@@mikesand8136 I like that! We might put some different wheels on (hard to come by tires for those rims these days) but I think that's generally the plan!
Checked it out; yours looks like it's coming along nicely! Love the 60's fords. The second episode on our project here should be coming out in the next week or so.
ohh yah" the ring of fire. great song like old girl great truck. took me 30 years for mine. i hope she brings ya great joy. am very pleased hope yall are to fellas. good luck ill be watchin for updated vids
Nice! Same set up in ours. It's a great truck, and in pretty good shape for a 25 year old. Just wish it was four wheel drive :) But you don't need it for long pulls like this.
I swear these things are set up. That 250 has excellent door jams and door panels. I think people put trash in them park near the trees and drain fluids. Looks very good. With just putting brake fluid it took that hill?
Yep! I mean, it was a bit of a sketchy free-wheel, but Isaac got it stopped! 😂. We've been working on redoing it the last couple of years...you can check out the series on the channel here.
Couple things you need to know about those highways number one the co sensors got changed with the spark plugs number two at 80 to 90,000 miles just like these new foreign cars it must get new timing chain and gear so otherwise you'll get a hesitation that's just a little too far out for those old computers they have to be within seven degrees if they go more than 7° out you'll get a terrible hesitation you'll never get rid of timing chain and gears water pump is every 3 to 5 years depending on how much you use it that's just normal
I think we're keeping it for now, but thanks for the suggestion! ;-) We've been working on it this week, and it's getting there: stay tuned for the sequel coming out soon!
if you're gonna take the tank out and its that badly rusted you'll save yourself a lot of headaches just getting a new gas tank. You'll end up taking it out again anyway!
yeah the rear axle tanks start at like 80-150 but if you want the in cab ones they are about 2-300. I'd switch to the rear axle ones cuz they are safer and you have more room in the cab. besides if it leaks you don't want it by you, you'll want it as far away from you as possible!
What should we do with this truck? Let us know in the comments!
Do a full frame off restoration process of it
Put it back to 1974 stock, nothing wild just cool stock.
@@alexbaker9967 We'll see: that sounds like a chore! :)

That's a sweet highboy!!!✌
We're having a blast bringing it back to life!
Looking good!
😎😎
Keep it as original as possible. It is a beautiful piece of history.
I think that's our plan for now! Not going to do anything too crazy
This guy knows his stuff. Take apart a carb, that's a job, man. And almost rebuilding on the spot. Asewsome.
Good job and good luck on your restoration I'm
Great job guys! Looking forward to the rest of this series!
Best quote 'This stuff is work - but it's not work.' Put it on a t-shirt!
Hehey, good idea! This project series is going to get GOOD, let me tell you!
Nice man! I am in the process of building a 1965 F250 4x4. Good Luck with the repairs!

We are really enjoying it! Stay tuned for the future episodes in the journey!
New to your channel😎🙋🏻♂️. Very interesting project 👍 Your channel is going like the foam I can felt it 👍👍
Glad you liked it! More videos coming soon!
A truck well worthy of restoration, beautiful truck. Now that 7.3L sounds marvelous. Where are you in Oklahoma, I live in Idabel?
We are up in the OKC Metro area. Yeah, I'm not sure which is the classic: the '74 or the '97 F-350 :)
@@ljmproductions1 I have a 96 F250 with 7.3 5 speed and its a real classic to me.

I have a 73 f250 camper special that came factory the same color.... just wish mine was 4x4
That's awesome! 4x4 is cool for sure, but any old truck has it's cool factor in my opinion :)
I need that truck ! Perfect year, Why can't I find one
This was a find for sure. I don't know how many of them are out there, but keep looking!
9:20 😬 🤭 😬 🤭
Do it right nice truck ford had 360 4v or 360 2v my brother in law had one great truck

@@ljmproductions1 you can get them off rockauto for like 80. thats for a 94 f150 but i dont think it would be too much more!
