One of my biggest memories of Warhammer is the old MMO. And this just perfectly captures the feel of running around that landscape. Just the right blend of fantasy game vibrancy and medieval imagery.
Thought it couldn't get any better after the mordhiem table... I was wrong!!! Love it, I'm sure your dwarves will have many a battle across this stunning terrain board, thanks for sharing. Absolutely love your work, it's the yearly nostalgia hit I need! 😮😮😊
Absolutely fantastic. Love the modularity, and with it being four 4x2 sections it can be recombined into many different 6x4 configurations with or without the river, love that. (Our river board builds tend... to always have a river no matter how we set them up, since we only make 3 sections.)
I have a similar table in my game room. Literally hundreds of hours of meticulous work, specifically for WFB. Printed everything myself. Used a little of foam as you did as well. I had always wanted a big table with green hills, realistic trees, and a castle in one corner (which is removable like everything else). Great project!
Amazing build and board! It really captures that classic fantasy feel. I actually got motion sickness from the warping and anti shake during the glamour shots. It was a really weird effect that distracted a lot from the final showcase.
Tabletop World has a Sale on right now, and its worth mentioning that the other river attached Building the "fisher mans house" as well as the old "coaching inn" are being retired once stock is gone so its pretty much your last opportunity to get either if you've been putting off getting some of their excellent buildings.. I've over the years picked up pretty much everything they've ever made and still kick myself for missing out on the Ruined version of the coaching Inn they produced for a while, and can say hands down they are the best quality buildings you can find, Oh and they also all have a fully modeled interior too...
Honestly I’ve been waiting for somebody to make a fantasy board for bloody ages you d knocked it out the park! Amazing board and would love to make one one day! Keep up the good work!
Just a quick note about spray paint and styrofoam: Liquitex makes some rattle cans with no solvant in in. I can vouch for the carbon black one, I even primed some miniatures with. Won't melt the foam, doesn't smell as bad as other regular cans. Keep up!
For as much as I _do_ genuinely like this, I agree with your friend; if I was around it all of the time those roads would drive me crazy like a misaligned picture on the wall, albeit not so easily fixed.
that's freaking awesome! looks like straight out of a old warhammer rulebook or even better like from Dark omen pc game. the river is outright FANTASTIC. do some HQ pictures of it, it will make a sweet background for my PC. sooooo coooool!!!!
Beatiful table! Astonishing! One thing though: Medieval/Fantasy roads that are used by horsedrawn carts did/should not have a green stripe in the middle of the road bc thats where the horse/draw-animal was walking
i took some time during covid and handmade a table like that with resin rivers, sound effects, lighting and intricately shaped cabbages and trees. took it to the local game group and they said it had too much terrain. sigh.
Love it! Love it! Love it! 😁 That would be a Warhammer board of my dreams as well. Unfortunately, even if I did have the talent to make something like that, I lack the space at home to make or play with a board that nice!
PLease....show a battle on this beauty
A fantastic board. I can imagine empire soldiers fighting off beastmen on it already
Thank you so much! Me too!
These old school Warhammer Fantasy tables were the best! Nicely done!
Thank you!
1 minute in and already getting excited. The nostalgia is hitting hard! TAKE ME BACK TO 1998
Haha thanks!
I have no words! Simply beautiful. 😍
Thank you so much
Talk about putting all the boards from the good old days army books and rule books to shame! Absolutely stunning.
You are too kind. Thanks!
All set for the return of the Old World. Lovely board, simultaneously very nostalgic but with those modern detailed buildings.
Thanks man!
Looks great. Wish i have terrain and space eventually to have such nice looking board
Thanks!
One of the best boards I've seen, period. Beautiful and simplistic in a good way! It evokes such a Medieval European and Warhammer feel!
Thank you for the kind words!

I have no interest in Warhammer but I found that build absolutely fascinating. The resulting table was amazing, very nicely done.
Thank you very much

Thanks. Glad you noticed. A lot of thought went into the modularity!
Fantastic job! Your boards as always are a delight to gaze upon and an inspiration

Amazing build and board! It really captures that classic fantasy feel.
I actually got motion sickness from the warping and anti shake during the glamour shots. It was a really weird effect that distracted a lot from the final showcase.
Thanks. Yeah i wont use that effect again! 🫣
Maybe the best board I've seen for medieval/fantasy
Thank you so much!

Yes i agree! They are by far the best!
your friend was right... these roads had cars drive down them ;) grass in the middle wouldn't have been a thing...but man do they look nice! love it!
Thanks!
Reminds me of something you would see in a white dwarf in 2010, I love it!
Thank you so much
I had alot of these Tabletop Worlds buildings. They're very nice and they're easy to paint

For as much as I _do_ genuinely like this, I agree with your friend; if I was around it all of the time those roads would drive me crazy like a misaligned picture on the wall, albeit not so easily fixed.

Dude, you should have spent waay more time on showing us how you painted the individual houses. We love watching that.
Yeah i know but it takes soooo damn long to film. But maybe i can make separate videos for the church and the cottage since i did film them.

Holy pricing on those terrain pieces! I'll never be able to multiple of those buildings let alone even just two. Absolutely rediculous prices!

Beatiful table! Astonishing! One thing though: Medieval/Fantasy roads that are used by horsedrawn carts did/should not have a green stripe in the middle of the road bc thats where the horse/draw-animal was walking

i took some time during covid and handmade a table like that with resin rivers, sound effects, lighting and intricately shaped cabbages and trees. took it to the local game group and they said it had too much terrain. sigh.
Haha yeah i have had that comment too. But i can remove most of it for gaming
What a beauty
Thank you
Love it! Love it! Love it! 😁
That would be a Warhammer board of my dreams as well.
Unfortunately, even if I did have the talent to make something like that, I lack the space at home to make or play with a board that nice!
