He complains that he can't do anything and that he is forced to stare at a blinking screen and there's nothing he can do to get better. Practice mode is sitting right there. You can even train while waiting for matches.

He only ever loses because the game doesn't allow him to block (when he is mashing), or randomly drops his inputs (but never the opponent's), or is balanced poorly (yet he insists on playing low tier characters to have an excuse for losing).
