We were encouraged to clap for nurses during covid but what do the tories do now? Uncap bankers massive bonusses so they can buy another holiday home in Tuscany, but cant offer nurses a decent living wage. The immorality and dishonesty is appalling.
100% agree. Let's tell the Banksters we're going to organise a clapping session instead of uncapping their piratical bonuses.

I've shared this video with all my UK relatives and friends hoping it will shake them up enough to get off their asses and do something about the government before the UK sinks further into an Oligarchical authoritarian regime.

Funny how the MPs keep getting pay rises, yet when someone else wants a pay rise they moan about the wage price spiral. If that's a big issue, why aren't they taking a pay cut to help out the country?
There's a word for that - hypocrisy.
Here in Ireland all civil servants get the same or very similar % levels of pay rises from teachers to politicians. There was a pay freeze and some pay reductions in some of the better paid sectors for a few years after the financial crash but that's been lifted about 5 years ago
NHS is a massive employer of over a million people in the UK so an increase in their wages would have a greater effect on inflation, having said all that public sector wages in the UK have had no or a negative effect on inflation
Snp politicians haven't had a wage rise since 2008, any increases they get are ploughed back into the budget
And harping on about productivity, when they spend most of their time arguing against the hard work of others!

Tory boy was like a rabbit blinking into on coming headlights. Even arch Tory Fiona Bruce couldn't get in to defend and praise the government, as she usually does, because of Ms Sarkar's fast talking precision.
She'd be much better off just sticking with pretty pictures and furniture. She's a lightweight.

00:46 Junior doctors in England starting salary is around £29,000. In Australia the starting salary for a junior doctor is between £45,000 and £52,000 depending on which state they’re in. That’s a HUGE problem, especially as more and more doctors are leaving the NHS for Australia and other countries. Last year almost 7000 U.K. NHS doctors applied for working aboard certificates with 1 in 4 of those going to Australia, which is up on the 5576 that applied for them in 2021, that’s more than a 25% increase in one year!

It's hard to believe what this country has become. Us Scousers warned the lot of you what the tories would do to the country. This crisis started 13 years ago but until it started to affect the middle class, nobody gave a crap. Half a million people had already died before covid thanks to austerity, but they were poor and disabled so it didn't matter to the rest of the UK. It's not just the tories I blame for this, it's the people who voted for them, despite all this being public knowledge, and decided to vote tory anyway because it hadn't affected them yet. Now the tories have milked the poor and working class for everything they can, its on to the middle class, and it's annoying AF to watch the MC respond with disbelief, when it's been happening infront of them for over a decade.

Pure class from Ash, a young and bright lady who says it as it is. When justifying bankers' pay and bonuses (even after they caused the financial crash) we have to pay to get the best people. Our medical staff, on the other hand, must be content to be treated as charity workers. Enough is enough.
