Since I previously connnected to the internet via usb wireless nic it persisted in connecting to internet. I removed the usb nic, follow your steps and the option to "I don't have internet' showed up.
Dude your video rocks. Escaping the MS account setup was confusing on my latest Win11 setup until I found your video. 5-stars* for effort & presentation. This worked for me just like your video showed!
Thanks for posting this. Its nice to know theres a way to bypass the Microsoft account requirement. Because all i want to do is set it up and get started with installing my steam Games because they take a while to install
I have a new HP 15.6" Laptop just like that one you're showing. For some reason the command prompt won't load. I've tried Shift+F10, CTRL+F10, Shift+FN+F10, but nothing loads that command prompt. I'm stuck and about to return the laptop and move on with life. Any ideas why that won't load?
Hey. When first powering on the PC tap f10 repeatedly to force it into the setup menu. Once there, disable secure boot and restart. This should allow you to bring up the command prompt. If not, let me know. Thanks!
@@RayKnowsTech Thank you for the reply. I got into the BIOS and disabled secure boot. Window still won't bring up the command prompt on my particular laptop.
@@RayKnowsTech The OS listed on the box is "Windows 11 in S Mode". Other than that I'm not sure how to tell. Is there a way to get it out of that? I appreciate the help.
@@jmans093 Hey, so thats the problem. Windows S mode is not normal Windows. Its a locked down version of Windows that does not allow you to make any changes to your pc or install any software that doesnt come from the Microsoft store. If you are certain secure boot is disabled, because that will typically remove it from S Mode, the only way to take windows out of S Mode is from Windows. Windows S mode is really meant for kids or people you want to limit what they can do on the PC. If you do return it just get one with regular windows and this method will work.
Hey, You can go to settings Click Accounts in the left panel Click Other users Click Add account, Click I don't have this person's sign-in information Click Add a user without a Microsoft account .Enter the account details Click Next to create the local account. Once you have created a local account you can remove the Microsoft Account. Hope that helps.
@@realhackedgaming LoL I wish there was a better way to correct errors after upload. TH-cam pops up a little card that indicates the error but its not noticeable so no one sees it
I just received a Lenovo Windows 11 Pro laptop and your method does not work. Specifically non of the key combos CTRL F10, SHIFT F10 or CTRL SHIFT F10 bring up the CMD prompt. Any suggestions?
Try FN+SHIFT+F10 some laptops require that. To clarify, the method works but something in your system is preventing you from bringing up the command prompt. My first question would be Is this a brand new laptop and this is the first setup? I usually only see this for Windows S mode. You can also try disabling secure boot then start the setup and use the FN+SHIFT+F10 or SHIFT+F10
@@RayKnowsTech I bought this supposedly new laptop from Amazon seller Oydisen WOWPC. Lenovo says it was first sold in Pakistan so not exactly new. Also memory has been upgraded from4Gig to 32Gig and SSD upgraded from 256 to 1TB. Internet buzz is this seller is a scammer so now I have no confidence that this Laptop is legit or what's been done to it. Returning it. You know anything about this seller?

@@jmans093 Check and see if your model is running Windows S Mode. If its not in S Mode, did you try the ALT TAB? The window may be hidden
