      No fees for education, it comes from the National Insurance we pay. However, private schools cost small fortune.
      Going back ‘home’ won’t be possible for at least the first 3 years or so.

    Dr Paul, I found your breakdown and the analysis into the U.K. economy very interesting. I am 74, a pensioner, living in U.K. since 1968.
    Your fingers are firmly on the pulse of your finance. Therefore, I am surprised by two points you made about the expenses. Buying a smaller car works out cheaper than a leashed one. It is an investment. Secondly, subscription for Graze? All you have to do is buy the nuts and other items from a health food store or Indian store, take handful everyday in a small plastic container for your snack. That’s lot cheaper, you know that.

      Thanks for watching my video and your insightful feedback.I am aware of my overspending on car leases. I don't want to own a second car for long term if my workplace is near my home. At present my workplace changes every 6-12 month so I need a car and this will go on till 2024. I will decide about long term car then.About Graze, I have stopped my subscription and using the nuts from Lidl nowadays.

    Will you be extending your home payment and keep investing in greater proportion?
    Or are you prioritising paying home completely as soon as possible?
    Also do any imgs prefer to not buy homes and just keep shifting and living on rent and allocate greater portion to investing ?

      I usually allocate my spare funds for overpayment of mortgage. But in market crash situations like now, I have deployed more money for equity investments. House prices appreciate significantly in the UK so it is a good investment to have more equity in my own home. This is also important as the interest rates will go up in the next few years. It's a personal choice to not buy a home and move around the region.It involves a lot of hassle to move houses every year particularly if you have family and children. Also, you won't save a lot more by renting as it is quite costly.

    Hii sir. If we complete Ms surgery in India. And passed mrcs. For doing super specialty in UK. Is mrcs enough. Do we need to do gen sx again in UK like in USA. Or with mrcs can we directly go to super specialty. If so how many yrs is ss in UK. Plzzz clarify sir. There are lot of people who want to know this

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MRCS is the entrance exam for higher specialist surgical training which is usually between 5-7 years from ST3.General surgery will be included in your program based on your particular specialty. You cannot enter training directly with MRCS, you will have to clear the national interview process.

    Sir,if someone is doing mbbs in India rn and has no financial problems.Is it better to give neet pg and work as a pg in india then go for mrcp/mrcs or Is it better to give plab and work as a pg in uk from the beginning?can't a person just do a super speciality training for 2 to 3 years after ms in india?.I know maybe I am asking stupid questons but i wanted to know😅.
    May God bless you sir.

      @SumanPaulDoc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's always better to enter the NHS after PLAB. This will help you become a consultant quicker. It's never going to be a smooth transition after PG+ MRCP/MRCS. For most competitive specialty you can never enter training at a later stage.

      @@SumanPaulDocfor example If someone does ms orthopaedics from India.Now we know we don't have mch/dm like degree for a field like orthopaedics.So most of the orthopaedic surgeons do a fellowship in their favourite speciality..for example some ortho surgeon will do super specialization fellowship in spine surgery (which is a branch of orthopaedic surgery).now the question is that if someone does ms orthopaedics from India and he has to go for a fellowship to do super specialization in let's say spine surgery..does the person have to qualify mrcs and do the post graduation in ortho surgery again or can he do super speciality fellowship of spine surgery only?
      In other words i am asking if a person has done ms in a branch like orthopaedics and he has to do super specialization in a sub speciality of orthopaedics in uk what will be the procedure?
