Just about to buy an Oryx chassis, I'm a photorapher that has been using RRS quick release system for years, pity you don't have any large photos or video of you arca rail mounted on the oryx.
@@MDTTAC My dealer doesn't have the arca rail in stock, so what I'm wanting to know is how far back does the rail have usable griping surface, as I will be tripod mounting the rifle so obviously looking to get the mounting point close to the CG as possible. action will be Howa SA 26" varmint barrel.
We aren't familiar with the Sig Cross to provide an accurate answer, but if you can measure the spot on your forend with a measuring tape it will give you a good idea of what the best bit will be.
why not make the rifle ARCA rail the same width as a picatinny rail system then you don't need to buy special holding clamps that hold a bipod on. How many people tat shoot actually install a camera ? one out of a million ?
That would change the function of the rail quite drastically as you would be making a new design used on a specific pattern that doesn't exist. ARCA has become very popular in the shooting industry for tripods, and bipods as a quick and easily adjusted mounting system.
Camera tripod mounting plates... I’ve been using arca-Swiss gear for years now.
Have a link for the ESS grip/ arca plate that sandwiches over infront of the mag well?
It can be found here: mdttac.com/ess-foregrip-arca-adapter/
There's a typo on the video tile. You wrote isnall not install!
Is there a Torque specification for the M-Lok Screws? Thanks.
You can use 15 - 20 inch pounds if you would like.

There will be more coming!

It goes all the way to the magazine well.
@@MDTTAC Thanks for the info, I'll order it in now.
Sounds good!
Which length is a better fit for a Sig Cross? 8.6 or the 10.2?

Can it be used on Oryx?
Yes, the Oryx has M-Lok, and our M-Lok ARCA rail will fit. But Oryx also has a specific ARCA rail for their chassis which is a great way to go.
what size would you suggest for lss-XL Gen 1?? will it still work?
We offer our 6" bolted ARCA/RRS adapter for your chassis.
