Don’t need a 6.6 to be a daily driver. A 3.0 in a 1/2 ton is more than enough for what most people use them for. The 3.0 is not meant to increase towing ability, it’s meant to do the same job as a 5.3, more efficiently.
This makes me happy knowing you’re working hard on these things. I have an LZO and when warranty is up I’ll be doing some weight savings.

IF you want a 6.6 go buy one! All this hocus pocus on these little engines will in the long run not work too well. But it's your money so have at it!
