Combined footage of me shooting there and at the grain silos.

Hi Alex, from East Yorkshire. Nice to see those skyrats falling. I had a superb shot the other day on one. Sitting with a cold beer in my garden bar, when one landed on my patio, 12 yards away. Rifle out from behind the bar. Took the shot, hitting it straight between the shoulders, and the pellet came out the beak. It never moved or twitched. Trouble is, there was blood everywhere, and I had to get the hose out and wash down before the wife came out. She is up and mobile now, just using one crutch, but that does have some disadvantages for my shooting in the garden. Big Steve.
A cold beer in the garden, your gun next to you, some sky rat shooting - sounds great, mate 🙂 And I'm glad your wife is recovering.

Awesome video Alex wow there are a lot of birds to shoot ... awesome pest control job. Also, watching this video just proves that you don't have to shoot slugs at a very high FPS. 900 fps is perfect, and the orion scope cam 📷 makes a very clear picture or video, I must say I have a Firefly es8 90 camera I'm thinking getting the one he has for the cam I have hopefully it will works because I still can't get the camera to work with the sideshot and its probably because I don't have patience thanks for sharing buddy really enjoy your videos be safe my friend 👍

Me personally I'm not a fan of the Fireflies... Another very very bad experience recently with their new XS camera. I did it only because my shooting buddy wanted me to try it; I don't think I'll make the same mistake again, and I told Erlis the same...

It is crazy that Collared Doves are protected in the UK(!) Widely accepted as the first species to go global without human assistance in some way. Delicious too - better than wood pigeon. Another spine shot @7:20
Yes, buddy, I know they're protected in the UK, but are still a problem in many countries worldwide - the US is one example. The rest of Europe too.

So, I was wondering which of your two self loading semi autos do you like more, the Leshiy2 or the Huben K1?
The K1. More accurate, more powerful in both .22 and .25, match grade trigger, longer barrel due to the bullpup design. But the L2 wins in one department - It's a much simpler design and easier to service.

Hey, bud, and thanks for watching. The reg is set to a little over 150 bar, and for long range I definitely recommend the heavier 38 grainers.

@@5euk oh, that depends on the weather conditions, but IMO both 33 and 38 are good for distances well over 100 yards. It's just that the 38 bucks wind better.

@@5euk no, buddy. 38 grains and 33. Those are the only weights of n .253. And for semi auto airguns you need .253 - .250 or .251 are too loose in the magazines.

The shot taken at 10:17 looks like it either went through the pigeon, or deflected off of it, into the side of the silo behind. There’s a definite ding in the sheet metal afterwards.
It went straight through, mate. Those slugs hit pretty hard and the distance wasn't too long.

What is the recommended slug for huben k1 5.5
I haven't shot the gun in that caliber, but I would suggest you try a slug with a larger diameter - 5.53, for instance, I know some brands make those, such as ZAN. Not sure if there are 5.54. If you try smaller ones, they'll go back and forth in the mag and obstruct its rotation, plus there'll be no consistency in the shot placement if some of them are shot out of the magazine, and others go straight in the barrel when you tilt the rifle.
،hi .. I love huben k1 but it is not easy to pick up the right slug.. please do a full review of the gun and show us how accurate it is on 50 and 100 yards.
You need slugs with a larger diameter, such as the ones I've used in this video, .253. It's the same in .22.

@@joedirtee6751 I shoot at various distances, usually up to about 120-130 yards, and right now the gun is set to 67 fpe at the muzzle with 38 grain slugs. If memory serves, in the video in question I shot 33 grain and 38 grain airgun slugs.

some good shooting but I have to ask just a question, since white wing doves and morning doves are protected and regulated by season under the federal migratory bird guidlines who gave you permission to violate those game laws ? Just asking .I have done considerable cull hunting for a variety of species over the years, on several continents and I always required written proof any permission to harvest any recognized, regulated game species.
John, I don't know where you are, but there's no regulation here for feral pigeons of a certain coloration. Saying "federal" shows you think I'm States-side; I'm not 🙂

No, Travis, "he" is being careful - at an angle the roofs and walls are safe, plus the pigeons land mostly in the beams which are made of solid steel. I said myself that I felt kinda stupid shooting indoors with such a heavy slug.

And besides, the truth is this construction is very old, I keep trying to explain my viewers the owners care little about what's going on there. They told me so. They were worried about the silos more, before they realized I could not damage their steel walls.
