I can’t find a greater story than this. ❤️ from 🇧🇩 Me and my dad help prepare for iftar when my mum is sick. Sometimes it does not go according to plan..... Happy ramadan
Would love to see another one with Tanzania added. I was raised Christian and only really got know know the Muslim faith and culture when I lived there for 6 years. Ramadan was my absolute favorite month of the year. The sense of community and gratitude brought together by food absolutely still warms my heart. Great documentary ❤️
It's beautiful but guys,(men) be actively involved in preparing Iftar. It's not that we women have sabr and don't feel thirsty. We do, we get exhausted and sometimes want to run away from the kitchen, after all women also are human. And we too want to use sometime for Ibadah in Ramadan like men, but somehow everything takes a backseat and we prioritize preparing multiple dishes which most of the time you aren't even grateful of. If you could only realize how difficult it is to wash and clean up after iftar, when the body just wants to given, when men mostly collapse infront of TV or chat. Remember it is not your ramadan only, it's ours as well. And we are humane, we haven't been given extra capacity to do all this. We do feel bad for ourselves deep somewhere but do not express it. All I want to say, is that young men, or boys becoming men, please change this system. Be actively involved into preparing iftar and cleaning up afterwards. Our religion is simple and easy for everyone, let's not make it a cooking marathon for women
In my home, my father and mother are equally involved in the making of Iftar. I thought this was the case for everyone. Sad to hear it isn't. Women really deserve more, they deserve to relax and sit down as well. A man generally comes home from work then watches tv. A house wife, however, works everyday, every hour. I am 12 years old, and its sad to see that most of my friends are just interested in getting married and 'serving' men. This mentality needs to change, especially in rural areas. Islam gives a high position to women, uphold that.
That's what I was noticing during the whole video, I thought it's just the case of my country but no, Muslim men are not involved in anything at all even Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to do house chores!
True and I can't ask my father to help my mother in kitchen, I'll be scolded by both of them 😂 but I do help my mom in the kitchen, I just hope my dad helps my mom around a little too
What you said might be true in many homes, but not here lol, we boys at home take care of all cutting and chopping for iftar and other special dishes, cleaning too. Even sweeping ,mopping and stuff too. We know what comes if we don't help Mom, either the stick or that she would just sit down and say go prepare yourselves ! Haha Its sad that you're in this situation. You should sit down and talk with them about this , a heart to heart talk and maybe they'll understand and co-operate.
even though Ramadhan is about fasting, food is almost always the center focus of the month. There's food that almost always shows up on Ramadhan but nowhere else. In my student years I would always be going from places to places eating iftar food, most of the time free. God bless those who give free , tasty food to others!
You know what is good about ramadhan? It is the only month I can eat with my family. Most of the time my family members eat alone because we dont eat at the same time. During ramadhan, we wait 10 minutes before we break our fast

This made me cry. Thank you for the beautiful stories. Thank you for showing the beauty of Ramadan.
Too bad you didn’t film in Europe. Bosnia would have been an amazing spot. In Bosnia iftar is announced with a huge cannon firing...
It's the same in turkey and in some places where they don't have a canon (or whatever they do the sound with) they just pop a plastic ball instead
Trebali su da snime ramazanske lepine
In Malaysia also, that cannon firing for announcing iftar is normal in here too...
actually this is a tradition existing in all muslim countries during ramadan, it feels good to see so many muslims enjoying the same tradition.

I'm Tunisian 🇹🇳 and I can't be with my family because of the 2020 quarantine. This video brought Ramadan gathering nostalgia but in a good way ☺️ .
Great content, thank you !
Me too. Sometimes i feel really sad.
I hope these terrific days would end quickly and all of us come together with our loved ones...
Muslim women are so strong, God bless them ❤️
Thank you for this video . love it ❤️
And ramadan is coming once again this year despite the virus may allah bless us with a beautiful ramadan once gain , ameen.
How beautiful the whole idea of ramadan is. I'm an indian hindu but I feel really proud about the whole ramadan custom, it connects people of the whole community.May the almighty shower all his blessings upon people and I also pray for the Syrian people who are struggling everyday. May the almighty God give them strength.
You're so kind hearted Sweta....I hope allah or bhagwan fulfills all your wishes...
Indeed, Islam is the best of the best❤
No matter what religion anyone happens to be, the sense of getting together is very heartwarming
what I like in the month of Ramadan is being able to gather with friends to iftar together. Both Muslim and non-Muslim. Happy fasting everyone ~
I can’t find a greater story than this.
❤️ from 🇧🇩
Me and my dad help prepare for iftar when my mum is sick.

That's what I was noticing during the whole video, I thought it's just the case of my country but no, Muslim men are not involved in anything at all even Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to do house chores!
you'd be lucky if they even remember to put their plates in the sink...
Haha
Its sad that you're in this situation.
Agreed. In Pakistan, pakoras a typically made in Ramadan only and it basically represents Ramadan foods here.
Yeah, like in my country we have a desert called tepung pelita. And its shows up in the bazaar during ramadan. I cant find it no other time
You know what is good about ramadhan? It is the only month I can eat with my family. Most of the time my family members eat alone because we dont eat at the same time. During ramadhan, we wait 10 minutes before we break our fast
Absolutely true !
MashaAllah
Can't be more thankful ro Allah for this holy month
bcus it literally strengthens the fabric of society
Islam is truly a beautiful religion.
I live in Malaysia but I'm not a Muslim
Even though I'm not a Muslim I still love the story that my Muslim friends talk about there adventurs
Moga diberikan hidayah buatmu bro adrian :-)

This really made me cry. Thank you for representing Bangladesh ♥️ felt so good seeing how she was holding our traditions and spreading them while being halfway around the world

Love this video....can’t understand who disliked this video of people preparing food for their families... sad and pathetic.
The Mumbai lady explained it so nicely how we Muslims feel the Ramadan.
I always try to do 3 days of the Ramadan!!! I have so much respect for these people!!! Good luck 😉
I just cried for our Syrian brothers and Sisters....I pray to Allah may your suffering ends soon and may your community be as happy as you were before...Love from Pakistan
Lovely video ❤️ it explains exactly how Ramadan feels like, I'm already missing Ramadan and its not over yet
@Steven Universe you wouldn't know unless you experience it
Agree with you
I think about how I miss ramadan too. Even the ramadan itself hasn't ended yet

This IS a great big story! Thank you so much for filming this.
May Allah bring peace to Syria, the people had already suffred enough. My prayers are with you my syrian brothers and sisters.
syria story really hit me hard
just imagine, eatting family dinner with lack of family member
This video is truly awe-inspiring...As a Hindu women i m really not well acquainted with all these rituals..And always love to learn about other religions, people, perspective....I HV been brought up in a mixed cultural family where religion means neutrality...Loving and accepting people irrespective of their religion, caste, colour, profession and so on! This video is really very very soul comforting....The sense of togetherness, being loved by someone is the best in the whole world! May God bless you all in the holiest month of Ramadan! 💓💓💓💓💓
That is so sweet of you! May god bless you too :)
My heart breaks for my Syrian brothers and sisters. May Allah bring peace to your country.
Beautiful video about beautiful traditions. I´m Christian, but love to watch, how the religion (whichever you believe) is bringing us all together. Ramadan Mubarak to you All!
The image of the syrian iftar contrasting with all the other locations is really heart breaking. All the other ones had big families and people gathering around and smiling while in syria it's just a mother and daughter eating somberly at a lonely table.
Ramadan is near and youtube recommend me a lot of Ramadan related videos. This makes me even more excited
Cryyy... So touching..
🙏 Ramadhan Mubarak all..
Alhamdulillah! Ramadan is indeed best month. I can't express how excited I am for Ramadan 2021... Just 14 days to go😊. May Allah grant us the taufiq to fast.
