- Helping my brother move into university for his first year at Bournemouth Uni!! This made me SO jealous that I'm no longer a fresher, and made me want to re-live it all again. So, join me in living vicariously through my younger brother as we move his things into his new room, go for the all-important food shop, and explore Bournemouth.

I just feel so bad for my parents as im sure you do now because my brother and i moved out to do our first years at the same time despite him being 2 years older than me. And ironically enough im glad i had the chance to visit him before i moved out because i had to bring him 2 chargers he forgot.

Going into my second year here in sunny Bournemouth. Have to say, your brother couldn't have picked a better place to come to uni. The town itself is a nice, chilled place to live, and the uni itself isn't too bad either. Hope he enjoys his first year. (And good luck for your third!)
Heyy, if you see this and you stayed in halls, what accommodation would you recommend in? I'm planning to go later this year but heard mixed things about accommodation at the halls.
I just graduated from Bournemouth (though I did archaeology) but I can guarantee that your brother is in for an amazing three or four years!! Bournemouth is such a great place and the uni is honestly so amazing! I hope he has the best time!!!!!!!

I've helped my little sister move into uni this year too, and it was a catastrophe. We had to take a bus, with a wrecked/destroyed/broken suitcase, and her accomodation was at the top of a little hill that we had to CLIMB. With a broken suitcase. Soo much fun 😂
To be honest, it was exhausting, but I'm so freaking proud of her.

It’s crazy to think that I first subscribed when you were moving into uni and I was starting high school and now you’re a third year and I’m a senior and by the end of the year I’ll (probably) be in your brother’s position

I’m going into 2nd year but I’ve transferred to a new uni so I get to move back to halls and be a fake fresher again! This is technically my 3rd year of uni too as I dropped out halfway through year 2 😩 I’m so old

Went through the same last year! My tip is if you can, travel a lot using cheap flights, hostels etc. Get internships in other countries or volunteer with local ngos. You'll find that you learn a lot during that year !!
