I just bought one to put under the tree for myself. I know my daughter would never buy me yarn because she thinks I have too much. There is no such thing as too much yarn! Heaven forbid! Thanks Crystal for yet another enabling video! 😅❤️🧶
I agree. There is NEVER TOO MUCH YARN!
My daughter tells the very same thing every time we go to Hobby Lobby (almost every Saturday) She tells me to use the so many balls of yarn I already have and make something!😂
We love making Mystery Bags almost as much as we love watching you open them, Crystal! Thank you for all you do to inspire crochet and yarn addicts like ourselves. 😉You're amazing 🙌 Love that you encourage sharing and gifting yarn. ❤
I’m looking for a link to your shop 😊
I like mystery yarns because I get yarns I never thought of using or I donate to my church’s crochet/knitting group ❤
Crystal- I love that you are so generous with people that are on fixed income. I enjoy watching you open Mystery Bags! I feel as though I'm opening them with you! Thank you so much. ❤️ I'm still going to make my son a stitch Sampler Beanie. He saw me watching the tutorial and said , " Oh Mom, I really like that Beanie!" So, only child, dang right I'm gonna make him one asap. Bless you and yours Crystal! ❤
I agree. It’s good that she does. She helps them and they are able to keep crocheting or knitting. Crafting is great fun, therapeutic and just plain a blessing.
@pattiripley7599 Yes definitely. I'm disabled and picked up crochet after 50 years away...I am loving it. Bless you for Christmas and New Year.❤️🙏🏼
hmmmmm🤔, . . .how old is he(if I may ask🤗)? YOU sure "did somethin' right"! . . .'a young guy asking for a HOMEMADE/handmade beanie?👍 That's exciting! [I loved your last comment!]
Definitely the teal...from the middle and border with the dark teal for the pop! I love it.
I adore the teal version of the Whirl and Whirlette. I used to dislike the thinner yarn. Then I started making shawls. Now I like working with it. lol
Definitely the teal for the shawl. Beautiful yarn.
OMG who would ever think mystery bags/boxes were a waste😮. Love me a mystery lol
I love when you open your mystery bag/boxes. I like seeing what you get. Whoever said it's a waste, what do they know.
The happiness that those mystery bags bring you is absolutely all that matters. ❤
Fabulous mystery bags! I reckon the peach/pink would be best as a shawl. I love it!
I LOVE the blue yarn in a cake!! For a shawl I personally would do the dark center to the white and then add the little ball of the dark!! That will be absolutely BEAUTIOUS!!!
Merhabalar Kardeşim Bende geldim, Videolarınız çok güzel, Emeğinize sağlık, Takipteyim 👍🔔👈👈
You’re right, a beautiful shawl out of that. I think I would do that. I might even knit it. I’m a slow knitter but that is soooo pretty.
Crystal, you are such a sweet person. You have taught so many people to make such beautiful things. You are so sweet to help others in your community who may not be able to afford yarn. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Crystal, I love the mystery bags videos, I get to live vicariously through you, I enjoy all your content ❤
I love watching you open mystery bags. And I love even more you’re generosity with people.❤️❤️
Hi happy Friday Crystal 😄
Playing with yarn is so relaxing! Thanks!
Yarn is yarn. Creative minds will make use of mystery bags, its never a waste! Love what you share, Crystal! You are awesome!
I would never get to see all these yarns if you didn't do mystery bags. Your videos bring me joy. Thank you
The blue gradient would be beautiful in a project 💙
Hello, sweet girl. It is wonderful to see you smiling! You bring joy to my heart. Thank you for being here for us. Thanks for the vidro as well
I just learned how to do the granny square with your tutorial. Thank you.
i just sat with a friend who wanted to learn how to make a granny square and pulled up an older video! It worked great.
Just finished watching - I love the peachy pink Whirl. Perhaps you can crochet a bit and then send it out to someone to finish it so your hands don’t hurt. That shawl would sure match your current room deco. Btw you look awesome in that shade of pink. Take care. ❤❤❤
I’m like you. I LOVE a good mystery bag! If I can’t use it, I’ll give it to a friend. She can’t use it, she’s giving it away to her friends. If she doesn’t need it then I donate it to the senior center here in town. Mystery bags are awesome!
I feel that it’s not a waste ! I love the mystery bags and I also like the bags that has the Mills ends.
I love mystery yarn. I'm gonna start buying them after the first to the year. Christmas is too much right now with twenty three grand kids
23 grands...that's a lot of love!! How wonderful
I would use the teal yarn to make a shawl. I think it's awesome that you give yarn to people that are on fixed and or low incomes. You are a very generous woman!!
Oh the teals are so gorgeous 💙
Thank you for letting me shop vicariously through you!
Pretty in pink👍🏼❤️
Those Whirls are gorgeous! I wouldn't choose between them, I would make two shawls, but that's just me. They are too pretty to choose just one.
The teal is the one I'd choose for myself 😍 Awesome mystery bags!!
Ooooooo, pretty. I absolutely love the coral set!
Recycled plastic yarn is amazing! What a great way to reuse plastic! I’d use the blue set starting with the dark and end with the light and edge with the blue against the light but whatever you choose will be beautiful! ❤❤❤
That peach one looks like a sunset. So pretty ❤
GM Crystal! Simple this may be, but WOW, "GO-geous"...to coin your own phrase! I KNOW, thru you I can do this! Happy Gal here and Thank You❣️
I would love to see a shawl made with the teal ❤
I think Chocolate & Blackberry look great together!😃💜
Crystal, that would be hard to choose, both colorways are beautiful! I'd do the blue starting with the dark to light and do a fancy border with the dark, make it pop/stand out. I also think the blue, brown, cream would make a great stripped beanie. Thanks for showing us. Have a great day!🩵
Chrystal
I like when you get sooo excited ! You say you are a nerd I am a Canadian nerd
I am super excited that you are getting two “crayon boxes “ yarn when you sad that I said Yes !! Yes!!
Whoop whoop yahooo
Love your videos
🙋🏽♀️. Fr 🇨🇦
I love to buy yarn. I may have it for awhile and not use it, but eventually I will give it to someone who will use it. The fun is in the buying. Buying mystery bags is a way to get yarn that you would never buy because of the price. Love all the yarn.
I would choose the blue for me but the pinks would look good on you!
Hi Crystal! Those are great mystery bags! The yarn is beautiful! I agree with you that it's the surprise of a mystery bag that makes it fun 😃 I think the blue Whirl yarn would make a pretty shawl but that's because blue is one of my favorite colors lol The coral is pretty too though. Have a great weekend! God bless you!
those colors are beautiful! I've wondered about that brand and this might be a good opportunity to try it.
Thank you for sharing your love of yarns and crocheting projects. Knitting is a life-long live of mine but I also like crocheting but am not very good at it. I am 83 years old and started crocheting later in life. Was trying to find your tutorials fir caps but was not able to locate them. Trying to crochet some caps for grandsons and Native American Christian schools. It looks like crocheting is faster than Knitting. Thank you ❤
Hi Crystal. I love your tutorials, and Im saving a long list. Im a new crocheter, and you are the best teacher. I crocheted so much I wound up with tendinitis in my thumb, so I had to stop for a while, but I still watch your videos. I can't wait to start up again. By the way, you are adorable and such a beautiful soul. ❤❤❤❤
Love your attitude! How kind and generous of you to give your yarn away. Bless you!
I enjoy watching you open the mystery bags and learning about new yarns and yarn stores. I confess, I’ve never ordered one. Anytime I get close(because of your videos), I chicken out.
Mystery bags from this company is always great. Love the yarns you received.
An awesome set of Mystery Bags . Love the cakes . I can't say the name either , I won't even try to spell them . The cakes has had me wanting some for years . Some day I will have some and all the Beautiful colors . I like the Coral a Middle better , but I like the Blue also . I see I am not the only one to have trouble picking a favorite . Love and Hugs .
Thanks for showing us your mystery bags. Your right it is the mystery in it that matters, the excitement. Like you said you don’t always get what you would use but I believe like you, it is nice to bless others with things that they would like but may not be able to get. I believe it’s as much a blessing to the giver as it is for the receiver and even more so if it can be done without the receiving person not knowing who the giver is, though it’s not always possible to do that. Crystal, have a wonderful evening and weekend. You are a true blessing to all of us that get to learn the knowledge that you have about yarn and crocheting. You are very very appreciated for all that you do for us yarny people. ❤️
Now that's my kind of mystery bag! Either of the whirl colourways would make a lovely shawl. I like the blue for a simple daytime shawl and the peach for a delicate lacy shawl. I can't pronounce Scheepjes and forget how it's supposed to be pronounced 2 seconds after I hear it. Before I heard anyone say it out loud, I thought that the "j" would be pronounced as an "i" like in the word, "fjord" so I was saying "sheepies" and thought that was a cute name for wool yarn 😆
Hi Crystal, I’m with you I love a good mystery bag. You never know what you’re gonna get and you never know what yarn you’re gonna experience from it.
Hi Crystal. Wow, I have never used that yarn before, but I do Love that brand of yarn! That colorway is very lovely. I love the brand of yarn even though it is a little more than most. Plus, the blue yarn DK is very lovely. DK is one of my favorite weight. Beautiful Blue. Thanks for sharing your yarn haul. Very nice!
Crystal I didn’t know about mystery boxes/bags until I started watching you. I live them. You got me hooked. Thanks. I just ordered one from dots. Keep enlightening me.
I think the blue and brown Truly Scrumptious would look very nice together... Chocolate covered blackberry. ❤
Definitely that peach would be beautiful.
The whirl and whirlett are beautiful! I love both combos in the bag! I always love blue. The pink/yellow make me think of spring!
OMG ❤ both GORGEOUS 💙 but I Love blues 😊 Thank you Crystal blessings to all have a great day
Teal is so beautiful! ❤
I like mystery bags, I like slots, I like to crochet thanks Crystal
Love watching you open mystery bags! I don't buy them much, so I live vicariously through you purchases. I like the blues for a shawl.
I'm one of those who don't like mystery bags (because I can be picky!!). I love the pattern on your hat. Love the yarn in both of those bags.
Thank you for sharing your Mystery Bags with us! It’s obvious they make you so happy. I like slots too, but prefer table games. 🤭 Have a great weekend!!
Ohh!! The coral would be a gorgeous spring shawl
Yes those colors all would be a beautiful hat
I appreciate you so much Crystal! You have wonderful tutorials, and I tell people about your tutorials all the time and a lot of people love you and I will continue to send your tutorials to people. Please keep up the good work.
I love the teal one but the other one is pretty.
Definitely the blue ❤
A lot of people think those little Shepjes (I probably misspelled that) Bon Bons are just a waste to get.... but they are actually GREAT if you want to make a really ecclectic Granny Square afgan (or tote, throw rug, etc). You can generally use one Bon Bon per "normal" size Granny square (along with your main color). A friend of mine that doesn't crochet bought me one of those massive sized Shepjes Bon Bon boxes (like 120 little balls of 25-28 yds). Of course I was very thankful, but I was thinking... what on earth am I going to make with such tiny little balls of yarn? LOL! So together with an off-white main color, a skein of bright yellow Red Heart Super Saver, and that box of Bon Bons I ended up with a beautiful full size afghan. I used the yellow for the center of every granny - just to tie them all together, then one ball of Bon Bon's per square (2 separate rounds). So my Granny's were 5 rounds each: Yellow, Bon Bon, off-white, Bon Bon, off-white.
Always love Mystery Bags ❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗!
I love the two whirl and whirllettes. Peach is my fave. Happy crocheting!
I like the blue it's so vibrant.
Thank pinky one would make something beautiful for Evelyn Rose.❤ The teal color is gorgeous. One of my favorite colors.
Oh my, I ❤❤❤ that teal! My favorite color!
I love the mystery bags and it makes me experience new yarns
I love the surprise of the mystery bags! I use most of them & give thin ones away. God Bless you and your family 🙏
The small skeins of yarns are great for crochet flowers, little crochet hearts, etc. Enjoy! Pretty colors she sold to you.
Grats Crystal.. you are featured on their home page.. lol. love the mystery bags/boxes .. got 4 from aberdeen wool co. today. not my usual yarn, but outside the box and will use them.
I love mystery bags.❤
I would choose the blue yarn for the shawl. I ordered a small bag from Dots again this year. I got 3 skeins of Scrumptious in Blueberry Parfait, Chai Shortbread & Custard Pie which really all go well together. Also a pretty purple Terrazzo & Lavender Cahlista. All nice yarns. I believe next year I'll go for the large bag!
I love the fade on the peach but the teal speaks to me❤
So fun! I love mystery bags.
Those had some gorgeous high quality yarn and I had several ideas right off the bat what I would make with them when you showed us.
That's one of the fun things with mystery bags. It is a boost to creativity. Trying something new without having to spend a lot of money.
I choose which mystery bags I buy very carefully. I like natural fibers, so I only buy the natural fiber ones. I like 4 weight and under yarn, so I dont buy the bulky bags.
But sometimes I do want to try something new and then will go for the completely random ones. It's fun. It makes me think about new types of projects. It can result in beautiful new items.
I love the cotton mill ends from Herrschners. I dont care what color, I will use all of them. The surprise is like Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, I ordered 5 mystery bags from Herrschners and Hobbii, and told my husband those are my birthday and Christmas presents this year. I have not peeked. I cant wait to open them and see what I got. Saved him trying to decide what to get and I am super excited to see what they are, even though I know what they are. Lol. Just not colors and stuff.
The temptation to sneak into the guest bedroom and have a look is high. I actually did open the first two I had ordered before the 5 with the intention of waiting till Christmas. Lol. Bad me. I of course love them. Hes keeping these other 5 well away from me. Lol.
That whirl is gorgeous! I love mystery boxes! I wouldn’t mind using recycled bottle yarn to help keep plastic out of the environment!
That is gorgeous yarn ❤
Love your unboxing no matter what they’re. Love the Sheepies whirls.
Thanks to you...I'm addicted to mystery boxes...slots too..
Oh my Gosh that Whirl is beautiful 😍. Don't think I've ever had it.
Her mystery bags are awesome
I love watching you open mystery boxes!!
I agree, also think being introduced something new is good. 😊
LOL, Crystal, you sound like me!!! "I might just have to let my hands hurt! ". I also can't work with the very thin 1-2 wt yarns anymore (which kills me because I used to crochet doilies with VERY thin cotton threads). BUT, every once in awhile I will get a thin 2 wt yarn (mostly through mystery bags) and it's just too darn pretty NOT to make a shawl with. I get like halfway through and "yell" at myself because I just KNEW how much it was going to hurt, and it did. But then I finish and it's just so pretty!
Crystal, I love your channel. I have learned so much about crocheting and yarn from you. THANK YOU
I love the blue.
I love mystery bags!! I buy a lot of mystery bags, they are so fun to get and see what’s in it.
Nice bags! That choc and blackberry would be awesome together.
Mystery bags are like Christmas! If you don’t like them, then share. Thank you Crystal.
I. Love. Mystery. Bags!! 🧶🧶They're gifts to myself...or someone I know. 😁🤭🥰
The mystery bags were awesome. I would make a shawl from the coral yarn.❤😊
