the cassie ostrich-like robots adapt, kids can get 3d models to learn to run with AI, i don't understand why rich people want us to believe they suck at dsp here.
I think they need better dexterity examples on this guy. The other robots are handling eggs and doing weird twirlies. Don't worry. Always time to catch up though.
Lol this firm acts like they are on the level of boston dynamics and Tesla. But they are million million miles away from their research. The difficulty isnt the hardware....
What’s a point of building bipedal robot and then forcing it to vacuum? Couldn’t you just build a vacuum cleaner robot and find something more inspiring for the bipedal robot to do?
Same basic principle as power tools with modular batteries. You could have just built the battery (sensor stack, motor stack, processing power) into the drill (vacuum), but now you can easily have just a single battery (robot) that switches between many tools Now you can have a single robotics team at your company working on the single hardest robot problem, versus trying to split up into 10 smaller teams working on 10 different robots However, I do expect that in about 20 years, we'll go back to having super specialized robots, because the skills/talent/hardware will become cheap enough to just make everything a robot. We saw the same thing with smart devices - decades ago you had to connect to your modem to get internet on one device, now even your toothbrush can connect to the internet
The day I see an android walking the streets or inside a business somewhere is the day I'll know we've truly crossed over. It's insane living to see this stuff coming to fruition.
@@AtariWow Wasn't getting into who's where (well aware of BD)...just talking about the day I see any of these actually on the street regardless of who it ends up being.
Most important maneuver that's actually very hard.: walking then coming to a stop and balancing then restart walking. Which you dont see here cause you can tell the gait management (rapid, small steps) is still research grade. Wish them success, but we'll see if they meet the release date.
There are going to be plenty of hazardous environments, think of air polluted areas, radiation exposure or gas leaked areas where human like units can be versatile. This is only the beginning. These are the Ford Model T's of robotics.
For people who don't get the point of a humanoid robot instead of a specific robot like a vacuum robot, these companies are aiming for a robot form capable of doing increasingly more complex jobs like fetching a drink from fridge, helping you hold/ move stuff, washing dishes, folding clothes, cleaning after you, sex, etc etc. All this coming in the realm of possibility due to new ai models. Ofcourse there's a long way to go but all these companies now acknowledge and working towards the same goal.
Thinking along the lines of hospitals or businesses replacing migrant workers. Taking out trash being placed into an automatic receptacle,rl running tbose large floor cleaners. I'm not a fan of replacing people without a plan to train folks on how to maintain the automation first. I would love to have a device that would fold and put away clothes.
Yikes, that guy is taking out all his anger on that poor robot, kicking it that hard. Might even be hard enough to knock down a domino, if he steps it up a tad.
This is to show you that the product is docile, while actual ability is for selected group only. Why? So nobody mind if their factory manufacturing a million of these. And when a million has been produced...well, it's too late to do anything then isn't it?
At others have said why get a humanoid robot to push a floor cleaner when we already have floor cleaning robots, the current crop of humanoid robots are clever but are years away from real world domestic duties, show me a humanoid robot that can load and unload a dishwasher for instance and put all of the bits away in the right locations, not possible, all I've seen so far apart from the Boston dynamics trickery is slow moving walking robots that all walk like they have had an accident in their shorts.
Look we don't really need to worry until they come up with a power supply that will last all you have to do is destroy their charging stations and wait for him to run down wait for the batteries to deplete
Wow, that's a really bad robot..it can walk in straight lines, get kicked softly, and operate a floor polisher ,,, again in a 1d space, what a breakthrough, don't we already have 1 billion Chinese robots that do t really do anything either?
i think it will be cheap, so most buyers will aim for the economic aspect of this. Just like we would consider xiaomi high end smartphone instead of getting a samsung with same chips
The future is here, and the future is cleaning floors! Plus getting kicked from behind cheap shots dev, push it sideways and see, though it most likely it can only stumble forward, can't turn corners or navigate uneven surfaces, sheesh that floor cleaner is probably more advanced than that, so called robot. Isn't it odd that in classical terms God created us in his image, and now we create the new gods in ours?
Its remote controlled...so one robot plus joystick master...2 cleaners...sounds like a great innovation...teens would love this job..when will AI robots appears...I need one to wipe my az
LOL! That is hilarious, knowing the backstory and truth about 90% of China's "tech". This it either took a solid month of filming to aqure scenes that were decent enough to put into this propaganda video, or it took a solid week and athe scenes caught were accidental. p.s., (whispers) Don't be afraid of China.
ClickBait CGI photo of him running... But hes bearly able to stand :D Like he is tapping the robot with the shoe like its made of glass.... Why asians always lie???
I love how the click bait shows the robot in what looks like a full sprint when it actually moves like 3CPO. Looks like a scam to me
Don't need to move fast if fluent in over six million forms of communication.
still an amazing acheivement that warrants due credit, but ya we just haven't cracked the human gait yet.
Lol look at him lightly tapping it 0:38 😂 really confident in your product there
im tapping my human collegues so lightly also 🤣
Boston Dynamics really set the bar on this.
Exactly what I thought
He barely touched it! I've seen much better ones that get thrown around and they can still stand up easily
Right. They push Boston Dynamics robots completely over.
clickbait photo, i thought it was going to run
It's Boston Dynamics. 😅
Play at 10x
Most can run and jump. Atlas, I believe it is called. Toyota has one playing basketball, never missing 80 meter shots.
the cassie ostrich-like robots adapt, kids can get 3d models to learn to run with AI, i don't understand why rich people want us to believe they suck at dsp here.
I still feel like Boston Dynamics is the place to go for apocalyptic robots. Im fascinated.
I think they need better dexterity examples on this guy. The other robots are handling eggs and doing weird twirlies. Don't worry. Always time to catch up though.
I can't walk up a hill like that, my pronation turns my foot in

Check them out. Look how this robot walks
I’m really excited to see how this robot evolves and grows technically! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

@ Wow! thanks that answers it.
rofl no that's not it a central dsp can run many objects. the reason is because of rosie from the jetsons.
Can vacuum cleaner robot move objects that are in the way? Let's say a chair?
@@jaiveersingh5538 thank you for explain that without context would sound incredibly dumb.

Eh, Boston Dynamics had way more impressive demos at least 8 years ago.

Good job, guys.
beautiful robot, nice job.
Why it walk like its counting its steps?
Great you design a robot to buff school floors

EARTHLINGS BE INSPIRED. MEGA AWESOME . 😎😂🖖✌👽
Wouldn't it be easier to just redesign the floor scrubber to be the autonomous "robot"? 🤨
The ultimate product without a doubt
It shows very limited movement. My $100 toy can do this also.
Bantha Pudu! Temu robot.
Exelente traer a Perú
Waiting for a robot flying drone ,like Star wars.
Looks cool - still has a long ways to go before it's useful for anything. It's a good start though...
You can tell the robot has no ground recognition, I'm not sure the head does anything with how stiff and vibrational it was.
Wooooooooow...

Have you seen the SE01 walking. It runs circles around any robot out there. Even Tesla

Por qué el D9 utiliza una aspiradora si la misma aspiradora ya puede ir sola... No es un buen ejemplo...
I had to take a huge shit one time and walked the same way.
Ain't that 'Pudu Q' model?
So many New robot Companies
👌
the movement is very smooth. i just use old dsp not ML, i wonder why it can't sprint and perform wugulun kungfu :p :)
The article linking to this should it bounding over rocks with debris flying, this thing's taking parkinsons like baby steps
Pudu? Like bantha-pudu? They might wanna work on that....
Still has that wired walk.
I thought Boston dynamic showing their robots doing this ,like 10 years ago lol
Waiting on someone to recreate a Star Wars B1 Battledroid.
Whybyou need robot to vacuum clean? When you have automated vacuum cleaner now.
Be careful… Your clever question only shows you like a dumb …
Wow
That was the funniest video I've ever seen in my life
How much?
Doesnt look all there, still got work to do i think. Not ready for product release in my opinion.
kick harder! it's character building :D That robot will have to fight off crackheads and robbers so it needs to be strong and alert haha
