Hey Nick, Just saw your TH-cam post on how you got your DORF back. Absolutely unbelievable and probably one of the most amazing stories (plus putting seller back in touch with daughter) I've ever heard. By the way, I'm the old guy who drives the Blue and Silver Highboy and of all things I live in Thayne, WY. I'll see you around town and say hi. All the Best, Chip
@@chipwhite1660 Hello Chip, Small world. I have definitely seen you around and waved. Thats a good looking truck you have there! You have to enjoy these old trucks as much as possible. Definitely come say hello next time our paths cross and we’ll talk trucks. Thank you for watching and have a great day!!
Very cool story. That’s one of my favorite things about these old trucks. They always have their own story. We’ve done several old trucks on our channel. We just picked up a 68 Highboy and we’re excited to bring it around.
Soo Sweet.. i have a 77 F150 4x4 lifted.. some call it a tall boy but its not.. spent the last 2 years resurrecting it.. I like the dentsides.. but the older bump sides i think are cooler.. nice to see this Truck and hear your story..
I got the same year truck exact truck I've had that truck for 20 years just love the truck mine's got springs on the front I'm here in Platteville Colorado
Dang man that's a crazy story on a few different levels. Beautiful truck. your reminiscing made me miss my high school days of me and my buddies messing around with old trucks. A few years ago I found my high school truck on marketplace. It looked just the same way as it did when I sold it. And he had just done a bunch of front end work to it. I messaged the guy about it and everything. But at that particular time I didn't really have the money, and also something happened that I wasn't able to go look at it when I said I would. And then it sold. It was just a 1994 f150 4x4 that I did all the body work on and my buddy painted it in my fathers garage, it had a cool set of 5 spoke steel rims I bought off a buddy. One was bent and wobbled real bad when I bought them. I straightened it with a homemade apparatus and a bottle jack. But the memories. And that is the truck that I drove across the country to start a new life. So dang watching this video just brought me back.
Thank you! That’s cool that you at least got to reconnect with it. Thats a big part of what makes them so great is all the memories that go with. I actually pull the motor last week its finally time for a rebuild. Thanks for watching and have a great day!!
Wonderful story awesome pickup truck.
