If you can take anything from this remember; don't try to control people; control YOURSELF and people will have no choice but to change.

    1. Self Image, how we see ourselves
    2. Others perceptions, we cling to what other people think and protect it,
Ex. If people think were successful, well hide anything that shows other wise
    3. What we know to be true
    Four stages of learning
    Unconscious Incompetence
    Conscious Incompetence
    Conscious Competence
    Unconscious Competence,
Between stages 2 and 3, If someone finds something they find that contradicts with their viewpoint they might try to deleted it
It’s called trance logic, we resist what people tell us, we don’t resist what we conclude
    4. Reactance, we push back to any belief that or attempt at lost of autonomy
    5. Laziness and Compliance, change your environment because people rely on context for habit, how do you need to be to change and how does the teacher need to be to change the person, the person who holds their stance the longest is the person with control

Wow, this is exactly what I have been experiencing this past year. My becoming aware of my resistance or reluctance of truth, my development to KNOW and speak the truth. It is the most silently powerful. I can even force the truth onto others through any of their resistance and watch as they are handcuffed in their intent to respond.

Fantastic information. Wish I had learned this stuff years ago. You are fantastic and I thank you for any and all the knowledge you have to convey. This stuff answers many of my unanswered questions I’ve had for years. I work in healthcare and have always been into alternative therapies (reiki, hypnosis, acupuncture, meditation, Ti Chi). I now understand why, I and others act and resist things. Yes, I’m certified in hypnotherapy and have not been that successful. Your training makes this stuff clear to me now. Kudos to you, I will devour any and all trainings you offer on TH-cam. Wow, thank you so much.

We instinctively resist anything that threatens:
    1. Who I am, who I'm perceived as ie self-identity
    2. How others see me (image)
3:53 how much would you change for? At the point you say no, this is what this problem in your life is worth
    5:49 4 stages of learning (unc inc→con inc→*con com→unc com)
*At this point, you adopt the new or delete the experience and go back to ground zero ie the desire to change < pain of change ie trance logic 9:15
You generate a rationale for smth
    3. What you hold/accept to be true 11:36 (usually from age 0-5 experiences)
12:10 We instinctively resist or become reactant to what others tell us, but never to what we conclude
14:20 whatever gets there first has most power ie anything that engages someone's earliest, primal states/memories, the more pervasive the influence you have
    4. 15:21 reactance (unc, reptilian brain) ie we instinctively resist any perceived attempt or loss of personal autonomy
16:30 psychologically likewise to eg free advice, even if it's good advice
17:10 points of greatest resistance can become pojnts of greatest leverage if you build them in persuasive material (presentation, communication)
By aligning on these areas, you'll melt away resistance. Add this to changing patterns within you
    20:00

I've actually been thinking of negativity in general.
I'll exhaust a persons emotion. I've realised a persons emotion will best be exhausted by allowing it to pass within a person through conversation.
Not really personalize their emotion, but recognize they are feeling it, yet not accept to feel it with them.
Eventually a person will pet you know: what you did to stimulate that response, or whether the person is invested in their argument or not.
Subtly giving someone compliments or giving them the benefit of doubt while attacking their negativity and promoting positivity changes the person.
I have diffused situations with thinking the same way you have.

A friend presented this wisdom as following: "If someone gives you a ball, but you don't want that ball. What do you do?" Answer: "you don't take it".
While our mirror neurons reflect upon us unconsciously the mood of our conversation partners, aslong we consciously decide not to pick up on these moods, we may succeed in that. I guess it is also about training and reminding us repeatidly. Yet there are circumstances when empathy is needed and this lesson could be counterproductiv.

Dr Snyder can you increase your sru by just not caring about anyone elses feelings , specifically if you're not hurting yourself or them and you perceive ,any given situation, as a win win?

Billy Joe nope. Much like the bliss-out practice he mentions as useless. The disassociation you’re describing will only train you to become blindsided by things when they are not in your control. You will be reactant to outer stimulation.

Hi 👋 david ☺️😊 final 30 seconds of video 59:00 you concluded - “if we get back in-touch with our bodies we can pretty much influence anyone from anywhere”! 🤓 wait a minute though you also said heart vibrations radiates 8 feet. Big gap between 8 feet and anywhere.. right or right? And this idea of influencing ppl isn’t it manipulative and a form of a spell as in witchcraft in a sense. Please respond. Loves the two videos Ive seen thus far. Best wishes 🌷☀️ Cheers 🥂

May be he is talking about pursuading people in a cue to get frustrated and leave so he can move up a place. You think cold blue and frustrated thoughts and project them onto other. Yes it's manipulation but don't you want to get what you want?

Dr. David Snyder, I think you may want to check out Cleave Baxter (Primary Perception) if you haven't already. When you were talking about how the hearts synchronize, I was reminded about how relative cells can communicate, or interact with each other from a distance.
Cleave Baxter used to be polygraph specialist, and he used the such tech on plants, bacteria, and some dude's white cells. Check this shit, Dr., or others who read this should.

At 31:08 when he says, "All martial arts is another form of communication." It brought me back to NEO in the Matrix when he first fights the rough computer program and then ends it. They then knew what to say and do to teach him further. Do you guys remember? It wasn't the black elder lady that fought him but her assistant. That was the first time I looked at martial arts as a form of communication on another level of how your mind works towards others.

David, You explain reactance as essentially other people’s resistance to being told what to do. However, you suggest telling them how they’re going to see themselves and how others are going to see them. But you’re still telling them these things which will trigger reactance. Do you see the contradiction here? You imply that you’re going to teach us how to engineer other’s choices but then you never really teach us that skill. Could you clarify this once and for all please? Thanks!

Which means you cannot run from yourself either way you have to deal with it. Not this man not me you. We're are reflections of one another because we react off one another we socialize with one another because it is essential for life, our feelings and thoughts, are signal indicators people use as a guide though which makes them react inappropriately often impulsively.

Hi David. I wanted to say that your videos helped pull me out of depression, and that they keep me on the path to becoming who I want to be. I was curious. How does a perpetually incongruent parent influence a child's beliefs? If the mom is teaching that the green circle is a blue triangle, but their body language isn't congruent, how do you think that would affect their belief? Would the child lack conviction behind it? Would they think their mom is a liar and not believe it, keeping an open mind for the truth?

About the video on metronomes - I was looking up videos, and I noticed they are on a table/platform that is hanging and swinging on it's own (albeit very slightly). I haven't found a video without a moveable platform to place the metronomes. Without it, would it just take longer to do (I'm thinking if they were placed on a table, the amount of sway would be greatly decreased by still apparent). What if they were on concrete? I wasn't able to find a video with clocks having pendulums synchronizing.
