You are a genius 😍 after 50+ yrs of crocheting, you shown me the perfect way to join the grannies. Thank you so much . I will never use any other method agian 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Wow this is so pretty,I really liked the way you’ve joined the squares and will be making this for my granddaughter, thanks so much from Cape Town South Africa🇿🇦
Love this design. I would like to make one with black as the main colour. And is it possible to do the sleeves with just single crochet or double crochet as I want it to be less colorful?
This is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for this tutorial. I'm fairly new to crocheting. I'd like to order the Hobbi Baby Cotton Organic Mercerized yarn which is super fine. Do you think it's too thin? Should I use thicker yarn?
If you would like to use the other type of yarn you might have to do the sample and measure the measurements of each square. If your square is the same size as mine, you can then use the same pattern reference. If not you might have to use less or more squares for your top. The important is the first square 😊
@@pomcloset2871 I see, thank you so much! I haven't bought the yarn yet because I'm not sure which one I should use. All I know is that I can't tolerate wool and even some acrylics, so my best bet is to stick with cotton.
Beautiful sweater. I love all of your work and videos. I do see that you use a 2.5 4mm hook. But what side are you using of the hook, I am trying to figure it out and I think it is the 2.5 side, but not sure. Thank you. Have a wonderful day. xx
Thank you for your interest. I have the gold needle, which is 4mm crochet hook. It's the same as 2.5 ,3mm hook, depending on the yarn you are using. It got written on the label of the yarn.😉⚘️
This top/sweater is not for a heavy Winter wear. I used 4ply as it's for spring/autumn season. You can always use any type of yarn to make the top. The square will be another measurements of course. Make 1 square by using your yarn then measure it before making the sweater 🌞💐
@@ly2940 you can use any crochet hook with any yarn but the square might be different size from mine. You have to do 1 square first then measure it before making the garment 😊

Is the neckline tight? Like is it hard to pull over the head?
Great job!

New subscriber...BRAVO!!!❤❤❤
Thanks for subbing!
Finally! It’s here👏🏿💓🌹
Thank you for your interest. xoxo
For me, the most laziest aspect of crocheting is when i have to join pieces
me too 😅
And weave all ends 🤯
Instead of weaving them all in there are ones where you crochet as you go granny squares. I forget what's it's called.
I know dear. It took me ages🤧
Looks amazing! I’ll try it along with the skirt 💕
Feel free to do so and share the works on my ig afterwards if you can ☺️🌷
Of course! Already following you here and on ig 😍😍😍
Love this design. I would like to make one with black as the main colour. And is it possible to do the sleeves with just single crochet or double crochet as I want it to be less colorful?
I would use the dc as the grannysquares will remain the same size. If you use sc it will be completely different size🌞⚘️
Hermosisimo😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Cotton is easy to work with. I also love the results in every works I have done with cotton yarn 🧶😊

You too⚘️🙂🌞
Hi would you say double knit would make this too a heavy sweater ? I presume that’s why you have used 4 ply ? Many thanks and thanks for sharing..

How many colors did you end up using? I'm sorry if you said that in the video. I love this!
I'm not sure😁. Maybe 10. I use all my left over yarn ⚘️
@@pomcloset2871 ok. I'll make them when I have a lot of scraps. Or I'll but a lot of small skeins lol
my wife would like to know for other sizes do you have to also add extra squares for the sleeves too??
That's right. Add more squares to make the top fit the size as well as for the sleeves 🌷
For the person who did ask for the crochet hook, I wrote it down on the description. It's 2.5"-4". XOXO
Hi, can i also use 100% acryl wirh hook number 5?
@@ly2940 you can use any crochet hook with any yarn but the square might be different size from mine. You have to do 1 square first then measure it before making the garment 😊
How many squares do you use fir this plz
I’m a beginner and will attempt this!
How many rows do I add for a medium/ large size?
For M please add 1 more squares on each row. L add 2-3 squares of each row 😉🌷
@@pomcloset2871 thank you so much ! And thank you for the amazing tutorial! You make it easy to follow the steps.
One more question please, for medium or large should we also add pieces to the sleeves?
@@pomcloset2871 Thank you very much for adding this information!
Those yarn brands in your tutorial are unfamiliar to me, are they category 4-weight cotton yarns? Or category 3-weight? Thank you.
You can use any yarn with crochet hook no 3-4 mm🙃⚘️
Is the neckline tight? Like is it hard to pull over the head?
Not tight at all if you have the same amount of stitches like mine 🌷
I love this but feeling a little confused with how to do the neck ribbing
Do fpdc, bpdc on each sts and repeat☺️⚘️
Per che taglia è questo maglioncino? Grazie
This fits size s-m but you can add more granny squares to fit your size. xo
