So happy to have you back! 🎉 Congrats on the home. 🎉 Your little guy did a lot of work, what a good helper 😊 Thought the car was going bye bye, good tease. Looking forward to your new adventures!
Great stuff Steve! Congratz to your new place! Will be exciting to see more of it! And glad that the DC2 is sticking with you! You are building it so nicely and making such clever decisions in the upgrades. More videos please :)
Thank you! My goal was to not really upgrade or modify anything until after it's first track day and then just upgrade as I go...but that's not really happening like planned. Haha. I just "upgrade" when it makes sense to when repairing something - like the braided brake lines, interior, and now radiator. More to come!
Dude heck yeah! Stoked you've popped back up! Holy moly your side mirror was so close to the pillar when you were parking lol. Been meaning to ask you if you knew of any events or interesting car things that might be going on from like 10/9 - 10/17? I'll be back in Tokyo for a week and was hoping to get back into the swing of things car-wise.
Thank you! Just been busy with life and business and still trying to make it all work together to get consistent again. You can check dupcar-event.com/event/ for events. It's not everything but it has a lot of the main car shows of various genres. Not so much track days or stuff like that, but most likely any weekend of the year there's a track day going at most tracks. Finding that specific info can be more difficult and I usually see most stuff being shared on IG and then from there I look into it. Have a good trip!
@@BRICKHOUSESPL Had a blast. Was gonna swing by and check out that euro event over at Fuji, but was a bit too far out from where we were staying. Thanks for that website! Much appreciated mate. Looking forward to checking out your new vid.
You summed it up perfectly! haha I was planning on just dropping it in and go on my way. A few days of work and now a couple weeks later and it's out of the car again. hahaha
The joys of 90s Hondas. I have a love hate relationship with my Civic. Its great when it works. I have a Koyo as well. I'm using one of those simple aluminium brackets. Spoon sells them for example, but doesn't have to be Spoon. Just that style of bracket works.
You nailed it. They're always looking for a reason to break. hahaha That's really good info on the brackets! I was honestly wondering if those would work.
Hey man, for the top rad hose, you could try cutting a bit off the long piece that fits on the rad side to eliminate the kink. Hope that makes some sense to you
I put a new Koyorad in my DC2R with no issues whatsoever, so I'm guessing that's either a very old design or perhaps not for a DC2 chassis. Also, nice clickbait on the title lol. I'M TOTALLY GOING TO UNSUBSCRIBE, MAN! 🤣
A wise sage of TH-cam advice named Dave Pratte once said, "Clickbait isn't clickbait if there some aspect that's true." Hahaha. I was really trying to live by that - it's all true, just misleading. haha. I'm going to have to go back and find your video. All I can figure is they must have reduced the core thickness on the newer versions. This thing is HUGE. The fan mounting points and rad mounting points are all in the correct positions so it seems like it has to be DC2. I really considered it being for another chassis.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL lol this Pratte fellow sounds wise indeed! 😂That rad does look significantly thicker than the one we put in the ITR. Thickboi rads always cause grief, no way around it, as I'm sure you know. I guess as Koyorad's cores have become more efficient they've been able to reduce thickness. Or maybe that's a Race specific rad, where they assume you want all the capacity you can get and don't mind the work involved in making it fit.
@@speedacademydave after looking at other installed pics, it looks like they really slimmed it down like you said. :( Going to do my best to make this one work.💪
Congrats on the move. Glad you are keeping the DC2. Wish I still had mine.
Thank you! I'm looking forward to logging some headache free miles with it! haha

Best little helper. 😊 Thanks for the support!
Congratulations again on the new home! Looks like a great place. And awesome to have you back!
Thank you!! Just need to find some consistency with uploads and I'll consider myself back. haha. Happy to get a video up either way!

Can´t wait for more updates on the integra man :D good to see you again!
Thank you! More to come for sure...it's sooooooo close! But I've been saying that for about a year or so now. hahaha
Nice upgrade. Congrats on the new place. Glad your keeping the dc2
Thank you! Definitely have unfinished business with the DC2 - can't get rid of it yet!
Congrats on the new home!
Thank you!!
Congratulations again Steve! Can't wait for the house tour! Looks like a nice and peaceful area!
Thank you! It's a big change from where we were living but it's been a great move so far! This mountain air is so freshhhhhh!
Congratulations on the move! Can’t wait for the parking spot restoration!
Thank you! I really can't wait to get into it myself! Excited to have my own space with a roof! haha
Congratulations!! Stoked for you!
Also “hopefully that smell is the truck in front of me” is something I find myself thinking often😂
Thank you!! And yeah, I was pretty nervous for a few seconds. haha #oldcarlife

Yes! Glad you're keeping it..excited to see what comes next steve, cheers.
For sure, really want to drive it! haha. Thanks for watching - more to come!
I have never seen you wait for the last minute when it comes to moving!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Pew pew pew. Shots fired. Casualty reported. Call an ambulance. 😂😂😂
Congrats sir.... are you still able to get parts? I'm looking for a rear window seal for a 2000 Integra
Yes I can. Feel free to send me a DM or email via the website - www.jdmwheels.co
Not gonna lie you had us in the first half 😂
haha, sorry! I was trying to tell the truth...just in a misleading way. hahaha
Cool freeway footage! 🍻
Thank you and noted!👍
Another great vid Steve. Glad the click bait title wasn’t true though 😂. Props on the new house.
Thank you! I had fun with the title and thumbnail - wanted to make sure it was true even if a bit misleading on face value. hahaha
A theoretically "quick job" that takes 3x longer than you expect and leaves you covered in scratches and bruises. I can relate sir. Car stuff😂

Blimey, my heart skipped a beat for a moment mate!! Congratulations on you new house purchase! ❤👍👍😃😃😃😃🍾🍾

@@BRICKHOUSESPL The OEM ones have that bit that sticks out and hooks/hugs the radiator support. Very little adjustment and movement from those.
@@terry_em1 yeah, my thought was to cut to hooks off to make it flat on that side...if the step looks like it's going to work.

100% - that's what I was thinking too. I'm going to put a temp gauge in so I'll trim it to length once that's situated.
@@BRICKHOUSESPL ahh, that sounds like a good plan, best of luck with the build, I have my own DC2 rhd building here in Jamaica, its Kswapped

New video finaly 😂 congrats again with a new home, happy to see dc2 :)
Maybe home tour video later? 🙂
Thank you - it's been a long time coming! And yes, I'll do something like that :)
Really got me with that title for a minute haha
Mission accomplished! jk, jk. haha I was having fun with it. Thanks for watching!
DAMn click bait got me...I was super sad thinking that you sold it to someone. Happy to know you're keeping it around.
Too much unfinished business to sell it now! I just want to log some touge/track/highway miles and really enjoy golden era Honda life for a minute.
Where can I get a Brickhouse T???
It's from a batch we did in like 2017. Time to get some merch going though now that you mention it.

'bout time, right!?
