I'm actually pretty let down...it's like your dad saying we're gonna go play ball when he gets home from work today. So you sit there with your gloves and baseball and he comes home 5 hours late when the day is over. That's not me I don't even like baseball. But the Wayfairers Bauble not being first can get pretty bad 🤷
Side note: deaths' presence only works on things dying besides Ghalta because he will usually go back to the command zone. All in all though, this video was great! I loved watching this tech Mitch, thanks for producing great content!
@@peterosborne8315 unfortunately, in magic terms, "dying" represents going from the battlefield to the graveyard. Ghalta usually goes back to the command zone as a replacement effect, so it never hits the graveyard.
Several thoughts: First Mitch you are a genius! I love vehicles and I love that you are finding new ways to use them well! That said this deck is terrified of boardwipes it is hilarious! Then again my LGS seems mostly devoid of removal so I am sure this deck is the proper amount of scared of boardwipes. I guess I just find it funny but man let me tell you you have built a beautifully resilient deck.
hunting wilds can be a substitute for one of the other land to creature spells if wanted for 3/3. noticing the lack of air defence, gravity well can be used to make attacking creatures lose flying as constant enchantment effect. raking canopy can be used instead if you would prefer those with flying dont attack you at all. copper horn scout can untap your vehicles and mana producing creatures before your turn ends to have them ready to be recrewed for other things. chariot of victory would make ghalta, or mossbridge troll very scary to deal with in combat.
I like you OP. I'll instill you with secret knowledge. Crashing Drawbridge belongs in any non-red decks. Particularly mono-green. A basically all haste anthem is definitely a sleeper overpowered utility. **"on budget"**
This is a VERY unique build, I honestly didn't expect that anybody would be going with Vehicle Tribal in a Ghalta deck in a thousand years, let alone one that works really freaking well! As always you never fail to impress, keep up the good work, Mitch!
Since you have big creatures I would recommend Ulvenwald Tracker for some creature removal. Having Ghalta come in with haste is so good I would recommend Surrak, the Hunt Caller
Actually no dinos drive vehicles in this brew. It's other vehicles, mana dorks, some times other creatures and some times lands. I cannot object on the "madman" though.
I just played my "King Macar, The Gold-Cursed" (all the tap/untap) list back to back with my Gishath deck, and it highly fueled my urge to build this deck... Gotta test it out in the simulator! Cheers for the good work, Mitch!
I love my ghatla deck, I've recently swapped it to omnath of mana but have always loved how easily ghalta comes back from the command zone time after time with it's Mana reductions, careful because a big 12/12 too early will surely paint you as the prime target in many cases/playgroups. Also life and limb and nature's revolt is a nice way to keep people from boardwiping their own lands as well.
As someone whose main deck is Ghalta, seeing her be built with a Vehicle theme is surprising, yet all that came to mind was the chant of "Dinosaurs and Cadillacs!" Plus the video gave me a few more cards to take into mind to throw into my deck (except Feed the Pack, as that is staying since I once managed to score 36 Wolves off of it by sacing Ghalta to it over three turns). Fun part was: I died as a result thanks to a Massacre Wurm dropping XD
I've wanted to build Ghalta foreverr and this is actually amazing. Never would have considered Vehicle tribal being viable in commander ever. Creative as hell and looks so fun to pilot
If you want a little curveball throw in an Alter of Dementia. Have a bunch of open green mana with moss bridge on the field. Play Ghalta, tap him for Moss, sacrifice G to alter. Rinse and repeat and suddenly you’ve milled everyone out In 1 turn
Love this idea! You can tap vehicles to essentially create Mana. You tap a creature, man a vehicle, tap the vehicle and man another vehicle. Love this idea. Every vehicle you tap creates even more power. Then untap all creatures and you can go wide.
Okay, I'm trying to understand this. When it's mentioned at 4:00. How do the vehicles crew each other when they are not artifact creatures unless they are crewed? Do you just use a cheap creature to crew a 1 person vehicle and go from there?
Just finished my Boros Depala EDH deck.. and then you make a mono green Dino Vehicle deck with a commander I happen to have? That’s SO MUCH COOLER welp back to the drawing board
awesome deck Mitch. I always wanted to build a vehicle deck but couldn't figure out how to do it. Also I always wanted a mono green deck and already have Ghalta. Noice. Last deck I build off of you was the Jodah deck and remains undefeated so far.
I just recently got back into Magic and learned about Commander format, your channel is amazing! I only have a couple old legends, but I would love to see you make a deck from Nebuchadnezzar or Gabriel Angelfire.
Reap is also a really good recursion spell. in almost all games, someone will be playing black. IO think I played 1 game where there was no black player at the table so the card didn't do anything, but almost always, you will be able to grab multiple things from your graveyard with Reap.
Reminds me of the Wolf + Vehicle tribal EDH I came up with in Naya colors using Marath as the Commander. To think I even did this because I wanted to see Lupine Prototype see some play xD
Big commanders with decks and big creatures? Sign me up 🤣 clever use of those vehicles good sir, there's no way I would've considered using them like this before watching this video 😁
I wanted to include 5 cards in this build, but I don't know what cards to take out. 'Shaman of forgotten ways', 'Selvala, heart of the wilds', 'Polukranos, World Eater', 'Staff of Domination' and 'Concordant Crossroads'.
"So let's start things off with Tactic number 1, Start your engines. So we have Wayfarer's...." wait. TF? Where's Bauble? Am I some kind of joke to you?!?
Sees Ghaltha deck tech. Huh neat. Theme: Vehicles me: wait what?
My exact reaction
Makes perfect sense to me. th-cam.com/video/gr2iQ96em2w/w-d-xo.html
ikr
pro tip: watch movies on Kaldrostream. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Jason Brandon yea, I have been watching on kaldrostream for months myself :D
2:30 First of we've got... three mana-dorks? :'(
First off there's Wayfarer's Bauble. Today we mourn for the fallen king
Wayfarer's Bauble will always live in our hearts, stay strong brother!
First off there's Wayfarer's Bauble. Bro what is this Name??? 😂😂😂😂
Oh damn, you know it's going to be a crazy deck when wayfarer's bauble isn't the first card.
Green baybeeeeee
I'm actually pretty let down...it's like your dad saying we're gonna go play ball when he gets home from work today. Cadillacs and Dinosaur theme
Andrew Boyko YES! I understood that reference lol.
Gurren Lagann dinosaur.
I thought Cadillacs and dinosaurs too.
Saw the vehicles subtext and had to laugh like in your previous video imagining a giant dinosaur flying a ship!
Me: equips Swiftfoot Boots to Ghalta.
Table: YABBA DABBA DOOOOOO
I’m sorry is this love? Because I love this idea and hate that in all my attempts to design a Ghalta deck I never came up with this idea.
Dinos driving dragsters. I’m sold.
Holy cow this is genius. I never though I'd see a mono-green artifacts, let alone vehicles, deck!
2:30
First up there’s-
Me: wayfarers bauble!
Three mana dorks
Also me:😐
Side note: deaths' presence only works on things dying besides Ghalta because he will usually go back to the command zone.
All in all though, this video was great! I loved watching this tech Mitch, thanks for producing great content!
Surely she still dies though right?
@@peterosborne8315 unfortunately, in magic terms, "dying" represents going from the battlefield to the graveyard. Ghalta usually goes back to the command zone as a replacement effect, so it never hits the graveyard.
Not anymore, it works now

Grussgott!!! Thats gotta the be the most interesting deck in the history of your channel! Do a $100 version, please!!
I would also like to see a more expensive version, because vehicles are pretty cheap on their own.
I love ghalta! She's my clever girl

You had me at dinosaurs riding trains.
Dont judge me.
I've had a Grimlock EDH deck for a bit now and never even considered the vehicle side of the deck working for ghalta like this!
Mitch, this is genuinely one of your most clever/fun decks yet!!
With the card draw in green I run a psychosis crawler as another win con specially with greater good
Yes! My first Commander was Ghalt. I love this
Okay, I've seen all kinds of crazy builds, plenty of which are from here, but this? This is amazing. Well done, sir!
I've always loved this card!
This is a VERY unique build, I honestly didn't expect that anybody would be going with Vehicle Tribal in a Ghalta deck in a thousand years, let alone one that works really freaking well!
As always you never fail to impress, keep up the good work, Mitch!
It made me so happy to see you put Silvos in here. He’s one of my favorite cards of all time cards.
Ghalta: (Looks at vehicles) It’s free real estate.
*slaps roof of the car* - 'this car can fit so many dinosaurs'
I love the nuance and spin that you bring to all the decks you tech
Since you have big creatures I would recommend Ulvenwald Tracker for some creature removal. Having Ghalta come in with haste is so good I would recommend Surrak, the Hunt Caller
Very engaging and creative for a commander that seems very straight forward, great job.
Just imagine those little arms driving a big metal Irontread Crusher. Love it.
Ghalta drivin into town with Walk the Dinosaur playin, lookin sharp
Dinosaurs driving vehicles?? You madman!
Actually no dinos drive vehicles in this brew. It's other vehicles, mana dorks, some times other creatures and some times lands. I cannot object on the "madman" though.

Man, Mitch really is a genius of creativity when it comes to Commander brews. I love this idea for Ghalta!
Mitch. You’re a mad scientist. Your brews are so ridiculous, and I love it.
yay! I've been wanting this video for a while after you posted your Gishath deck. Thanks a ton that's a great idea to use vehicles!
Sandwurm convergence is also a great card for this deck, combining token generation with flying defense.
agree. perhaps whiptongue hydra is a good inclusion. I'd still use temur sabertooth in this deck to protect against exile
I love my ghatla deck, I've recently swapped it to omnath of mana but have always loved how easily ghalta comes back from the command zone time after time with it's Mana reductions, careful because a big 12/12 too early will surely paint you as the prime target in many cases/playgroups. Spellbook would work well in this deck, and it’s cheap too!
I've wanted to build Ghalta foreverr and this is actually amazing. Never would have considered Vehicle tribal being viable in commander ever. Creative as hell and looks so fun to pilot

Very cool idea. Makes me think of the art for Old Fogey with the crashed Time Machine in the background.
My most favorite video from you in recent history right here. This looks like so much fun!!
Love this idea! You can tap vehicles to essentially create Mana. You tap a creature, man a vehicle, tap the vehicle and man another vehicle. Love this idea. Every vehicle you tap creates even more power. Then untap all creatures and you can go wide.
This deck looks great. I'm probably buying this!
Food chain works wonders in this deck and can actually set up infinite combos with cards already in the deck like death's presence
Okay, I'm trying to understand this. When it's mentioned at 4:00. How do the vehicles crew each other when they are not artifact creatures unless they are crewed? Do you just use a cheap creature to crew a 1 person vehicle and go from there?
Crew one vehicle, use that vehicle to crew the next one, and so forth.
Thank you, i have a client that has been wanting to make a ghalta edh deck for a while now. This was alot of help
What I learned from "The Wire" - Crew that ish up and run it - Stringer Bell
🤷😂
Eyy, props for recognizing many great picks. Very similar to a Ghalta build I slapped together a couple days ago
It's hard not to appreciate the amount of milage you have gotten out of vehicles with your deck techs. Kudos.
Just finished my Boros Depala EDH deck.. and then you make a mono green Dino Vehicle deck with a commander I happen to have? That’s SO MUCH COOLER welp back to the drawing board

Just started building this deck today! With some tweaks... Will link desk list when completion of the deck has happened.

This deck reminds me of Grothama, the battlebond wurm. Is amazing
First stop, next stop and then ... Love the show dude
I think I loved when I had my Ghalta, where I played mass land animation.
Reminds me of the Wolf + Vehicle tribal EDH I came up with in Naya colors using Marath as the Commander. To think I even did this because I wanted to see Lupine Prototype see some play xD
first up there's wayf-
what happened?
Building this right away !!! Thanks Mitch
Elf tribal with Ghatla as the commander is best deck, big mana and beefy elves = Ghalta turn 3/4
But this deck look's really fun too.
8:34, the best part about it? It's repeatable! it could be a 45/45 XD!.
Unreasonable upgrades: WAR Nissa.
Whispersilk Cloak and for shroud and unblockable and maybe Surrak the hunt caller works well to give Ghalta haste.
*sees Ghalta. "Timmy Deck! Timmy Deck!"
*sees Vehicles. "Oh...ok. Call in the Flavor Judge!"
As the local flavor judge, I call this a huge win. th-cam.com/video/gr2iQ96em2w/w-d-xo.html
Mitch, you are an artist.
Damn, that is a mighty fine deck you have there.
Big commanders with decks and big creatures? Sign me up 🤣 clever use of those vehicles good sir, there's no way I would've considered using them like this before watching this video 😁
This is probably the first video where i actually though: I NEED THIS
I played Depala yesterday and I didn’t know that the vehicle’s could crew each other!
This is the type of deck that I must try. Definetely in my to do list... Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
I missed commander tonight. Had to work late.
This video helps
Love this deck! I second doing a $100.00 version!
To anyone who likes ghalta mono green control combo is a thing and you might want to check it out. It is really cool
Been building this commander and when I realized that vehicles could possibly be THE play to get Ghalta out as early as possible, I was flabbergasted
Just watch you play this on PleasantKenobi’s channel and it was both amazing and ridiculous
I'd recommend running Predator's Rapport, because in a pinch you could near double your life total
Great Build Mitch.
This looks absolutely fun!
Do you sell tiny stickers, with the golden pig logo on it, to slap on our cards marking our golden pigs?
I currently don't but I should!
Meganthegathering on Instagram may be able to help out with such ;)
Absolutely, I’m keen to mark some golden pigs ^^
topher Drake thanks
Caller of the Claw would be a another nice answer to a board wipe.
This is so well thought out, but also kinda janky. Right up my alley!
Mitch, you're a genius.
very well explained. I would never think of dinasuars riding flagships.
btw, what do you use to make your slideshows?
your canadian subscriber.
Dino Cars. I freaking love it.
Pretty nice deck I'd add in avenger of zendikar and hornet queen as some reasonable upgrades
Nothing like commanding a gigantic dinosaur with a bunch of cars driving around it, oh what a world of magic it is😂😂
Ghalta is King. Every time I run the deck I have to hum the Jurassic Park theme (my deck is very Dino heavy.)
That's next level IQ, my friend.
Dinosaur driving vehicles....the hell? I like it.
Dinosaurs and monster trucks? My perfect deck!
This deck sounds awesome.
A dinosaur shooting a bazooka? I approve!
I like the inclusion of Vehicles here. Seems quite the interesting concept though I’m not sure how well it works IRL
Oh you know... Just the break the budget a bit, and add Triumph of the Hordes... that makes the deck extra spicy!
