Honestly the best table I've ever seen, exactly what I think of when I imagine Mordheim. It's a travesty you don't have more subscribers so I'm gonna share this as much as I can
Absolutely astounding work. Inspirational stuff. Would love to see a video report on a game played on it - seeing how players utilised all the routes and levels you have set up would be very interesting.
Just recently searched for some inspiration for an upcoming Mordheim table and found this channel - made my day! Really beautiful and well executed table and so inspiring!
I was skeptical after the priming and air brushing while being a backseat miniatures builder and thinking "it needs a wash" or "it needs a layer of resin". Should have had someone in the front seat telling me to "shut up and wait until the build is over!" In my defense, it was my first video but we'll fix that with a sub to the channel. Amazing build, that's some real commitment to a project. Just the shear size of this all together is overwhelming and I'm really jealous that I don't get to play on it!
Great work! my only advice would be to paint different colours under the resin to give the illusion of depth, so darker in the middle and getting lighter towards where land is :)
Thanks. Yes i was planning on that but my attempt was a massive failure as i tried with spray paints. My plan was to tint the resin anough to give that effect but i ended up tinting it way too little. Next time! 😀
This is the coolest board i've ever seen. Congratz on this project and you inspired me to make something simular like this. I've made several boards in the past but nothing like this. I can see our D&d/warhammer group playing alot of Age of Sigmar games on something like this. The only issue for me is that i don't have a 3D printer so either i will have to buy the walls and stuff or make them myself with foam...I am not sure yet. Anyways, beautiful job here man! Truely stunning.
I must say, I have been a military model and diorama builder for a long time and now i am planning on doing a war-hammer themed diorama build and for a while now ive been searching the realms of you-tube for ideas and other gaming board tips. After watching yours mate, I think this is one of the best boards i have seen. Absolutely yes sir, the detail, size, shape and theme are fantastic. If only this hobby was or could be a career choice then id be sorted for my life. I thoroughly enjoy this hobby and there is no level or limit to creativity. :) :) :) :) Thanks for the INSPIRATION
sometimes I come back to this video just to watch and chill. the ammount of care, detail and love put into this video is truly a love letter to the hobby. there's something relaxing about the water effect process, too. This channel deserves way more subs, I'm eager for the next board project (some cityfight 40k board would be amazing)
Thank you so much. This fall i will restar the channel and do some cool stuff. One morr mordehimboard, an oldhammer battlefield and probably a wasteland ork board for 40K
Deeply impressed over here, that looks amazing. As you said, the planning stage is the most important and here it shows, it really does look like an area that could exist in real life
Looks great! For your concern about the resin. A tip is to paint the river the way you want it to look, with the appearance of depth and flow - like you are doing a background for a diorama or matte painting for a film. Paint in little faded fish or rocks under the water. Then put the resin on. Any colours you put under the resin will never be accessible, so no one will know it's not that deep if you paint it well enough. But the end results you have got work really well, so I wouldn't worry at all.
First of all, absolutely amazing. Second: as you dropped some leafes and said Something about autumn, it came to my mind that there are no trees at all to lose the leafes :D
Such an EPIC build! Congratulations. This looks incredible! I would be ecstatic to have my warband play on that board! I can only imagine the awesome campaigns you will be running on it! Congratulations again.
Amazing table! One suggestion is to use magnets on a lot of the pieces so that you can reuse for another map and not have them permanently glued to one surface.
Thanks. Yeah i am doing that on my other tables. But i really wanted to do as much as possible built in as it looks so much better than modular pieces. 😀
Not enough fish imagery... Seriously... One of the best boards I've ever seen! Specially since you gave as a tour on how it was made! You've made one more subscriber!
Hello. I discovered your channel a bit by chance and frankly I am amazed by your table. She is magnificent !!!!! A childhood dream that must come true for you, you can be proud of your work. More than to play now. Good luck, and sincere congratulations from France for this work again!
Looks amazing, I really want to play a game of d&d on it. I'd really enjoy planning a campaign in that setting. Somthing to aspire to but two major issues are space and all the tools and machines you have are your disposal. Great inspiration for a smaller build for me though, I might try a tavern and surrounding area as a first attempt.
Thanks. Yeah the space is vital but a lot can be made with simpler tools, pink foam and a hot wire cutter can make wonders in the right hands. Takes time though.
Nice work, really meticulous craftsmanship. The resin pour looks great, I've done smaller pours where I used too much dye and lost the transparent effect, it's a fine line and tricky to accomplish a good look, so kudos on a great water effect to finish a beautiful (massive) board :) Also, really great channels you listed (Luke Towan is on a different level) have you checked out minibricks channel? They do great practical diorama effects and lots of resin pours. Thanks for a great channel, hope you keep it up!
Absolutely remarkable project! Inspirational effort there. What happens to such a big board like this? Do all of your skirmishy, Mordheim-ish games get played on it moving forward, or does it get sold / donated to a game store or club or what?
I dont even play DND but i just started painting miniatures and i would love to do something like this one day but idk if i could even be that artistic this looks amazing man

Thanks man. Thats very kind of you! I will keep at it and do more videos on future projects!!!
totally agree, this is insane. would loooove to play on it aswell :D
Absolutely astounding work. Inspirational stuff. Would love to see a video report on a game played on it - seeing how players utilised all the routes and levels you have set up would be very interesting.
That is a plan well worth exploring. Thanks
