You should! Lots of places to explore. I've barely scratched the surface. Keep in mind that lands south of Campbell River area mostly private timberlands and have convoluted access rules.
The waterfall is amazing! So beautiful. The new hammock rainfly is nice. I read the other comments and you mentioned the wind...I didn't think of that. Maybe a new sport...hammock para sailing??? 🤔 Thank you for your video's and taking us on your adventures. Have a blessed day!
I love the consistency with your videos, specifically when you acknowledge the areas you explore in the intro. I assume you use the hammock in the winters too? Great content.
- just stick your head in when the lettuce mist’ers kick in… and sprinkle some salt in your eyes - LOL - life of the island. 🤜🏼🤛🏽🤘🏼 - glad your enjoying the series. 👍🏼
Yeah, Sarlacc's Pit is a pretty cool discovery. Technically a cave, it will take some time for it to be explored given the limited access. There are so many things we are still discovering around the world. Devil's Bath is still considered the largest cenote in Canada at 44 metres (144 ft) deep and 359 metres (1,178 ft) circumference.... but who knows what we'll discover next. Even on the Island, they say, potentially there are many caves still to be found.
Looks nice, so much water! I liked some of the transitions you did in this one. Your new fly looks amazing and spacious. It almost makes we want to try going the hammock route. What is your instant coffee of choice on trips like this?
I went nostalgic with Nescafe - my Dad would have that when we would go out and get firewood. Brings back good memories. The rain fly is great for rain, but pretty big for wind. I have another one the same guy made, triangular but still bigger than stock one. Think I’m going to try that one with a bivi bag
Literally my thought while watching this: “I wonder what Chris Wilson has been doing”, lo and behold, there you are. Small world and thank you both for the inspirational and calming content.
How do you edit these videos? Are you doing the editing on the go ? Or is all the editing done after you are done the trip? Basically asking what software and or app are you using to make your videos.
I edit after I get back from trips. I’m not set up for mobile editing. And I have a day job, so even my trips are hard to make time for working within my limited vacation time. I edit with Devinci Resolve.
Your videos not only feature beautiful scenery but are presented in a highly engaging way. Thank you!
I'm glad you are enjoying them. Thank you very much!
This video has a really nice chilled vibe. It's a pleasure coming along with you.
You've very welcome. Glad you have you along.
Beautiful stretch, very peaceful and natural, you are the man.

After seeing all your videos I think iam going to need to explore more of the island when I get there this spring thanks for your great videos.

Loved the zoom effects with the drone. Wonderful ride, wonderful edit. Thank you

Thank you for your video's and taking us on your adventures.
Have a blessed day!
There was a few nights when I had stacks of bowling ball sized rocks on the corners, and on the stakes/pegs to keep things from flying away.
Very good videos, I hope you continue, greetings from the canary islands.
Thanks :) I'm glad you are enjoying them. ~ peace
what a insane sharing! my dear~=)
Thank you! Cheers! More insanity to come!
ahoj kamaráde, pěkné video, hezká příroda, zdravím z České republiky
Jsem rád, že vás znovu slyším. Jsem rád, že se ti videa líbí. Doufám, že se vám a vaší rodině tyto svátky daří. :)
Great video! Very well done.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Nice video. Thanx man!
Welcome! Glad you’re enjoying them 🤘🏼
Looked like a great ride, love that waterfall. Love that soup.
The soup was just what I needed. :)
Knorr Tomato Vegi - only 30 cals. Can't ride far on that!
It would be great of you decided to meet Ryan Van Duzer, one day, and ride together for an eppic trip (and make videos out of it, of course !)
Great video. My first Salty Beard experience but I will be visiting again for more enlightenment.
A little binge watching over the holidays 😉
Amazing video amigo Rob! Nicely done I can see your graphic designer skills 😉
Thank you very much Martha - glad you are enjoying 😊
great ride!!
Thanks!
It's always such a treat to ditch the gear and ride without it. Almost like riding a new, very twitchy bike!
Oh yeah…. Felt pretty nice 👍🏼
Beautifully filmed video!
Thank you very much.
It's crazy to me that you are exploring all this on a bike! When we went up there we had minimum 2 fully loaded vehicles full of gear ;) haha
I bet you stayed dry though - LOL
Fabulous ride Rob.. so peaceful and calm! Loved the waterfall.... I could have sat there all day! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed that ... just wait, rain is coming!
I love the consistency with your videos, specifically when you acknowledge the areas you explore in the intro. I assume you use the hammock in the winters too? Great content.
So far I haven't had the opportunity to hammock in the snow. But that could happen soon enough :) - thanks for the complements
So green!! I haven't seen that much color since my last visit to the produce department at my local market. Things are still very dry here in Colorado

Nice sinkhole! For largest in Canada, check out Sarlacc's Pit, in Wells Gray ;)

Ahh I see. Thanks for geology pointer :)

Devil likes to play pickup sticks in the bath, not a rubber duck in sight
Funny you say that, because one of the first things I thought of is what would that look like with no trees in it.... just a nice round body of water.
