I find it extra helpful when you compare the various Ice yarns to ones that might be more familiar to us. Definitely gorgeous colors in this batch 💜🥰
I love ice yarn. I can get great yarn quicker from them than from premier which is only 800 miles away. Great wool and alpaca blends including air freight less than most domestic stores.

Let's call that dark brown/black color "burned hickory," ok? So pretty! As I've gotten older and started to learn wool spinning I've noticed my wool sensitivity is a lot like yours. What others may find scratchy I'm fine with! Lots of love & hugs!

I love the yarns you ordered. I can’t knit or crochet fast enough to make all I want to make. Then which pattern do I make lol.I do love my blues and the self striping yarns that were roving . I really want to order from Ice Yarns 😮
I have 5 hanks of a really beautiful gold that merino, cashmere and the nylon or whatever it is. I’m not sure what to make with it.
Loved the first cake yarn you should. That is gorgeous colors in it. That fouls make a gorgeous sweater for my great granddaughter. I prefer my yarns to have bling in them. I use to just go to Ice Yarns and look at all the yarns. Pure yarn envy.. if course the Picasso will always be my favorite from them. If only it had bling, lol. Great yarn haul. ❤❤❤❤❤

orange park fl here.. just outside of jaclsonville.. we're digging in! have had tons of rain (today none)so it soaked in a bit.. mostly worried about the wind. ❤❤🌹
I’ve also been on the search for the perfect Tiffany Blue lately. Eddie Bauer Wool-Paca has a shade that is close. I made a dress out of it ( one of yours actually) and it was very itchy, even though it was a dream to work with and didn’t irritate me at all as I was working it up. But you say you’re not very sensitive so you might have a better outcome than I did. Can’t wait to see what you find. I agree that this one is not quite a match.

Hi Crystal, like the name Yarn Junkie. I just wound up the two skeins of Purls silk mohair Tussock yarn so, all ready to make the scarf with the Novela yarn. Going to try and finish the Brioche scarf with the Hedgehog Fibers yarn first. Although I don't knit with acrylic yarn, it's fun to watch you showcase the yarns.

I love Ice Yarns...I order from them all the time. I'm actually working on that picot crown wrap you featured using the Sparkle yarn from IY. You used black, but mine is this beautiful copper color. I lately have been buying their Tencel yarn. I love it so much! And shipping is not an issue for me because the yarn is so wonderfully priced!

Love ice yarns! Shipping to San San Diego is usually on point. Based on prices & quality of the yarns, usually save $40+. Sometimes big box stores are so pricey!

HOWEVER, I’m a gifter…. For my gifts, I NEED machine wash/dry - low heat is fine.
It would be so very helpful to me to know if your yarns “say” machine wash/dry on the label. If you already do this, please disregard. Thanks for what you do!
Those rainbow solid only came in those two colors this year. Last year they only had rainbow solid in cream.
I'm using the dark brown with some very saturated Autumn-y colors of last year's Rainbow, and it's looking great.
That's pretty blue, but they called it green, my favorites colors are purple, blue and a bright orange (like a neon orange, marker orange- not pumpkin or carrot)

Oh, you must try them! The shipping is a flat rate (~$17) but you can't find quality yarn at their price, as opposed to Amazon, JoAnn, Michael's, even Walmart. Plus, you get your order lickety-split, lol. No kidding, and all the way from Istanbul, Turkey! I've ordered so much from them, I ought to own stock in their company!😅

Love that you call this yarn Junkie, that's me too totally addicted to feeling yarn. My problem is sometimes I see a good yarn on sale Buy a bunch of it, and then later, I realize I don't like it as well as I thought I would, I might need to sell some of my yarn. I have never ordered from ice before. I'm very curious. I am concerned about the shipping but their yarn prices look good and I really love some other sparkly Yarns, i might have to try it sometime.

Thanks for sharing. I love Ice yarns, I learned about them from you. The Lynn yarn and melange look very nice. Magic glitz went down alot in quality and it's super thin now, like a #2 weight the one they sent me in the pastel rainbow colorway some months ago. I am wondering if they tried improving the quality of magic glitz now? How thin was this magic glitz now that you bought? thanks

Love Ice Yarns, I'm not sure about the USA, In Canada, we not only pay for shipping, but we have to pay $20 - $25. Duty on the top of the order.
Aw, that's a bummer. Here in U.S., no duty tax. The shipping for me is a flat rate, a little over $17. I don't mind, tho, cos their yarn prices are outstanding!😊

Crystal... have you checked into Herrschner's Worsted 8 yarn color Seaspray to see how close it comes to the Tiffany Blue you are looking for? And just an FYI their worsted 8 yarn is on sale right now .
