CANIK TP9SF First Impressions !!!

- My first impression of the CANIK TP9SF Pistol from Century Arms. So far I believe it is one of the best pistols out there under $400 bucks. Stay tuned for further evaluations of the Canik TP9SF.

Canik makes superior handguns. I own 6 different models, all of them are phenomenal!

@@AverageGIJoeOutdoors yes, METE and SFx Rival are top of the line. Canik just released a METE SF 4.2" for carry and concealment that is absolutely amazing!

@@AverageGIJoeOutdoors this new model is a *METE SF,* not the TP9 SF. The latter has a 4.6" barrel, the former 4.2".

for the money they are really hard to pass up. and are great guns for what they cost.
Yeah, I first bought the Canik when they came out 10 or 12 years ago I own many sense now I have the TP9SF and the SFT METE, Two of my Favorite pistols, hands-down

I’m glad you went back in clarified the slide not locking back because it amazes me how many guys claim the gun didn’t lock back and they ride that slide with their thumb like their life depended on it and are oblivious. I love my Caniks, some of the best guns out there. If these were made in the us they’d be $600+

I think you will come to like that one. I bought a TP9 Elite SC about a year ago and thus far I am very impressed with it. If I were to get another it would be the model you have but in black. I understand that under the caracole is a corrosion resistant finish but I would expect the Black would fare better over time. I have two Caniks. Thew first one I got was a CZ75 clone they were making several years back and it has been fantastic. I don't think they are making those any longer so I am glad I got one when I did.
I have had a chance to shoot it some more since I shot the video. It is a good weapon for the price for sure. I ordered the METE the other day and will have a video to compare the two and give an update on the TP9SF and how it is holding up. I have the Canik TP9SC Elite, the TP9SF Elite and the TP9. The trigger on the TP was a bit stiffer than those on my Elites. I improved the trigger pull on my TP SF by installing the Galloway Precision Reduced Power Spring Kit for Canik, that is the striker block and trigger return springs. Its trigger feels more like the triggers on my Elites. It's not a difficult fix.
I picked up 2 of the METE series..... they have really sweet triggers in them, I did videos on them as well. Thanks for checking out the channel.
You can interchange slide and lower with walther PPQ, for a Frakenbuild... but it is a very great gun and trigger. A Turkish Walther clone that is fully compatible with slide or lower of a PPQ. Only difference is prics and mag compatibility.
yeah I read that they were basically just a walther clone..... you can interchange the slides with the METE SFT and METE SF also...... was kind of neat I thought, although I have not shot them that way...... the TP9SF slide will go on them as well....... so all 3 of my caniks will use the same slide if I want..... thanks for checking out the video man I appreciate it.
This gun beats guns priced at thousands it thst good man 60000 no jams its a keeper 😊
This is one of those guns I feel like I'll automatically buy but I also like the Walther PDP. But it seems like the trigger on this gun might be just as good or close enough for over $200 less.
If you are looking at this look into the Canik Mete SF or SFT. They are both better in my opinion and are both less than the pdp. I recently traded my php for a new shotgun for my wife. Thanks for checking out the channel and stopping by.

I just bought a TP9SF last week. Although mine cost a little more. And I only got one magazine.

I wish I got it in this color but they only had the black and grey. I love mine I'm not a Glock fan they're good guns but I love the trigger the feel the grip angle everything of this better than the 19. I wish I can get over the grip angle of Glock I'm just not accurate with a Glock

Like my sf alot so I picked up the elite SC both are😀😄
The SC is a bit fat in my hand. even with the extended mag in it, it still feels a bit fat and a bit short for me. But I agree they all are nice handguns. Thanks for stopping by the channel and checking it out. I am trying to get my sub numbers up before the end of the year. If you like the channel think about subbing. I own 1 or these but I left handed because of it accident when I was a kid so I would need a left handed holster.

That holster cost $60 on Canik site but Canik give it for free if anyone purchase their firearm.

Your thumb rode the slide stop. Watch the video again in detail. Watch the thumb placement. Sometimes its not the gun, but its easy to blame unless we check our grip.
yeah that is what I gathered as well...... other than that it's a great pistol for what they cost...... I recently got a METE SF and SFT. Thanks for checking it out and checking out the channel I appreciate it.
Man I don’t know either get the Canik TP9SF or SpringField XD 9mm. Canik is at $378 and heard lot of good things but I also like the XD and it’s at $410 for Black Friday at my local gun store.
I have reviewed a bunch of Caniks on the channel. They have all shot really well and have really good triggers. I would spend a little more and get the METE SF. or METE SFT. Great guns. Thanks for checking out the channel. Come back and see me again.
