These two together is perfect. Their genuine love for each other shines brightly from each of them.
That's the absolute best version of them together. After decades as friends you can see and feel the love and respect between them.
This whole concert - country music stars honoring Lionel Richie's great body of work - was phenomenal. And this impromptu duet at the end - pure magic.
I love that they were so close even when racial tensions were higher, both amazing MEN!!

It is nice to see two genuine legends not only get along on stage, but actually like each other. I've always liked Lionel Richie and as for Kenny Rogers...I never considered myself a fan. It wasn't until all his songs have been getting alot of airtime lately that I realized I liked a whole lot of his catalog of music.

I’m a country music fan. Big Kenny Rogers fan. I am also a big fan of Lionel Richie. To see the friendship these to men had is a breath of fresh air and also very touching. If not a tearful moment. Oh and if you’re a Lionel fan, he has guests on that whole album doing some of his biggest hits, it is people Lionel respected.
Definitely my very favorite Kenny Rogers song. The sentiments in the lyrics Lionel Richie wrote are the kind every woman would want to hear from the man in her life and his rendition was flawless.

There's a video of him helping Shania Twain get the confidence to sing again she'd lost her voice for many years due to lime disease and when getting it back after surgery and therapies and voice lessons and speech therapies wasn't feeling confident and he pursued her and they had such a sweet recording session, to do a duet with him Endless Love

This is when America was Great!! When we weren’t focused on race, but the character of a man/woman! Things weren’t perfect, but we were so much more united as Americans!! Things will never be perfect, but I sure do miss those days.. there was so much more love for one another and people didn’t get so easily offended! The race division started when Obama was President and went down hill from there!! A man I thought would make us stronger did the complete opposite! Just goes to show we can’t go by race, but again by a humans character!! May God bring our country back together!!
