    curiousity gap and focusing on myself, not centering the man, thats the best tip. as soon as i break up with my 1 year long relationship, i realized i cared less about my life, my hobbies etc. It's been one month now, I lost 3 kilos, start to work on my piano and ballet techniques, gain money for myself and save them for myself, i realized i completely forgot how talented i am so i quite miss the time with myself, on myself and on the things i know and talented of. i'm so much capable than this relationship, i feel very healthy and aware of myself. and i feel like 17 again. so much energy and time for the things i like. and i'm caring more about friends which i really enjoy.

    I think it all comes down to what sort of man your dealing with. If it's one that thinks a lot of him self above others, and you reqlly have to have him then yes unfortunately one has to go down that rediculous route of pretending your not interested. But then you have to keep that up because the moment you let it slip that you like him - he will be off looking for someone else that doesn't seem to like him.
    Or you can go for a nice more old fashioned type man who isn't super into himself, doesn't play games and appreciates and welcomes interest from someone who is nice enough to respond to him the same day and see him as worthy of showing interest to.
    In my experience unfortunately what this guy is saying is true of a lot of men these days. And I blame it on the internet as they can get whatever they want at the push of a button so where's the excitmement - they've evolved to now wanting what they can't have.....someone that's interested but not interested, there but not there. Happeneing but not really happening. It's rediculous I feel sorry for them and a very lonely place to be!

    Curiosity gap rang a bell for me. I am not currently dating, but I am ready to date again. I am a senior and very aware of my past behaviors that did not provide me with the relationship experience I hoped for. I really resonate with your advice and insights. I have someone who is becoming a friend through doing service activities for my religious organization. He is a gentleman, very kind and considerate, a masculine man, providing for is two children and mother. He is attentive, and then he pulls away, but always wants to be of service to me if her can. Sometimes it's confusing, and I know I can "over-think" things. I also have an emotional "trigger" around rejection so I'm having a hard time trusting my perceptions. We're not in a romantic relationship, but I do find myself thinking about the possibillity, then I feel silly and talk myself out it. I'm older by a number of years, but he is a 50 year old man, so age is "just a number". I'll keep watching your videos because they are they most "grounded" and meaningful ones I have come across. Thank you so much for reading this long message! And your wonderful insights about how to understand men! 🙏🏾💖

    I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Men and women think very differently from each other.
    Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. Generally, women are even more social than men are. After something bad happens, a woman quickly rushes to talk to all of her female friends to get support, whereas a man can isolate himself and grief alone.
    Women tend to be more emotionally intelligent, more caring, more empathic, more compassionate, more affectionate, more loyal, more nurturing, more understanding, more sympathetic, more sensitive, more kind-hearted, more peaceful, more calmer, more gentle, more expressive, more intuitive, and more outward than men are, and thus bond more with other women in a special way that they can’t with men. Men, on the other hand, are not that emotional, and thus can’t bond with other men in a special way. Women regulate emotion better.
    Women are more comfortable being around with other women than they are with men. They have a type of bond that usually men with women won’t really have, or with men and men. Also, girls that are friends touch each other in ways that guys just don’t.

    • @Sarah-kv3qs
      @Sarah-kv3qs ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Do you have male friends? As a lot of them are empathic and all these things you listed. A lot of them have guys friends they confide in/have strong friendships with etc. lot of things for women and men to bond over if they have shared interests and values. We aren’t better than men it’s really based on the individual

    • @icysnow57cold64
      @icysnow57cold64 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sarah-kv3qs I heard that lesbian relationships are healthier because they understand each other. If both partners understand each other, they won’t want to break up with each other. I also heard that women have higher rates of depression when married (in straight relationships). There is a very small percent of women that are happy in heterosexual relationships.
      So it's very hard for men and women to bond with each other and have a strong bond with each other. Both men and women think differently, behave differently, react in a different way.

    • @Sweetnsassydee
      @Sweetnsassydee ปีที่แล้ว

      @@icysnow57cold64 I wasn’t homosexual at first. I had the worse relationship with men they just weren’t understanding or sweet enough but I am very sensitive so I don’t blame them completely. I had a friend who was always there through everything. We ended up getting in a relationship and she is the best friend, best lover, best everything! Even though I see how amazing a homosexual relationship is, If we don’t work forever I think she will be the only woman I will ever be with.

    • @icysnow57cold64
      @icysnow57cold64 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sweetnsassydee Women feel a lot safer in general with other women than they do with men if either is alone with each other, and it is easier for women to trust other women more than it is to trust a man.
      Men are usually much lonelier than women are. Men don't often talk about their personal problems with their male friends like how women do with their female friends. Females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do.
      Most daughters have a very strong bond with their mother, while they don’t have one with their father, and most sons don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their mother nor their father. Most females have a very strong bond with their sisters, while they don’t have one with their brothers, and most males don’t have that strong of a bond with neither their sisters nor their brothers.
      A big reason why many women hope to have a daughter instead of a son when they are trying to get pregnant is for the experiences one doesn't get with a son, like shopping for her prom dress together or going for mother/daughter manicures. In many cases as a girl grows up, she becomes closer to her mother whereas boys aren't generally as close with their parents. And also, it's also harder for females to bond with their brothers than it is with their sisters for the exact same reasons.
      The bond that two females have with each other is the strongest bond of them all, and that's one of the reasons why sayings like “girls always have to stick together” exist. The friendship of males and females can hardly be as good as a female to a female relationship from a woman’s point of view. How can a man and woman have a special strong type of bond with each other if women have a special strong type of bond with each other while men don’t have one with each other?

    • @icysnow57cold64
      @icysnow57cold64 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Sweetnsassydee Men and women are very psychologically different from each other, and so they think very differently from each other, and that would make it very hard for them to bond with each other.
      Male and female brains are wired very differently from each other. Females produce a lot more oxytocin than males do. And that's a reason why women tend to hug a lot more and be a lot more physically affectionate than men do.
      Females have a larger frontal cortex than males, making them a lot more emotional than males are. Also, males and females produce hormones that are very different from each other that affect their brains and their way of thinking very differently from each other. Male bodies usually produce high levels of testosterone and female bodies usually produce high levels of estrogen. So males and females are both mentally and physically different from each other, and that would probably make it harder for them to bond with each other.
      Women have oxytocin levels that are 8 times higher than in men. For women, oxytocin creates a strong emotional bond.
      It is released 3 times in a woman’s life at a very intense level. women have better endorphin release capacity than men

    My Man , I don't know what to say about his behavior. He is moody. He just seen zone my message and with that im learning not to care anymore but its disrespectful in my part because me i always reply fast i dont want him to wait. I don't know, i feel like my love for him isnt 100% anymore and probably him too 🤷

    I want to say this, it's not the relationship that's the problem, it is you. If you truly don't know yourself, how are you going to show up authentically in a relationship? Find you first!!
