im a beginner in crochet. i started like 1 wk ago in crochet, but now im in my 5th square (using your pattern). im really grateful of how it turned out, i promise to tag u when i finish my cardigan using your pattern. thank you.
I've been searching for the actual originator of this lovely cardigan! So many are just using your picture as click bait and they just show other photos. So glad I found you! I’m going to try this!
The way you so effortlessly started working that magic circle was mesmerizing, before I even finish groaning after reading magic circle in the caption your little fairy fingers made it look so easy
Just finished mine and it turned out really pretty. It does look big during the process but the ribbing will make it fit nicely. I also added another row of squares at the bottom of the body to make it full size instead of cropped. It's perfect :)
@@sophiafritz1760 Yes they were too short for me but being tall (180cm) I have long arms. So I forgot to mention I added a few rows to the sleeves before adding the ribbing
I loved making this cardigan. I just finished mine using DK yarn instead so did more rounds but made sure i ended up close to the measurements. It looks amazing. Thank you for sharing your amazing pattern 🫶🏽💕
Hey so I actually found your pattern on pintrest and I was looking for a perfect autumn themed cardigan and when I saw this pattern I fell in LOVE I started crocheting in March of 2023 and I just new this pattern would be perfect for me so thank you
Thank you so much for putting this pattern out!! I just love the look! I’m doing light pink and sage green in each square so it looks checkered! I’m using sparkle rose buttons and adding flower pockets!
@@nicolecartine6208 it honestly turned out so stinkin cute!!! 🥰 I wish you luck, it was definitely mind numbing making so many dang squares and then sewing them all together but i promise it’s so worth it!

I saw this and was like, " I HAVE to make this!" I make a lot of blankets and I need to crochet something else for a change and I thought that this cardigan was the perfect choice!!!
I started this last August 2022, made the squares too big, undid the lot and now on the ribbing in September 2023. I'm not scared of making things right, it's a learning curve after all!
this was my first sweater ever i’m in love 😍 i used the M/L measurements, i probably could have made a Small but i decreased the waistline before adding the ribbing and it turned out really nice, oversized yet cinched 🤎
What was the finished measurement on the medium/large size that you made? I did not see the measurements in the pattern. I am looking to make one for someone with a 36" chest. It is a great pattern and would be something different and cute for a 17 year old.
you can easily calculate them yourself. the panels all have the same number of granny squares. just the size of the granny squares are different depending on the size.
It took me months haha but I finally finished my cardigan last night 🥹 the sleeves are a little to big because I choose M/L instead of XS/S but its cozy and I love it! 😍

@@dimpin8316 acrylic yarn is fine I think, it's definitely more affordable! It's just not the best yarn in terms of being made from plastic, the yarn is sometimes rougher on your fingers than wool, and the resulting jumper won't be as breathable (might be more sweaty and hot). Basically you can definitely make it out of acrylic! But I'm sure looking up the characteristics of different kinds of yarn for specific projects would be a good place to start. For example, wool might be more suited to a clothing and acrylic might be more suited to non-clothing projects. It depends on what you are looking for from the yarn (price, look, feel, etc)

Please help me. Your diagram on your website got me confused. It shows a 2 squares long sleeves. However, your pictures show 3 squares long sleeves. Is there something off here or with the front and back panels?
The first square (the one on her shoulder) is not part of the sleeve, it is part of the front, but because it’s an oversized cardigan the front goes over her shoulder. Hope that makes sense.
Me: i want to do a lot of crochet projects but i'm yarngry i can't afford a set of hook and yarns yet , I GIVE UP! Saw your blog 🧐😍 Also me : 😅 just kidding... I MEAN OH MY GOSH , YOU INSPIRE ME 💖😘
Don't know if this helps but some charity shops sell hooks and yarn, I've got some of mine from there, some even have a stand that sells them now, £1.50 for a hook, 1.50 to £1 .75 for balls of yarn, happy crotcheting 😊
Love this cardigan. I have same granny square already made from another pattern. Does somebody maybe know what the sizes are of the front and back panel squares and the sleeve squares? I would love to make this cardigan with the granny squares I already have!
