    You may punt once or twice (a turn ;), but your brews are always sublime. I have a lot of respect for you as a deckbuilder.

    I think I just gotta let you know I bought this deck cause it looked fun and yesterday on my opponents turn I actually cast peer through depths, reach through mists, and sift through sands and put the unspeakable into play then a few turns later I proceeded to win with the infinite combo

    I didn't realize that survivors encampment was such a good card for kalamax I'm going to add it immediately

    Building one of these now with Hinata, Dawn-Crowned and Isochron Scepter and Feather, the Redeemed are so good in this deck. Because spliced cards go back to the hand this means you basically never lose cards from your hand this way.

    Question. How does Tomer tap Kalamax at 6:33 ? I thought you needed an ability or to attack to tap creatures.

    Hi! I am commenting this quite late but am interested in the deck. I am confused how you splice torrent of stone onto the infinite combo as I thought you could only splice onto an arcane spell when you cast it. Are you able to splice onto a copy of a spell when it is copied? I am too nervous to buy the deck without understanding it haha

    • @willdruzianic1904
      @willdruzianic1904 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wait I think I understand... So you cast the desperate ritual with through the breach spliced onto it and you never let it resolve, you only let copies of it resolve so you can then splice torrent of stone onto the original and then keep copying the original? and then repeat that with any splice spells that use red mana? If so, that's crazy.

      Correct, you can only splice when you cast an arcane spell, not copy it. I cast Desperate Ritual splicing Through the Breach, then copied the spell (with splice) using Rootha, bouncing Rootha to hand, returning Rootha back with Through the Breach, repeating infinite times for infinite mana. But I messed up and didn't splice anything else, so I cast Bala Ged Recovery to get back Desperate Ritual and do it again, this time splicing Torrent of Stone + Inner Calm for infinite damage and infinite power. I didn't need to do this though, since once you have infinite mana you can just cast Through the Breach with the spliced spells and continue that way without Ritual. Hope that helps.

      Thanks heaps! I am huge fan of the content on this channel. If New Zealand board game shops don't start stocking the cards I need, someday I fully believe these videos will make me the biggest importer of magic cards to New Zealand. Keep up the great work!

    Restricting the nicknames to single letters always made it hard for me to follow because they almost always rhyme and aren't very memorable so they don't have sticking power. Maybe just find one notable syllable in each name to use? I assume these Abridged Gameplay videos are scripted. I can't imagine Can, Jest, and Tar would be much harder to say.

      I'll use 1-syllable nicknames going forward. Thanks for the feedback!
