I love this car so much. This and a GT3 (or 4) RS plus an RS6 or Cayenne GTS would be hard to beat as a 3-car garage. Porsche just gets better and better.
Porsche cant get better, they are on top of the hill since 50 years.
I wouldn´t go for two 911s in a three car garage.
My three car garage would be a GT3 touring, Wraith and 300 SL

Love the fact this is built to be an absolute hoot to drive on street or track while still remaining somewhat sensible. Also love Porsche doesn't apologize for a 0-60mph of "only 4.1" Those that get it, get it.

im not a huge fan of porsche after the 997 but lordy they've really done it lately. i mean the gt4rs is sports car perfection and they've really hit the nail on the head with this sport classic

Started watching the smoking tires feature on this until I realized you dropped one too. Needless to say, I shut them off and clicked on yours instead.
I can’t wait to see one of these on a dyno so we can see how much Porsche is sandbagging the numbers lol. You know it’s going to be putting out more than they are telling us on paper.

Ok. I’m not going to lie. The fact you’re able to be composed and comment on the driving experience… while simultaneously driving (enthusiastically) up the GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED HILL (!) is somewhat irritatingly impressive. I on the other hand, would be less composed and squealing with excitement like a child driving fairground dodgems. Classy 😎
These heritage edition Porsches are just awesome! I've been driving the Targa 4S Heritage and GT2 RS back to back, the design cues on the 4S are fabulous but performance is obviously not on par, however, the GT2 RS just gets tiring for normal road use and the boss (wife) doesn't like it. This beautiful new Turbo based Sport Classic could be the answer. Thanks so much for sharing.

Up to now and never before can I say that I have been jealous of someone for having something I don’t, but James you were given the keys to what I would consider a piece of art and royalty. This is like the 911R, got people ready for electrification and ICE cars with no more manual. I think this truly is the last manual 911.
Reminds me of my (extremely problematic) Porsche 987S RS60 Spyder I used to own. That interior is stunning, though. Almost terracotta.

Dear Lord….🔥That’s exceptional! Beautiful leather interior, the houndstooth is a very nice touch. However, on this particular one, we would prefer black leather with houndstooth.🎧

OK very nice retro touches, but not so accessible for most people and as turbo rear drive, manual and other similarities, it's a GTS .

I think the Turbo should have been designed like this Classic. Never been a fan of the side air ducts. They disrupt the lines of the car.
I thought there was no "wider Turbo body" on the 992s.
Question....In the movie Ford vs. Ferrari how much of that was true and could you do a video on it...BTW if you could give a shout out to Texas, we would appreciate it brotha.....

Lovely car. It’s best feature is getting rid of that hideous 992 active spoiler. Manual is always fun, but should’ve indeed been the 6-spd you mistook it for. Did it have rear seats? Loosing the side intakes probably left a few ponies out grassing.
Duck tail. Interior. Car is to die for. I’m thinking it’s the sweet spot of the 992 design. Not that the GT and Turbos aren’t amazing to start with.

Porsche have done badass things underneath a car earlier like removing the wing on GT2 and still doing the same magic.
Every 992 has the intercooler intake on the rear decklid even on the Turbo the side intakes only supplement the main intake.
They moved is underneath the spoiler

I'm not into putting all my money into cars, but if 300k was pocket change to me, this could be the car I would get. a loud and harsh gt Rs would probably get old quickly. this is something I would road trip and take to canyon roads with constant smile. the fact that it's unique being manual also means it's an investment that will gain value
