Not sure when the first ladder was added in 3, but I know it was with the Paradis Island expansions that they really came into use because of the house boats.

I always fall in love with your tiny houses and I wonder "wow imagine living in one, so cute" but then I'm like "yeah probably not so cute living in such a small place" but in the sims I'm always down for a tiny house

My husband and I live in a tiny house, we've got all what we need, it's very practical and it takes like 10 minutes to do alll the cleaning! We can fit some guests from time to time as well

I never knew Sims could cook on corner counters!
Chloe Lizette My sims won't cook on any other type of counter. I've taken to filling all the corner counters in the house with clutter in a meager attempt to make them stop
once upon space and time my sims somehow just cook through the clutter
I've done that. Even had a basement too. Had so many rooms that there was a piano room, art, several libraries, music room, club, billiards, game etc
I made a house with 8 sims. One of the dogs are old and the other needs to be spayed.

I call bs on them saying that they can’t make spiral staircases. They’ve said the same thing about:
- Color wheels
- Swimming Pools
- Toddlers and freaking ect.!
Seriously, they always find a way to include content they’ve had in previous games. Not to mention the amount of content they have planned, they have PLENTY of time to figure everything out.
Finally the glass roof you’ve been wanting in almost every tiny build 🙏🏻
Xayah you have to have the seasons expansion pack or you won't be able to use any
Xayah I dont have seasons and i have glass roofs... You have to build normal roof and then choose in "patterns of the roofs" or smth like that

My aunt lives in Spain and in her house to use the only bathroom you have to exit the 'main' building and go to the other smaller one right next to it. The temperature is not a problem (it's pretty hot there all the time) but I feel quite uneasy. During the day it's not much of a problem, but at night... There are times when I wake up in the middle of the night, think 'I need to go to the bathroom' and then instantly go 'nah. Maybe another time...'

I want spiral staircases so much. it's the number 1 on my sims wishlist. Not only would it save so much space in my smaller builds. but I would be able to make the castle towers on my historical builds actually be accurate, or at least not look super weird with just the straight stairs.
Have you tried building the tiniest home you can that will house the max amount of Sims you can have in a family? That'd be interesting to see :)
Emily practically though? IE do they have to be able to walk around all the time without bashing into each other? Or just physically ramming in 4 double beds xD
FlyingMonkies325 did I say try and fit a family in THIS house? I'm not stupid I know you wouldn't fit a family in the smallest house hes built lol. I said try and build the smallest house you possibly can that would house a whole family. It wouldn't be impossible, it'd take a lot of play testing and it would be a challenge.. that's kind of the point.
I really like this idea- like get Sim Supply to build a house that is as tiny as possible for a huge family?

I was SO confused because I only just got the game (because the first time I played it, as soon as I saw they had no toddlers I got pissed and deleted everything lol) and the stairs are one of my favorite things! I didn't know that was in an update haha

Beautiful build. I am always impressed how you can a tiny home functional, that glass roof in the bedroom would annoy the hell out of me IRL. Sure, it would be amazing at night to lie in bed and look at the stars, but when daylight starts at 4:30- 5 am and I could be sleeping til 8-9am, that would not sit well with me.
raeanne18 you have to assume there is an electric blind to close it before falling asleep. Would be a bit later in the morning before sun starts hitting the bed and cooking you though.
Warren Cash not where I live. Daylight breaks early in the morning. By 5am, it's no longer dark outside. If my room isn't blacked out, I'm not sleeping.
Where I'm from, the authorities would never allow a bathroom door opening up into a kitchen. 😉 I love it, though. And thanks for all the videos. I'm new to The Sims, and I learn so much from watching them. 😊

Did you ever consider becoming an interior designer or The guy who makes the blueprints for a house prior to its building if youtube ever falls through? (It probably won't fall through but) Sims would be a perfect house building simulator for contractors to show people what the design will look like inside and out once its built ya know? Dunno, just a thought. I've slept for only 3 hours might have the flu, and over half of my home state where I currently reside (california) is on fire, so have patience with my insane rambling. Thank you for the wonderful content and of course, Congrats on One Million! I hope to do what you do for a living some day.

Making blueprints for a house involves much more than just a layout, you have to structure, a plumbing system, and electric.
I don't understand how you build a house 10x smaller than mine..... but have almost twice the stuff..... Sim Supply Master Class please! haha
Well, he quite obviously has mods for more freedom of placement, sure he also has mods for a more forgiving pathfinding in order to play the game without requiring for that lobotomite of a Sim to have a huge walking space.
It's not hard if you plan it out correctly. I managed to fit in a sofa, a coffee table, a desk with a chair, three counters, a fridge, a stove, a shower, a toilet, a drawer, a nightstand, a double bed, two sun beds, a 4 x 3 swimming pool, and a spiral staircase into a 5 x 7 interior size made up of two floors (the swimming pool is on the roof but still counts as it takes up room in the space below). The total area of the house is 9 x 11 when the balconies that surround the walls of the house (one grants access to the pool on the roof while the other one leads to ground level, as I build the main interior above a parking space for the vehicles). However, there is no way you could squeeze these things into a smaller area without adding or taking away floors (I had barely enough space to put the double bed in so that both sides can be accessed, if it wasn't for the fact that the spiral stairs have a 1 x 1 area at the top where the sims can stand the entire right side of the bed would be pointless).

Man, I think it would be cool to see a Wonderland inspired house. It would probably be similar to the quirky house but with less clutter and more secret passages and hallways
This is probably my favourite tiny build you've done, love the heavy use of blue colour. Be interesting to see how many sims die from the cold trying to go to the bathroom at 4am during winter. "The Sadistic Sim Supply" has a nice ring.
Speaking of Sims of consoles... I'm here still waiting for the Urbz playthough on Xbox! Remember you had all those plans to do old sims games like that? They were a ton of fun. Hopefully you'll re-fire that idea if you're feeling it again.
This house looks great, exterior wise and interior. I would love to sleep a few nights in that bedroom. I'm just imagining how cool it would be having that massive skylight during a thunderstorm.

I love making tiny houses in the Sims, I made an entire tiny house village on a single lot. It's hilarious because the sims will prep food in one house, walk to another house to use the stove, and then sit on the bed in another house to eat despite all the tables and chairs on the lot. They could just do it all in one house, but I guess they want to get a workout.

Hey, quick suggestion: You mentioned how in tiny builds, you usually don't have room for a kitchen sink and wash the dishes in the bathroom sink instead. I was wondering: Why don't you just put in a dishwasher? You can put that in a counter, leaving you with just as much space as before!

I moved from PC to Xbox and I’m pretty sure it has all the shortcuts now - detailed rotation, moving objects up & down, increasing & decreasing the size of objects etc. I find it super easy to build in

I love your builds, BUT unfortunately like many of my friends we play on console. So a lot of the cheats u use or item placements you do we cant. So I present to u a challenge. Xbox/ps4 friendly build using ONLY dlc we have available :3 Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
What cheats does console not have?
The Sim Supply, I know that on Xbox if you want to play with achievements, you can’t use cheats at all. (At least for me and a few of my friends)
we cant put items like inside of items like every item needs 1 square to work :3 so tiny functional homes are hard to do

I would love to see you try and build a 'village' on a plot using these tiny builds. Choose a massive plot of land, put a 7-8 Sim household in there and build each of them their own tiny little home, all linked up with pathways, lighting and foliage etc. Maybe even build a communal 'pub' for them all to hang out in too, if there's space.
I'm actually tempted to try it myself, but I'm on PS4, with hardly any DLC (no Tiny Living pack), so it might be a bit tough for me to do, but I still might give it a go lol

I play on console, I've seen you build on console and then seen you build on pc, there is an obvious difference. So my question to you is, do you feel there are limitations on the console that you don't have on pc?

This video inspired me to build a Spanish-style 4x4 plus exterior stairs tiny home in TS3. I wish routing was better so I could put more stuff in the bedroom, but I did manage place a whole bunch of potted plants behind my TV and armchair in honor of you lol.
