It is finally time to have a complete and top notch lowering kit. The People at Ridetech have designed just that. In this video I am going to show you a step by step with torque specs on how to lower your 2019-2023 GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Silverado, or GMC Sierra Denali truck. If you are looking to drop your new body style silverado or sierra this is a must watch. This kit has it all from front to back. I am excited to get it and try a shock that isn't a cheap $50 unit. This kit is for the 2019-2023 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado. This will drop or lower your 2wd or 4wd Silverado or Sierra roughly 2"-3" in Front and 4" in the rear. As I said this will work on 2wd or 4wd models. This is the most complete drop kit on the market for the 19-23 GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado. The drop was around 2.5 in front and 4.5 in the rear. I will also be making a separate video of the helper bag or air assist bags. This video show a diy or how to lower your silverado or sierra. You will not find a better how to install video that is as in depth as this. I know it is a long one but I wanted to show all the diy people out there how to do this drop or lowering kit install with simple hand tools in your driveway. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

That green truck is the ultimate back ground 🔥 🔥
I do like my green truck
In depth, as it needed to be, and the end result is awesome!
Thank you. It was a long one
Your truck looks awesome! I'm looking at installing this kit on my LT Silverado. Will I still have to deal with the sensors, or is this just on the higher trim packages? I apologize if this was mentioned in the video, I might have missed it.
Not if it isn't equipped
The wait was punishing but Damm that thing looks good 👍🏻
Lol. Thank you
Have you been able to find something to get past the Magride system/shock delete? Cause everytime it hit it sends the truck into this safety feature that won’t let the truck together up and go. Thank you for your videos Brother!!
Mine seems fine other than service suspension notice each time I start the truck
Why the hell would anyone buy a truck then lower it???
Man bun coming next.
Dumb I guess
Awesome. I wonder if those rear shocks would work on my 08 suburban. Can't wait to hear how it rides over bumpy roads.
They will work actually
Too bad this truck’s engine lifter issues make it a bad project and money pit.
Ok
Always love your videos buddy👍
Thank you
You know I always love your videos!!!! That denali is sweet
Thank you. Send me an email with your pick and shipping info
For the price of these kits the shocks should be fully assembled.
High but best I have driven on ride wise
Hey I recently did a 4/6 drop on my 2017 Denali but suspension service light came on is there a way to remove it?
Need shock simulators
@@TWAMotorsports Do you have a link of which ones you recommend and have you done a video installing them?
Yes several times. Videos on the channel and product in video description
Travis came across your channel when searching for a lowering kit / how to install it on a newer GMC Sierra. Your video was by far the best video I could find. Thank you for the step-by-step how-to video. Now I'm hooked to the channel
Thank you
Just the right look for the truck, not too low. Great video on the installation of the ridetech kit, looked like the worst part was programming the modules. Looking forward to the airbag installation. Again those wheels look great. ✌🏻
Thank you. I sure like it
Sr I have a cuestion so whit that kit u no need cut the frame anymore
No
That truck is fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you
How does it ride? I have a 2019 6.2L SLT 4x4 max towing package with a Borla Touring system and a COI, and wanted to do this as well. The truck is mainly used to drive from STL to our Branson lake house so we do some decent highway driving. Moderate towing, but that will end now that we have a boat slip.
Best riding lowered one I have ever done
Did you have any drive shaft vibration after ?
No
I have a 23 Chevy Silverado 4x4 High Country and because of my physical disability I have 8 right knee replacements, 2 left knee replacements and 2 major back surgeries. I can’t lift my Rt knee high enough to get into my new truck, so I need my truck lowered so I can get into it, I think a 4/6 would work, I’ve watched so many videos my eyes are changing holes lol 😂, but I want to complement your videos they have been so much help and informational on what would work and what to look for im fixing to watch 1:16 1:16 1:16 the video you did on the blue met. I just don’t want to lose my ability to tow so I think that a helper bags from airlift so I can put a little air in the back when needed, I had them on my 2500 HD Duramax/ Allison I sold that and bought my last truck and I want it perfect stance and wheels and tires are everything it makes or breaks the vehicle so keep up the good work if we lived closer I would love to let you do it but I’ll take your advice and make sure the shop will do it the way it should be, No corner s will be cut it is to be done right and ride like a new truck. Thank You … Mark
Will need helper bags if you plan to haul
I have a 2020 as well but I’m running a 26” snowflake wheel with a 305/30/26 tire. Can you give a final measurement from center of the wheel to the clearance of the fender
Will come down 2.5 front and 4.5 rear from current setting
Does the truck bottom out with the kit you're putting on? I want to lower 2023 Silverado. I'm not hauling or towing anything with my truck.
If you go 4.5 in the back without helper bags it would bottom out on big dips.
Man,… that’s a lot of work to lower these new trucks. I’ve done all of the GM trucks up to the nnbs trucks, but nothing newer.
Also surprised you don’t use never-seize on the coilover adjustment nut.
They don't call for any on the coilover
How would you rate the ride quality on a 1-10? With 10 being factory ride quality.
9
It looks great. 😎
Do you get any noise from the front end after installing this kit?
I had this kit installed on my 22 Silverado and it clunks when I go over speed bumps 🤔
I don't have that issue
On the preload of the front strut couldn't you just put a piece of masking tape or sumthin like that then set the preload till it measures a half inch?
You sure could
Can i install it on gmc sierra AT4?
Yep
Does the 4x4 system work still ?
Yes
I love this truck Brother !
Thank you. Send me an email with your pick and info. Email in video description
Good Monday evening Travis from here in the northeast.. I'm just getting home from work and settled in and just tuning in to your video with the big dollar ride tech upgrade on your kinda new GMC Sierra...👍
Thank you Keith
Hey Bro, I just lowered my 2020 GMC Sierra Denali and looking for the bypass sensors. Could you provide the link of where you got yours from. Thank you.
Shockdelete is the company but mine suck. Still get a service suspension error
@@TWAMotorsports Bro have you tried this already. th-cam.com/video/J_8p5ShpP24/w-d-xo.html
What the price on a complete kit have a 202 sierra Denali with 22inch wheels love the video I’m close shirt long sleeve
You are late for the shirt unfortunately but all in the kit is around 4k
Hey great video Large
Already gone
I can never keep up with all the trucks you have lol good job with the videos keep it up
Thank you. We do have a few.
Well due to work I missed being in the top few comments but great watch! You do great work man!
Thank you
Looks Awesome!!!
Thank you
Can i use this kit on my gmc 2023 crew cab dually 4wd?
No
Thank you for the hard work & effort with putting this video together 🙏🏻
I own a 2021 Silverado 1500 LT 2WD (5.3 - short bed) and have been trying to settle on which lowering kit to go with.
It’s been a toss up between Ridetech’s kit you installed, and Belltech’s 1040SPC (w/ adjustable coilovers & rear C-notch). There’s over a $1K difference in price and I’d like to find out if it’s worth paying the extra amount for the Ridetech, or not?
I wasn’t planning on doing the bag support, but after watching your video, I’ll likely add on later. I don’t currently plan on towing anything though.
Any thoughts, or feedback, would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻 Ty!
Btw, with Memorial Day sales going on, I decided to pull the trigger on the Ridetech and ordered it today. From the research I’ve done, there seems to be a noticeable quality difference..and even though Belltech feels like a reputable brand, and I’m sure it’s comparable in some ways, but the components look to be achieving the same end result, but in a different fashion.
Your comments during the unpacking video stayed with me too, and how well the quality of the materials used impressed you. The upper A-arm replacement and how the coilovers are fully adjustable also pushed me over the fence.
I’m the type too that wants the stance, but as an everyday driver, I didn’t want issues after 6-12 months of driving, and felt there was more of a chance with that with the Belltech product. A coworker of mine has the Belltech, so we’ll see ha.
If you happen to have any knowledgeable install referrals in the WPB, FL area, I’d greatly appreciate it. Many thanks again for your post, info, and video. I’m a subscriber for sure
@tedg102 you will appreciate the quality thats for sure
Sae this after the second comment. I know it's a lot of money but still going strong and rides great!
Well..quick update. I sure wish I had the smooth shipping experience you had. I ordered the complete kit, got the truck to the shop, and get the call I was dreading…kit is missing the control arms, and upper/lower coil over mounting brackets. Wish me luck because everyone involved doesn’t seem to have straight answers and I’m beginning to regret going this direction unfortunately.
@tedg102 that sucks. Sorry to hear that
Always great content 👌
Thank you
It’s better to measure from the center of the wheel to the top of wheel well instead of from the ground
Not the way I do it
Color match the flares
Maybe someday
Nice color GMC
Thank you
Love the new ride
Thank you. Me too
👍🏿
Thank you
Looks good!
Thank you
God bless the guy who invented the ratchet wrench.
No joke
How does the power running boards work since its lowered?
Same as always
Thank you Travis...very helpfull as I will be doing this to my new truck. I have a question, the rear only goes 4", if I needed to go a little more, no more than 1" how do you suggest I go about that? I really like this kit. I know there are other kits out there like the IHC that do a 3/5 but really want this one.
Can a block be added to the rear to get that extrfa inch? Thank you in advance.
John
If you do that you will need a notch honestly
@@TWAMotorsports thank you for the reply, how do you feel about them? any suggested brands?
thanks
Probably belltech
Is it good towing? How much can you safely tow?
Tow cars on a trailer all the time
Woooohooooo
Indeed. Send me an email with your pick. Email in video description
There’s just something about a beautifully lowered 4wd that I absolutely love!! Starting on my Escalade next week and I’m super excited to get her down on our level lol
I agree. I love them.
NICE! I like the factory duels, could you show how they are set up?
I can try to do that
I kove what lowering a vehicle does. Lokks so clean.
Thank you. Me too
Great video. Want to do another one? GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate?
Thank you and no
@@TWAMotorsportsunderstandable. Lol
@tpaulsmith7194 wish I had the time
My kit has been installed. I love it. Thanks for the inspiration. Installer did a great video. Wish I could share it with you.
Glad it went well and you like it.
I have a 2022 GMC 2500 Crew Cab W/ a 6.6 Duramax.
Won't work
Is the axel hitting the frame ? Need a c notch ?
Not with the bags inflated but with less than 20lbs on big dips yes a little
Great content, need to see a gmc3500hd please.
Don't have one of those unfortunately
That isn’t a 4x4 that’s a Two Wheel Drive
Umm no
Did you make a video on the helper bags yet.
Hope to have it up in a few weeks
What tires are you running with 22's?
285/45/22
Would this be the same for an 18?
No. Different kit
Would the centering pins need be reverse if flipping the axle back?
Not on this one I don't think
@TWAMotorsports 10-4 thank you , i reversed my flip kit an went back to stock height an had to redo the pin . Thank you for all your videos
👍
Why would you want to lower a truck? Makes no sense unless you are a wants be gangster boy.😂
Thanks for watching
Better than a redneck named Colt.
Very nice truck. What’s the tire size?
Thank you. 285/45/22
We’ve definitely held out. Looks awesome!
Thank you
I want to do my Silverado but it’s a high country with all those sensors on the shocks. So what do I need to do
I covered that in this video
@@TWAMotorsports so do I have to buy that tools to re-calibrate everything? Are can a dealer do it for me?
Not sure if dealer will or not
Hey, I had quick question. I have a 2017 sierra Denali 1500 4wd. I wanted to put 2” drop shackles. Will that ruin the ride?
No
@@TWAMotorsports will it still ride like factor?
Not factory but not bad either
@@TWAMotorsports ok, thanks
You're welcome
Finally been waiting forever for this !!!
Me too
might be nice for my 2023
Definitely
Hey Travis great video as always. I had left you a message about a year back when you still had the grey nbs crewcab. I did ridetech coilover all around my nbs crewcab about two and half years and have had nothing but a bad experience with it.
My question is .. and it might be to soon to ask, are you getting any noises (squeaking) from your Balljoints from your control arms ? I know they come with proforged Balljoints. I been wanting to replace them with moog Balljoints to see if I can get rid of the noise. SMH ridetech.
Maybe if you do get squeaking noises you can mention it in a follow up video. Thanks in advance
Wow. No not yet and hopefully I don't have the same experience.
Definitely will be doing a follow up.
Hopefully not. Thanks for the reply. Will be looking forward to your follow up. Truck is sitting just right.
Thank you. Yeah if it does. It will be known
Damn I’m late lol
Yeah. A little late.
Love the truck & the videos
Thank you
Hey Travis how did it Align? And did Ride Tech let you know what to do with the brakes brackets on the rear end?
It aligned without issues. I didn't use the brake line brackets in the 12 bolt rear.
@@TWAMotorsportsThat is really a nice kit, just the price is pretty high on it, I 2021 Silverado with only 2100 miles on it , right after I got it I talked to Tim at Suspension online About the mcgaughy,s kit and he said they didn’t make anything for it, but now they have a 2.5 /4 drop and 4 /6 for around $1400, but it wouldn’t work on your truck because the shock System you had on it, I worry about the warranty on mine if I lower it, don’t know what will happen.
It will cancel warranty on shocks and suspension but nothing else
@@TWAMotorsports Yeah I was thinking maybe just that , it’s crazy you can go to the dealership and buy a new lifted trucks already with no problem with warranty because they had done.
I agree with that statement
I've seen metal zip ties. It sits great!
I have some. Didn't even think about that
Love the color and the look 👀
Thank you. Me too
