I wouldn't know half these yarns exist if it wasn't for you showing us there is more than just box store yarns. You show me there are more options out there. I enjoy learning about them, knowing prices, fibers and where to get them. You have broadened my horizons as to what is out there. So don't listen to people who are so negative. I'm on a fixed income, and I want quality and if I have to spend a little more for it so be it. I wouldn't know about them with out you. So don't let those idiots get you down. Your a beautiful person! You have shared your knowledge for free, so what if you want to buy nice yarn for yourself or to give to someone who can't afford it themselves. Your good people.

Crystal, you are always showing us the best of you. We, your yarny family know when you are down and we immediately feel for you. You wear your feelings on your face and in your voice and guess what we really do not know you but we feel like we do and the part you show us we love! People in this world today get behind a computer or a phone screen and feel empowered to put people that they do not know down. These people who are obviously not happy with their life is trying to make you unhappy.

Negative comments say more about the person commenting than whoever they are talking about. You have nearly 1 million people who enjoy seeing all yarns, who enjoy what you have to say, who enjoy hearing about your family and fur babies. They can just switch you off if they don’t like it. Ignore those comments, you owe them no explanation. You channel is a part of many people’s day and we appreciate all the time and effort you put in. Sending love and gratitude.
Just wanted to say, thank you for making the videos featuring the higher-end yarns. I learn so much about the yarns, that I would not have access to otherwise. I think about how important and closely intertwined (wink) yarn is to humanity. I think about the value of yarn over centuries, not just monetary value, but cultural value and one of the most basic needs, warmth. Please know that some few ignorant and selfish people could never diminish your contributions to the community.
Also, thank you for teaching me the crochet! The first stitch I learned was from your extended single crochet tutorial, and the second was the open oyster stitch. You literally taught me what to do! THANK YOU

Ive watched about half your unboxings so far and loving each one. Ive saved a bunch of your tutorials to make in the future. Ive watched hundreds of your videos so far, some multiple times, and I am so happy I have many more to watch.
To be super honest, your videos are helping me through intense grief. One of my sisters who I helped raise and who was as much my child as my sister, chose to exit the planet early in 2022 due to severe medical issues. 3rd bout of cancer as well as other debilitating autoimmune diseases. 3 weeks later my darling furbaby, 11 years old, suddenly passed away. She was my constant companion and my baby. You are helping me smile again and find purpose and joy in my life again.
You are a bright shining light of good. You will never know the extent of how many people you reach and touch and help. Every view of each of your videos is someone you touch. I bet that has to be hundreds of millions of views now. You are amazing.
I am so sorry for your loss. Yarn, knitting, crocheting, connecting through this beautiful craft is a great balm for the hurting soul. I think it is something about the motion of the needle(s) and the knowledge you are making something a loved one will be wrapped up in that is magic and healing. The high end yarns are amazing and even if you weren’t planning to give them away, you get to choose what you spend your money on- no one else. Keep being you, because you are perfectly you!
Crystal, I love your videos and your yarn unboxings. I can't purchase all of the beautiful yarns that you buy, and that's perfectly fine, I still love seeing it and I save my pennies so that I can buy plenty of the yarns that I use regularly. Anyone who feels they have the right to talk badly of anyone else does so because of their own insecurities. Maybe their insecurity is jealousy, but that still doesn't give them a right to be cruel. You have worked so hard to get to where you are and you have done it without constantly asking people to shop from affiliated links or from only one specific yarn company who "sponsors" you with tons of their free yarn. I so admire you doing this and I will be here cheering loudly (good lord willing) when you get that Million subscribers, because I can't think of a soul who deserves it more than you do. You are so kind and so giving and too many people just can't believe that you can be as wonderful as you are so they just have to try to knock you down. I hope that you continue to be the shining light that you are. Maybe one day they will remember that trying to blow out your light only dims their own.

Some people are so unhappy with their lives that they seem to need to spread the negative energy around. No one has the right to tell you how to spend your money! You do enough for charity through your auction for the animal shelter, Christmas charity and giving yarn to neighbors. The information you provide on your channel is priceless to a great many of us, and I thank you for sharing your knowledge free of charge. I would love to make a blanket for your auction, but I live on less than $450 a month and can't afford the yarn. I'm trying to save a few dollars a month so I can contribute next year. I love seeing all the different yarns, both high & low end! As far as those critics, all they want is to make themselves feel superior and ruin your day. Many of them spend their time jumping from site to site playing the game. They get some sort of sick thrill from it. Most of us love all that you do for us and others. Just keep being yourself and ignore those negative people. You wouldn't be close to a million subscribers if we all didn't think you were wonderful.

As someone who lives in rural Canada with limited access to local shops to go touch and feel and of course sniff yarn for myself I love that people like you are out there doing it for me. I love yarn but with limited funds have to be very purposeful in what I purchase so I love your unboxings and opinions on different yarns. it helps me decide what i want to order. also it’s no one’s business what you spend you money on for either yourself or your business.

But then there are those that lead such a miserable life and they will bully you until you break or until they get their way. It's happened time and time again. The easiest way is to kill them with kindness, and you do that well. Words hurt especially when all you do is try to show everyone what's out there and share your love in the yarny world. I will truly miss your yarn reviews. As I am from rural Canada it is hours to the nearest Michaels-hearing your opinions helped me when I had to order on line for softness, stitch definition etc. Thankyou for all your tutorials, you have been an immense help to me.

I just finished my first project in 17 years, a merino silk blend knit pullover for my daughter. I am so happy to have found a gorgeous inexpensive high quality yarn from ice to use for it. Big box store acrylics would have cost 3x as much!
You are wonderful and have helped me get back into knitting and crocheting in a big way. I am bedridden with failing lungs but I can knit and crochet and still be productive. Your enthusiasm really helps me! Your information and opinion and creativity is inspiring.

All of the luxury yarns you buy help small farmers, small spinners, small hand dyers. Thats far more impactful than giving to a charity. Even if it didnt, its no ones business what you buy, and WE LOVE seeing the beautiful luxury yarns.
People dont understand that even buying super luxury items actually feed families of those who make the things, and them buying the products to make the things help feed the families of those employees, and on down the whole supply chain. That has vastly more impact than just giving the money to a charity. Giving people a job to support their families is the very best thing you can do, far more productive than just giving the money to someone.
Remember it goes back to "give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him to fish and he will eat for a lifetime."
Your tutorials help people clothe their families, keep them warm, and they can make products to sell to help feed their families.
You are fantastic and a beautiful soul. Evil people cannot stand to see beautiful, kind, lovely, giving people like you. Hopefully your kindness will eventually touch their hearts and they will improve themselves.

I love watching your yarn videos, I’m in the UK and have no idea these yarns exist. I love your excitement when you get a new yarn, you describe the yarn perfectly, my family only buy me “scarfable” yarns, I don’t get on with wool so I need your input on how the yarn feels. I can’t understand how people can bee so downright mean and rude! They are just jealous and black and evil to their core! It amazes me how brave these people are behind a keyboard. Please don’t take it to heart, you are loved very much by almost 1 million of us! Keyboard warriors are the worst. What you spend your money on doesn't concern anyone else. You are providing knowledge to us about yarns we don't see in box stores and I appreciate it. Honestly I would rather buy $100 yarn to make a sweater filled with love then give more money to name brand companies. Please keep doing you and I am learning so much. I plan on getting myself some for my 50th birthday in a couple of Months. I don't live in the US and guess what? This yarn is not that expensive over here and Im thankfull you showed it in the last Video. Otherwise i would not know about it. I started crochet about two years ago, and Chrystal you helped me so much with your tutorials!! Even though english is not my native language. I can't follow anybody elses tutorials so easily!!!
