Yes I don't put copper slip on that style either. I have in the past dipped the ears in an old tin of hard car wax. Don't know if it helps with movement or corrosion, but not had any issues either.
@17:05 OMG that seat base! 😮

I guess it's nice to know how it's done. I'm guessing it'll be pretty much the same procedure for my XC90. It has brake regeneration for the hybrid system. Not entirely sure if a computer is required to change the pads etc. Great tutorial btw. 😜

Same process as this one for the fronts, the regeneration is all done at the engine/motor side Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Why did you change your brake pads?
I use to own a xc40 (2019), bought it brand new and had to change all 4 disk and pads twice because the disk warped. Hence it warble when braking.
Service centre said it was due to wear and tear but I don’t except this reason. Still don’t know what’s the cause and sold it eventually though enjoyed the car. The car was less than 5 years and mileage was abt 50k kilometres.
Appreciate if anybody had the same issue and manage to solve it would share how it was resolved.

Thanks for the video. My brother managed to strip the break calliper screw by over tightening the screw as torque figure suggested online was wrong. Do you happen to know the calliper bolt's torque figure?

Sorry I don't, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

Found the figures from a friend’s garage. 40 Newton Meters for break calliper bolts and 140 Newton meters for the wheels.
