I think 'Feminism' as it once was made sense - if a woman is doing the same job as a man - she should be paid the same & also women that bring up children while men were at work should be valued for the essential part they contribute. Men are not created with 'more intelligence' than women etc ...
But now almost anyone with an agenda can tie that to 'Feminism' so the word has become virtually meaningless & if someone claims they are 'a Feminist' ,someone questioning 'in what way' ? can simply be shut down as being a 'reactionary, patriarchal & anti-female'

Notice how she attacks Jacob's class and Murtasz's age - attacking the people, or her perception of them, rather than talking about the actual facts of the issue. And people wonder why politics has become so adversarial. It's because people like her cannot help themselves, perhaps because they don't have any real arguments.

Yeah, and that's exactly why they're no good for jobs or positions that require a large degree of emotional detachment such as company CEOs or world leaders. There are exceptions to the rule, of course - there's a bloody good reason Margaret Thatcher was nicknamed "the Iron Lady" - but the best example is housing or property moguls. A woman will make a house into a home. She'll imbue it with certain characteristics, essentially anthropomorphise it over a period of time and become emotional upon having to leave it. To a man, it's a pile of bricks and mortar. Simple as.

This lady would do well to remember that, when one finds oneself in a hole, one should stop digging, the fallacy of her "argument" having been brilliantly exposed by both the host and the other guest. Why is she such a regular guest on GB News anyway? Perhaps it is because such go bshi tery (please excuse the spaces) usually generates a fairly strong audience reaction (always good for the ratings) and, in her case, one that is most likely to be annoyance or laughter.

That's typical of feminists, they take great pride in cutting men's balls off, I'd like to see if they believed in feminism in an emergency situation, like vacating out of or off a ship, I bet they'd revert back to the old ways then, Women & children get off first, that would be f**king hilarious, as who would be first off the women, the children, thransgender, the man that identifies as a woman, the none binary that decides what they want to be when it suits them, or the man or woman that identifies as being a 10 year old child, an absolute joke, I still can't believe how and why it's been let to get this bad.

      @LucyOLastic 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

And you actually believe that male chauvinists like them are concerned with women's rights? Especially Rees-Mogg who lives in the century that time forgot. Feminists like her know that trans/non binary people are an oppressed minority who are discriminated against. They see them as having much in common with women.
Feminism was always about "crushing the patriarchy." It was about women achieving independence from men and achieving equality of opportunity, equal rights, which were still a long way off. This was the 1960s railing against the conservatism and conformity of the 1950s. That guy is evidently too young to know any better.
Transgenders wanted legal recognition in the same way that homosexuals won the right to marry and be legally recognised as the gender they identify as. Thus, legally "women" or "men." But this hasn't gone down well with the old conservative traditionalists who see nothing but an existential threat: They are "erasing women. " This movement was completely reactionary, spawning the likes of Kellie Jay Keen and JK Rowling. Keen knew exactly who she intended to offend by posting "Adult Human Female" up on huge billboards in Liverpool. Did ordinary trans people need to be told by her that they will never be "real" women? From that a whole narrative has been spun to demonise trans people, and even an "ideology" I have yet to identify as anything other than an invention of the right wing, as represented by these two blokes.

@@davidwyllie8539 perhaps she is of some use as a perfectly stereotypical example of her tyoe.
her retorts are so basic and instinctual and solely from emotion that shes obviously ungrounded in reality, accusatory, histrionic and reactionary, we can clearly see her as an example of someone quite obviously not operating from the same place of considered thiught and logic as one would hope the rest of us might achieve.
Explained away no doubt by claims that what we see is "passion" of which there is little doubt.
But this is a form of single minded mania.
Every word uttered to this woman will receive this same response if there is a hint her ideology is criticised.
      A zealot.
A professional politician for a cause , lobbying you to be as neurotic about the opposite sex as she is.
And it works by default. You cannot help consider any topic as stressed or emergent or absolute if its expressed in such an unhealthy manner.
How did people who behave this way gain such loud voice?
Ar what point did we decide that quite clearly amd currently mentally disturbed people are to be involved on every single talking point and issue just because they have the necessary characteristics to screech about?
Even a conference of "people attacked by bulls amd traumatised by the experience"
Wouldnt be allowed to devolve into the histrionic call response buffoonery on display here.
"You are wrong and my repsonse to your indiscretion of rhought is to respond with histrionics designed to make your opinion look like a threat "
I like her, shes very honest for one of these types, she sees the direct opportunity here to prosecute her political enemies for non compliance.
The visciousness behind it, we must all join team feminist and only then we will be safe
      Or else...
Peoples who qualification is only there self perceived identity should really not be seen as experts on the basis they have a characteristic.
This is so common, its gone from ..celebrity figure also has experience of extreme sexism growing up in very religious household so maybe has opinion on the issue to "i am.the celebrity whose celebrity is based solely on the fact ive met a few sexist men , my dad, my uncle and grandpa were all sexist and hated girls therefore my pain is now also yours, "i am now made expert by unresolved trauma."
They ARE their protected characteristic and only that and they seem to think its a job.
      Thousands of them.
      Professional autistic anxious apocalyptic teenager?
      Meet greta.
      Professional person of colour?
Meet a whole cast of protected characteristics.
Its a supposition we are all stupid above anything else.
Theres a network or media people all agreeing that debate on every topic is a devolving horrorshow of shaming and neurosese orchestrated by a single minded adult toddler.
Be it a tessa, or a femi, or a starmer, or a shola abambigbambu, high pitched yearning ,alarmist, histrionic, accusatory twerps amd they are everywhere.
There are people who are very capable of defending feminism these days, especially in light of the trans stuff but this honking, patriarchy obsesssed ,patriarchy enabled would be matron of all men of earth is most definitely not it.
