Off topic, but the relationship you have with your parents seems so warm, and wholesome, and joyful! Watching you smile at your mum as she helped film your bedroom tour at the end reminded me of making home videos as a little kid, and made me want to be creative with my parents again as a young adult!

I found my aesthetic! 'Victorian light academia' Nice balance of old and modern without being overbearing. I love it!! I could never make my room as light and airy as this though.
I really like how your room turned out I always thought your modern bed was a bit out of place knowing how much you love victorian items and antiques. I can see a bed skirt, antique rug, and bonnet in your room's future, they would really finish off the look🙂! With that said, I adore seeing how supportive your parents are with your various interest. I must say, your dad did a great job on the bookcase, he is a true craftsman. gotta be honest, our style is very different and our personality in general but since i’ve been watching for so long your videos bring me a sense of comfort i can’t describe, thank you

I miss to have my own freedom and create creativity. I will moved out when pandemic is over or next year since someone need to accompany my old parents. Sometimes, being adult mean you need to make difficult decision
Me too. I have always had a single but i am renting a full furnitured apartment for college and it has a huge double bed. I love this extra space and i sleep so much better now. On the other side it is a little bit scary sometimes and lonely but it doesn't really affect me.
Honestly, I’ve slept in both, and unless there is another person sharing the bed, I’d go for a single (I’ve tried sharing a single bed, it’s difficult 😂) I never use the whole bed, I always stick to one side anyways, so it’s not necessary for me to have a huge bed.
Yeees! I have had a single bed my entire life until my brother moved out and I got two rooms. I finally got a double bed and my old cat really loved the upgrade 😂

Lovely room! One of my favourite bits is the wheeled armchair. There are Victorian-style lampshades and curtains you can change the current floral ones to for even more ambience. It’s so nice to see a personal library so well-presented. The room looks uncluttered now. Another idea is a stool or similar to hold up your antique writing desk. Your dad is so sweet to make that clever nightstand. Well done overall! 🎀
My moms friend didn’t need a whole set of some old bedroom furniture anymore and gave it to me for free and when I first got it I didn’t really like it but now that I have fallen in love with Victorian times I like it a lot now
Hi Ruby! I absolutely love your channel. It has this incredibly calm and warm aesthetic and it makes me feel incredibly joyful every time I watch your videos.
I am sooooo late, but just wanted to say, that seeing some books that I've read on Your bookshelf was really nice, especially that they're less popular , at least here where I live.
I thought I was the only one who wrote down quotes or lines or words that I read or hear and hang them up. I do it all the time. When I was around 12 or so I had a notebook that I wrote “All Of The Lovely Words” on the front and I would copy down quotes and lines in it. I had it forever but my parents home (my childhood home) burned down about a year ago and we lost everything. Luckily I had taken some of my favorite childhood books from their attic and my mothers wedding gown and brought them to my home about 5 months before the fire. But I still lost all of my dolls, the dollhouse my grandfather built for me. Many photo albums and other keepsakes.
my family is obsessed with having big beds, i have a ful bed and i only use half of it, maybe even less so i feel you. all i need is a twin size and im good
this was such a beautiful video ruby!! i loved seeing your room transformation, there is something quite special about redecorating, especially when it's all done and you feel so satisfied with the final outcome!! you even gave me some ideas about decorating my room xx
I love people who never have enough room for their books! That says a lot about them! P.S - I adore Victorian style houses! My house in England is pretty much the same! Kisses from Italy :)
Is so nice that you can do whatever you want without anyone complaining to you.. My mom controls what I dress, what I eat, what I do,what I want to buy, what I don't want to buy and sometimes mylife..☹
The single bed makes so much more sense now, I saw it in your videos and was so confused as to how you have partners / SOs spend the night but that makes sense if you don’t make use of the double bed. Definitely a good decision your room looks so big!

My moms friend didn’t need a whole set of some old bedroom furniture anymore and gave it to me for free and when I first got it I didn’t really like it but now that I have fallen in love with Victorian times I like it a lot now
I am really looking forward to a house tour☺☺ and I absolutely love your new room Ruby🥰
Hi Ruby! I absolutely love your channel. It has this incredibly calm and warm aesthetic and it makes me feel incredibly joyful every time I watch your videos.
I am sooooo late, but just wanted to say, that seeing some books that I've read on Your bookshelf was really nice, especially that they're less popular , at least here where I live.
lovely make-over! when I turned 18 I transformed my childhood bedroom too and it's so much better now ❤️
Girl, you give me Anne from green gables vibes and the fact that your name is Ruby makes it even better
Ah thank you! I do love Ruby Gillis :px
I just love ruby and her wholesome content. Thank you for existing and allowing us to see in to your life, the motivation it gives me is incredible.
That was so sweet to watch you and your parents.
Many photo albums and other keepsakes.
my family is obsessed with having big beds, i have a ful bed and i only use half of it, maybe even less so i feel you. all i need is a twin size and im good
i am redoing my room and i am also making it old fashioned and antique also a little princess is my fav book it's a gorgeous poster
Such a nice and elegant bedroom
You remind me so much of Hermione Granger!! I love the room!
this was such a beautiful video ruby!! i loved seeing your room transformation, there is something quite special about redecorating, especially when it's all done and you feel so satisfied with the final outcome!! you even gave me some ideas about decorating my room xx
Love your room! It really makes it even more light and airy having that extra space for you to use in a versatile way!
Przepiękny pokój 😍
I love people who never have enough room for their books! That says a lot about them! P.S - I adore Victorian style houses! My house in England is pretty much the same! Kisses from Italy :)
Suka banget liat yg beginian aesthetic aja gtu 😩❤️ada yg sama ga?🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Is so nice that you can do whatever you want without anyone complaining to you..
My mom controls what I dress,what I eat,what I do,what I want to buy,what I don't want to buy and sometimes mylife..☹
Who could dislike this awesome videos? Such a beautiful video Ruby, greetings from Mexico💕
Gosh, how ridiculously nice! Well done! I loved it.
your room looks so nice indeed
I could never sleep with the door behind my head like that , I don’t know why but it freaks me out lol!
Such a lovely room though 🥰
The single bed makes so much more sense now, I saw it in your videos and was so confused as to how you have partners / SOs spend the night but that makes sense if you don’t make use of the double bed. Definitely a good decision your room looks so big!
Thanks boss have a productive day
