I love it thanks. I had a warenty problem with the RS lyrik so I have the latest model now. I just need more riding time. Best most fun bike I've ridden
Bro!! Where have I been? I stumbled across this after following ur RC channel for over a couple yrs! Bingo!! Had no clue you had this channel. 💪🏾Subbed here, too💪🏾
Hey Francis. I came down from Reno and stayed at Rockaway Beach this past weekend. Did the trails of San Pedro Mountain...What fun! Sure am sorry that I missed you...and the Heckler!
I have a Rocky Mountain Altitude Ebike. Thinking of upgrading so I rode a Heckler Ebike. My bike has 108nm max torque. The heckler is only 85nm and its noticeable in the highest assist mode. I didn't like the mullet set up, it seemed to handle funny. My 3 year old RM is really a great bike. I think I will go back and just get another RM.
Got a Heckler CC MX AXS Reserve for 42% off. My 1st e-bike coming off yeti asb150 and very impressed w the heckler. Been riding in the PNW winter conditions and this bike climbs and track so well on muddy terrain. Highly recommended!
Liked the Heckler but I need a small only comes in 27.5 . I didn’t want to wait for the newly redesigned Orbea Wild with the Bosch motor. I ended up with Transition Repeater for $10,000 with Sram xo1 components and Magura brakes I thought that was a pretty fair price, I also have the AXS on my other bike if I want to swap it ! Nice review.
I’m leaning towards the Heckler but also considering the Yeti 160E and new Ibis Oso. I’ve always preferred the DW link over VPP for pedaling efficiency but not sure how much that matters with a motor. Not trying to race and like the idea of a fun playful bike that feels lighter than it actually is. I have a Ripmo V4 and SC 5010. Which would you chose for South East trails?
I found a cc reserve x0 axs build for $8624.55 red 2024 is this bike still worth buying? I like the bigger battery since im a heavy 230lb guy and carry alot of water. I am coming off a V1 megatower cc xt build. I like the idea of riding 25 to 35 miles vs 10 to 20 at a time. Missouri and Arkansas trails so chunk roots and climbs. Or should i stick with a v1 mega and get a tallboy as a trail bije? I am a fanboy of Santa Cruz and have bought 5 of their bikes and their warranty and customer service is too notch, but have been looking at the orbea as well. I guess i would like 2 bikes one trail lighter weight and something incsn ride long distance and do Enduro on. Thank you for a great video
The big brands have painted themselves into a corner with their pricing.. will be interesting to see how they pivot in a slowing economy/recession. Specialized blowing levos out right now I expect we will see more of that.
Are you kidding? $10-14 k, no problem😜...I luv eating ramen noodles every meal and living out of my truck, and then donating plasma and a kidney to afford this rig. It's nice but I don't want to donate the other kidney too...hard to ride when dead! Get it, 'cause no kidneys left or right!😁 But pricey 4 sure💸💎💰
@@drone_tech_review 💯mostly agree...they could offer just frame-set (w/motor + battery of course). Then peeps can add on their high end components and upgrade as needed. That takes it down to a mere 5/6K USD...but still expensive...maybe only then donate just one kidney to finance it!😂
@@craig8638 no, definitely not. That was just classic inventory reduction. 4-day sale and all done now. Such an incredible deal that 4 of my friends bought one.
I sold my orbea rise h and bought a heckler C S. The orbea didnt descend that well. The heckler rides fantastic and I dont really see the appeal on low power ebikes like the Rise after riding one for a while. The heckler is overpriced I agree, for 10k I expect fox factory and higher end components.
love santa cruz bikes but experience with shimano motors packing up with e010 error codes with low miles on them makes me stay well clear of bikes with them in.
@@EMTBReview speed torque sensor that cant be fixed, was talking to an e bike motor specialist who had said to me once i got that e010 error code i could send it to him and he would look at it but his honest opinion was to throw it in the bin as he had a shelf load of them waiting to be scrapped with that exact problem, he had also said maybe next time get a bosch as he had uber rider bikes in with 20k on that just needed bearing replacements they were an easy motor to sort out
How did you find the range to be on this bike? I ride a lot in boost mode because I’m old and heavier guy. Any comments on the range I’ve seen other people complain about the range even with the 720 battery that their buddies bikes have a lot more left at the end of the ride than they do any comments I would be appreciated.
The range is just fine and dialed. It is just a hair less than a 700wh Levo or 700wh Bosch equipped bike. All in all, not really a factor on group rides as this bike can keep up in speed and range.
Which will your recommend the mullet or the 29er front and rear thanks . My height is 5’10 and we always riding at auburn, nevada and rockville . Thanks
Depends on riding style preferences and location. 29er for stability, speed, and rollover capabilities. MX if you want a more playful, flickable rear end. 😉
I love it. But it’s not 9,000 worth of fun. The SantCruz, Pivot, Specialized, have no value. I spent 4400 on a EMTB then upgraded the fork and shock, bars, stem, seat with 1100 in upgrades and I cannot have any more fun. Legally. Lol. . And not a chance in he double hockey sticks that the SC is 4000 more fun. No way. Stuff is priced way out of control
Stop whining! If you can’t afford it, that’s not their problem!!!! If you can’t afford a Porsche, don’t try to convince us that we should should settle for a yugo!
Ordered a MX-R last night, cant wait, I'm so freaking excited
How has the heckler been treating you?

Is it really that big of a difference for the max torque?
