Thought about what your abandoned car looked like in the beginning.... Wow, you've done so much to it and come so far with the improvements. We can hear the excitement and relief in your voice that it is now drivable. Time for the cars next phase. 🙂
Huge relief to have it running. I've put more miles on it in the last month than I have in two years of owning it. Still feels like a never ending fix it list as now new issues become apparent.😓
Super old school. I think I bought my first one (same design) in like 2006 or so. I really like it. Super easy to read at a glance and not annoyingly bright. It's more of like a strong glow than an intense light, if that makes sense.
Sweet! The DC2 has really come a long way 👌 I like that you’ve shown all the things you had to deal with here and not just a click of the fingers TH-cam edit. Cars always make you work for these things haha.
I honestly always wonder what's the best way to do it, but I've shown the whole journey from the beginning so I told myself I'd keep with the in depth style for this car. The appeal of a click fingers type edit would be nice though in terms of getting work done without worrying about filming as I'm sure you can relate!
What a video update! Patience and persistence rewarded. So happy for you bro. Glad you’re going to get some use now of the car. Side note the scenery is amazing wow!
@@martindeoliveira5128 Don't plan your trip for November then! Haha. That's peak Cedar pollen season. But for real, the mountain roads around here are begging to hear the VTEC choir. hahaha
Nice video, love that you compared the new and old size Koyo and showed how to trim the fan shroud! Have you considered running a slim fan instead? Would be awesome if you did a video on wiring up a slim fan setup.
Thank you! I really hope it's not a problem/concern than many of my audience have to face. I had no idea Koyorad has different models for different markets. A slim fan was the final option if I couldn't make the stock fans work, but, since each radiator had the OEM fan mounting provisions and I now have an extra set of OEM fans, I was pretty keen on making them work. If these overheat and die, I'll sort out a solution in the future.
Thanks to you, I now know why I didn’t have issues running the Koyorad in my USDM DC2 with OEM fans and heat shield. But I’ve heard if I change to an aftermarket header, like the Spoon 4-2-1, I may need to swap to a slim fan setup or trim the OEM fan shroud, which I’m a bit hesitant to do…after watching your video 😂 Keep up the great work bro!
Seems like this is the way based on other comments! I think the OEM EG(?) single DIN delete plate is still available. Could maybe use that as a mounting plate for the gauges. 🤔
Way less cool than that. Haha. It's a Honda Acty OEM shift knob. The Acty is their old kei truck. They're like less than $10 but have a nice shape and, more importantly, the shift pattern needed to pass shaken (road inspection).

Love that Temp monitoring system. Oldschool in a sense

JDI Ghost Box for the bluetooth receiver
I'll look into that - thank you!!
@@BRICKHOUSESPL What he said. Most guys in the US use it.
@@terry_em1 sweet, I'll definitely do some research!
What a view. Nice place to live, Steven 😮😊 engine looking clean 🎉
Thank you! I'm really enjoying the scenery here. I'm from an area in America without any mountains, so I think it's really cool seeing them.

Feels so good to log some miles on it FINALLY! Scenery change is a huge win but these allergies are killing me. Good grief. 😂
@@BRICKHOUSESPL don’t worry I have sinus issues too lol but it’s worth the VTAK!

Beautiful car and scenery
Thank you! It feels good to be out of the city!
Great video man! Can´t wait for more integra content!!!
Thank you!! More to come!

Hell Yeah he YF gauge is great. They always sold out though.
Yeah, I love it. Easy to read at a glance and not too bright. The sensor type are so hard to find anymore!
Just fit a standard rad? They're more than up to the job of cooling the car on heavy track use
That would have been a lot less work! Haha.
Is that a ef shift knob?

@@BRICKHOUSESPL wow that's awesome; it reminds me of the shift knob on my standard model 91 ef hatch but i just remembered that was a 4 speed
Where can I message you about buying the koyo rad?
