Try FN+SHIFT+F10 some laptops require that. To clarify, the method works but something in your system is preventing you from bringing up the command prompt. My first question would be Is this a brand new laptop and this is the first setup? I usually only see this for Windows S mode. You can also try disabling secure boot then start the setup and use the FN+SHIFT+F10 or SHIFT+F10

@@RayKnowsTech I bought this supposedly new laptop from Amazon seller Oydisen WOWPC. Lenovo says it was first sold in Pakistan so not exactly new. Also memory has been upgraded from4Gig to 32Gig and SSD upgraded from 256 to 1TB. Internet buzz is this seller is a scammer so now I have no confidence that this Laptop is legit or what's been done to it. Returning it. You know anything about this seller?

Hi, You only need to boot from the USB drive if you are doing a clean install, by doing a clean install you will be removing windows 10, so you will not be using it. To do an upgrade from 10 to 11, you dont need to boot from the USB drive just follow the instructions in the video. Hope that helps.

Let me know how it works out for you. There are some really old CPU's that wont work no matter what due to a set of instructions that arent present in early 2000's processors.

Hi, for Remote desktop, yes you can connect to a mobile device and trouble shoot someone else's device. I may do a future video comparing a couple of remote options and will include this one. Google Meet and Voice don't require any kind of setup since they are web based. Check out their websites directly, there are some good tutorials available. I will add your request to my future project list. Thank you!

@johnd1561 Windows 11 requires a set of instructions called SSE 4.2 that modern processors manufactured after somewhere around 2006 contain.

@Berry_N I get a lot of Adobe ads on my videos. Its not coincidence lol. To your point on PDFGear, they have a page on their site stating why its free and they could potentially charge for advanced features in the future but have no current plans to do so. Its been in this free state for 3 years now so Im using it while I can. I disabled the Co-Pilot tool and disabled updates and its been great. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, I addressed this in the Pinned comment. These first few videos from when I started TH-cam were a learning curve. I no longer have the volume this high in my content but unfortunately you cant go back and adjust videos already uploaded. The only option is to delete them and start over, and doing that I would lose the metrics and engagement. I appreciate your support and this has been addressed in my more recent content. Thank you!

@GeorgyGoogle Hey! So they have completely changed Stirling since I created the video. Previously it was just a web portal for Windows users but now there an executable you have to download and run . So I did, and also got an error at 90% initializing. SO, I went to the developer's site and this is a bug reported this week, thought to be related to Anti-virus/Firewall in Windows as it does not affect everyone. I was able to download and run the "Test" release version and it runs fine. The developer has notes that states they will have a bug fix in the upcoming release this week or next. Thank you for pointing this out!

I wanted to comment on Proton- turns out you have to upgrade to gain anything other than what i already have via Brave and ghostery. eg BBC TV shows. ditto the email and drive so not the free lunch I would like. Will keep watching your shows to continue my illusion of a free lunch 🍲 😎
