@Charozi Hi, my bandlab videos have colour coded thumbnails... A blue background for the computer based browser version and a red background for the mobile version.
Sgt 4chan Now the browser version of bandlab can be accessed directly from the bandlab website, bandlab assistant is only used to install cakewalk (on windows) or to download some bandlab loops and samples to your computer.
trippey _gamer34 Hi, usually this is because you need to change the Google chrome privacy settings. Click on the 3 dots at the top right of the Google chrome window, click on settings, then click on privacy and security. Now click on microphone and click on allow. Also select a default microphone.
im making a beat on the pc on the website but it gets laggy when in add to much stuff but i have only added 5 rows and its lagging bad and very slow i also have a 3070 and a powerful cpu idk what to do
@dbf2256 BandLab just updated there servers over the last week, so maybe things are better now. It doesn't use much GPU but mainly RAM and CPU. Try right mouse clicking the windows task bar and clicking on Task Manager, then check your memory and CPU usage to see if they are getting close to 100%. Also, close any other open apps or browser windows. Or clear your browser cache, as the cache can slow the browser down.
Leahtis Trahmad Hi, you were told right, cakewalk is a different product and only works on a Windows PC, this is the google chrome web browser version of BandLab mobile.
Tattoo Potato Hi, you can download bandlab assistant onto apple mac computers and, if you install Google chrome web browser, you can use bandlab on your mac. There are other free DAWs you can use on mac too. Garageband shares some features with apple's other DAW (logic pro) but you can't upgrade to logic pro from garageband, you have to buy logic pro separately instead. I hope this info is helpful.
@cgtmusicalcovers8994 Hi, both the mobile app version and the browser version need an internet connection to save, open a project and add new content or plugins. You need an internet connection to log in to the browser version also. However, once logged in, you don't need an internet connection to record audio or record midi but just remember to connect back to the Internet to save your project.
fromHeaven2LA Hi, BandLab Assistant has recently been updated so has all the current vocal preset fx. There is no autopitch (bandlab version of autotune) though.
Immanuel Peter The midi instruments appear in the web browser and you don't need to download them again. You download midi instruments on the mobile app version (from the BandLab cloud server) because you create songs on your device. The web version runs directly from the BandLab cloud server so it doesn't download the midi instruments to your computer like it does for the mobile app.
Immanuel Peter Hi, you're welcome. You need to export from the web browser version if you want to export in mp3 format, check out my tutorial on how to export to mp3... th-cam.com/video/JD27fjgxdIU/w-d-xo.html
Tenko Ginel You need to be online to log in to the BandLab software, to save a project, to add midi tracks, to add fx to a track, and various other things... So yes
KALIBABII Hi, set up your mic in the win10/mac system settings before you start BandLab Assist. Then once you are in the BandLab app you should be able to select your mic from the input list in the bottom left of the screen. The first time you try to select an input win10 will usually create a pop up message asking you if you want BandLab to use your microphone... So click on yes. If you didn't click yes, you will need to turn on app access to your mic in the microphone privacy settings.
hehe:) Yes... Click on the 3 lines at the top left of the bandlab window (next to the bandlab logo), click on View on the popup menu, then click on Full Screen
SWAGGY DON On the online pc version of bandlab, when you open a new project in a web browser, there is the bandlab logo at the top left of the project window (just above where it says New Track). To the left of the bandlab logo is an icon with 3 horizontal lines on it.
TayCapone X Kevo Is it just the beat or the whole song? Are you using an audio interface or the pc soundcard? Most commonly this is because the soundcard or interface is not using an asio driver or the buffer size in the soundcard/interface/driver is not set large enough to process the data properly. Less common but still possible is that the beat is too loud and the static is the sound caused by digital clipping.
Kayla Wilkins Hi, BandLab can be installed on android or ios devices but not Mac or Windows. On Mac or Windows, you have to use the online version, which runs in a browser window. Just type in bandlab.com into your browser. On all versions, your projects and songs are held on the BandLab cloud server. So yes, you can run BandLab on a MacBook (through a Internet browser window) but you can't download BandLab as an app.
Blixiyy Hi, thank you for your very good question. The version of BandLab I show in this video runs inside the Google Chrome web browser so as long as you can run the Google Chrome app on your Chromebook you should be able to run this version of BandLab. I say should because some Chromebooks are just too slow or don't have enough ram. If you have a Chromebook with the Google Chrome app installed, follow my video and give it a try. Good Luck.
@@IbandUK for me I can’t use bandlab it keeps saying I need the update my browser. It’s been updated and it still won’t let me use bandlab any help or suggestions will be very appreciated
Jeremie Sanders Hi, are you using the Google Chrome browser? Bandlab will tell you that you need to update your browser if you try to open it in a browser that isn't Google Chrome. You may have to set Google Chrome as your default browser or open the Google Chrome browser before running BandLab if your default browser isn't Google Chrome, as BandLab will try to open the default if a browser isn't already open.
Pevindi Thehara Hi, not really, both the mobile and the online version store your projects on the BandLab cloud server, so require you to be online. Even Cakewalk by BandLab has now been changed so you have to log into the BandLab cloud server if you want to use all its functions.
Nebula Hi, if you are using Windows 10, there is a microphone privacy setting so make sure desktop app access is on... type microphone into the search box in the taskbar, select microphone privacy, scroll down and make sure Allow Desktop Apps To Access Your Microphone is switched on. Then click on a vocal track in bandlab chrome and make sure the mic is selected in the first drop down list under input (bottom left of screen). Importing vocals as wave files from your computer should not be a problem but I don't recommend moving projects between bandlab mobile and bandlab chrome... In my experience they don't play nicely together and I have ended up with corrupted projects because of this.

Jay Antony Rosario Hi, in the last few months bandlab have made changes to the mobile version but not to the web version. The result now is that the web version no longer supports songs created with the mobile version that include any of the changes. If you want to work on a song created on the mobile version on the web version, I suggest creating a version of your mobile project that has all mobile fx removed and make sure any midi instruments used are also available in the web version. This should hopefully avoid the project version becoming corrupt.
