How did this film win? It was sold on the promise of lots of unseen footage from Bowie’s archive and ended up being a mash up of widely available mostly TH-cam clips that have been available for years! What we ended up with was a lazy film who’s only saving grace was it contained actual footage of Bowie rather than some two bit actor totally failing to play him. As a fan of David Bowie for far too many years that I care to remember, I can say with confidence this film would never have got his authorisation if he were still alive. It’s a typical KERCHING! Product that’s infesting brand Bowie these days along side the multitude of tat that’s constantly being pedalled to gullible fans. 🙄
