Suggested Easy upgrade: Make the bot able to be a seat for the own with a pop up back rest, 320 pound max weight, those same components can make up a carry cart for the bot too. Also has SOS walking guidance or safety patrol for a house hold or campus area. Great potential, I see you.
I guess having a tail large tail would provide stability while walking avoiding taking small baby steps for stability-might save battery power this way And add a jaw with sharp teeth and really small hands

.....The Square-cube law is certainly a roadblock to that. But it does look like we can get a Metal Gear Mk. II.
Only reason not to build an AT-ST is ManPATs, oh, and all the means of mobility kills demonstrated by the Ewoks.

yeah, but it's super impractical. a bunch of drones each acting individually and perching on powerlines to recharge... that's a whole different story.
imagine an AT-ST with wheels that could travel hella fast. WE. ARE. DOOMED. We need to find Ewoks and fast.
A clear example on how old movies inspire future designs.

It's crazy that it self-developed its own joints. That thing is a design machine!
I thought the same thing about that “self-developed” caption. They had room on the screen for “We” self developed.
The way it gets up in the last clip looks pretty crazy, control loop must be pretty fast
Very sensible design. Good stuff
Star Wars, Metal Gear, and Robo Cop. All happening at once. Future shown in movies is so close now.

We got Star Wars Droids before GTA VI
Now my 1:16th Luke Skywalker has something to do.
Star Wars Baby! It's here, make it bullet and Laser proof, but you can't beat 2 tree trunks though!
good design, maybe more for business to business sales than for consumers. large factories, night time security, early warning systems etc.
