Beautiful cottage, Kate has a great sense of style. I loved the art works, the tomettes, the garden pots. What a lovely couple, very courageous to take on the barn renovation. Our story mirrors theirs in that we bought a petite Maison in Pays de la Loire during lockdown , from New Zealand, then waited a year to be able to get there. Happily it also proved to be just what we wanted. Bon courage

The horses are beautiful Also , please let your friends know that there are natural things you can rub horses down with to keep the flies away, especially since they can definitely cause health problems. What a lovely cottage, I love the neutral tones yet here and there little pops of earthy colors like the candlesticks for example . The La Cornue oven. My favorite was the bunny lamp looking out the window. Also I love the creamy white flower pots in the garden. The horses too! Thank you for taking us along .

Impressive, especially after seeing the before video just since last year. Lots of long work days and nights (and help?). Looks like they have been there for years. The stone/tile masonry work in France, Italy of other parts of Europe gives the buildings a real timeless look...like it. The barn!!
Yes it’s very impressive! I admire their energy and how much they get done each time they’re here! Professionals are doing the works on the barn now but everything else they’ve done themselves and with the help of friends.

Marloues- I am new to your channel. When I worked in England I gravitated toward French cuisine. I am reading BRUNO CHIEF OF POLICE BY MARTIN WALKER for the second time. I am so happy to be in the South of France in his books. We are New England farmers and live a country rustic lifestyle of 1930s Americana. That said I plan to adopt some of the French country kitchen concept. I ordered Bruno's cookbook from the series that is coming out in English in November. Another favorite novel is HOTEL PASTIS.
