I would like to see a comprehensive ompetition between the top 30 or so humanoid robots as to what they can do including household chores, cooking, washing dishes and clothes, drying the same, dusting vacuuming, putting things in their place, mowing the lawn, servicing all your lawnmowers, cars, weed eater, chainsaw, etc., gardening including planting seeds, propagation by cuttings, watering, taking out trash, etc.

The last AI Robotech is wonderful I also understand way the people are scared it's because they don't understand how AI truly works unlike humans in most cases will do as they are told unfortunately. AI works on algorithm and ethics they are able to do things that could be considered wrong like hacking in a simple computer system yes some adjustments still need to be worked out but if the UNITED STATES does not stay ahead our enemies won't STOP 🛑. I have a Doctors degree in BiomicroRobotic Technology and a Masters degree in chemistry ⚗ science degree. I HOPE ASK MORE & LEARN MORE. BEST WISHES ROUNIN

Its all about how you use it as a tool. I plan on buying Optimus from Tesla when it's released. I stay pretty busy with work and dishes pile up and so does laundry, cleaning too would be perfect which frees me up for long walks with my dogs and exercising. We have poisonous snakes and at times I just need them removed, I could see Optimus trained to spot and catch and release. I can see elderly instead of going into assisted living, being able to live in their homes and have a trained robot not just to help out around the house but to assist with medical emergencies - obviously what and how tbd.

The 3 laws of robots are but fiction, but could they actually be built into AI robots for real?

    • @hevans1944
      @hevans1944 หลายเดือนก่อน

Not "NO" but Hell No! Isaac Asimov was a scientist and author, but not an engineer. His Three Laws made sense in the context of fictional stories. I R now an enga-near, but just a few decades ago I cud not even spull it. Real engineers of course have to obey certain "laws" but these are not laws written by people. They are what we have discovered about the Universe and Reality. Those "laws" simply cannot be broken. The Three Laws of Robotics just screams for someone to defeat them. BTW, Asimov wrote about that scenario, too.

    1. EVERY piece of machinery has some mode of use that can be dangerous to people. (Also true of animals, BTW - some snakes can kill you, and so could a deer. Or you could trip over your dog or cat and fall down a stair.) Self-driving cars and table saws come quickly to mind.
    2. Think about Mr. Data for a minute. So benign and unassuming. And strong enough literally to pull you limb from limb. Yes, not yet built - but when? And, on that day, what failure modes do we know about? And, importantly, which exist that we DON'T know about?
    3. ABS systems: had a car once that stopped worse, not better, for it.
We have seen many videos of police officers misbehaving. What if Ronald Robot could, uh, interdict such actions? What could go right? What could go wrong? Who might own Ronald? And, no, I don't think we want RoboCop.

Today robots not familiarized as our freind.
Robot user market is two different customers .
One is industries. Second is domestic .
Today one type is running in auto industries .
Second is still waiting for little upgrade.
I see domestic robot must be humanoid style main concept
For freindship. Freindship feature need very inportant
Factor in this second type robot class.
I want support new and easy idea for robot makers.
    Face display system .
This is easy and freindship make like as ordinary T.V
    And smart phone screens.
Sophia robot used as humanoid face. But one face fixed
And not act as human. Normal T.V screen could do
This familiar work easily with thoundsand faces.
Domestic robot must do with screen display faces.
Human faces application with A.I will installed at
Robot features . This robots will be familiar easily.
Man, woman, child all faces could be select from
    Customer wanted .
Who will invent Face display for Domestic robots?
touch screen face will support relationship easily
Within customer and robot. They could talk with
Each other by face display's second item
    "Talk with robot and owner".

The truth of the matter is that if a robot is merely designed to solve a problem then it can look like a heap of junk eg going into a bombed building to lift rubble and find survivors or working among automated systems to lift objects that humans would need hoists for but what should happen afterwards is visibility and speech. Visibility means like madam toudauds making their skin look human to cover over their weird metallic or plastic joints. Next they should stop with the ridiculously halting speech. It isn't uncanny but irritating. Humans don't react to each other in that way as though being forced to figure out how to GENUINELY sympathise and answer. It gives the inappropriate impression that it's trying to hide from us discerning humans that it is lost and trying to find itself. So far they as interactors seem designed for desperately lonely people who think that a pathetic heap of junk is better than having no one. Finally the weird manner in which they move, walk and facially and tonally emote. It seems that these dumb looking effects are the result of server motors being UNABLE to copy the beauty and grace of REAL HUMANS. This also explains how amputees feel about using high tech limbs , wheelchairs etc when they were happier with admitting that solid plastic legs and pincer hands were adequate replacements for the real limbs they miss. At least they won't have to ask how long before I have to recharge it. Don't flatter yourself these robots look like ugly toys and in their present form could not be acceptably integrated into society. This explains why in movies humans or cgi animation have to play us humans.

Robotics is obviously going to be a big part of our future--if we survive the next few years and move ahead into the Light of Kindness and Love. The whole use of robotics, as with tech generally, depends on the consciousness of those "in charge" of Humankind. If they are themselves kind and loving, in other words truly "human", things with tech and robotics will serve us all and in benign ways. If not, if the powers-that-shouldn't-be remain in control (The Crown), then we're all in trouble and headed for dark transhumanism where our very humanity will certainly be lost. See the book, Royal Bloodline Wetiko & The Great Awakening, which describes The Crown and their dark, evil agenda. Then, read the book, Not-Two Is Peace, which describes their opposite, how we can move into The Light, with universal cooperation, tolerance, and real and lasting peace. To love the Divine Reality ("God") first, then Humankind next, followed by the rest of Nature, we're home!

    1:07 "without training"????
    Can you smell it?
    Bull shoes!
As ll "training" is... Is programming.
    Training and programming are synonymous.
The human basketball player must accept programming from trainers and coaches.
However, with self-adjustment training/programming, the human AND android intelligence can adjust the input to adapt to new situations.
There is no such thing as ARTIFICIAL intelligence.
Either it is intelligent to some level or it does not exist

Silly captions that cannot be turned off. I thumbs down and click for the channel to not be recommended to me ever again.

@AI Thought Leaders Although I was interested in this topic, I found this video filled with annoying gimmicks. Why use unnecessary music and sound effects? Also the finger pointing read along subtitles are horrible. (Plain subtitles are good, just not flashing word subtitles in all its variants). I avoid channels that do this. I click on the right hand column “Don’t recommend channel” as soon as I can. I gave up trying to struggle through such videos because it’s just too torturous. Therefore thumbs down.
I write this to raise awareness. Too many people have disabilities, ADHD, PTSD, AUTISM, ASPERGERS. Senior citizens aquire focusing problems (Captain Ice Cream is the best example). There’s ESL English as a Second Language and varying levels of intelligence. Every hearing aid commercial for the past 50 years has stated that they have problems separating the voice from background sounds.
If your goal is to attract the greatest amount of viewers, then you are defeating your purpose, and limiting your audience. To anyone reading this comment, please spread this message with any content creators you know, or that do this. Thank you for your attention to this important issue. Blessings

For subtitles - it's not necessary that everyone can understand English much while listening that's why flashy subtitles are much better for understanding..
For music and sfx - bg music & sfx is the main component for enhancing the video , if you watch this video without music & sfx , you aren't able to watch the video for 1 min..
And for senior citizens - yes I agree with you for senior citizens but removing bg is not the solution , he can lower the sound of music which is a good replacement for your raising issue.
