahavryliuk2676 that's nice! Our supermarkets have 10 books and they're all in latvian, but i got a sherlock holmes srory once on discounts! Orhee than that, we have one bookstore( Jānis Roze) that has one bookshelf with english books and that's my main source for bying books.( i don't live in Riga, so my options are really limited) I also order books from that store so it's not so bad.
Hey "clockwork reader" is a american booktuber and she made one recently . Its a sage green colour and quite aesthetic too and you can also buy it on amazon . Check out her channel ,she posted a video about it recently and its like $25 from what I remember . I follow her and watch her videos so it came to my mind and I thought about helping you .
