I had almost lost a battle on my belegar campaign and all my units fled except my ethereal engineer and my thane, and managed to keep routing enemy units until I won, was the most crazy thing I ever did streaming this game!
I find it interesting as you say "red, blue, yellow".
Me personally, i always go blue first until i reach at least the Lighning Strike skill (which is a pain in the ass to do for the Wood Elves due to it being at the end for them).
I usually rush Lightning strike and unit replenishment. The blue capstone is pretty good for dwarves, love me some extra research speed.
Am stupid for ignoring the blue? I only play on normal tho and pumping yellow and red seems effective. Lighnting strike does seem pretty good though when the goddammn waaghh comes
@@sparkyspinz9897 First point in The first blue skill, gives more moving distance on the world map, then you CAN go magic if you have a caster lord, but if not, better go at least until Lightning Strike.

Thanks for this. I recently started playing TWW2 after owning it for years and buying a ton of DLC but actually never installing it. Began as Skaven which I really enjoyed but after a while realized I basically played them as if they were dwarfs, turtling up and letting rattlingers and jezzails pepper everything to bits. I'm now trying out dwarfs to see if I like the ultimate turtle faction or not.
Dwarfs are so relaxing in battle compared to other factions

I would have liked if you told how you maximise your use of the heroes in battle. Being at the beginning of my campaign I don't really know what the master engineer is good for and so on.
Also going from general to special might be better. So first explain master engineers and then quickly add Stotchel Strongarm as a legendary hero. Same for the lords as they are all pretty similar. None has a mount and you always go for red then blue then yellow.
A master engineer buffs all range units, as well as being a quite good range unit himself. It is advisable to put him at the flanks of enemy units, as then he will be able to shoot through many models at the same time.
Get the ammo and the more damage for units

How do you get the ghost units I’ve been going everywhere trying to figure it out and I don’t understand where or what to do to get them
Either play as or confederate belegar ironhammer. Think you might need to own the king and the warlord dlc

I know its your personal opinion but your skilltrees are a mess and you will not have a good time in the harder difficulties with this.
Personally. On the Higher difficulties I just throw all my shit to regen and pray to God I can out maneuver cause ... well the AI kinda doesn't really care?
@@black06god23 yeah the AI just cheats like a MF on hard ;) and i really dont like, that you basically have to minmax everything and have to build doomstacks, to have a good time, but sadly it is what it is ;)
