I just purchased one. And like you said, I like the Tahoe exterior looking better, but there is something that made me go with this one. On the inside, this one is more comfortable, more features, and one thing that almost nobody mention. On the second and third row middle seat, this one have head rest. The rest of the full SUVs don’t. That’s a must have for me, my 7 years old daughter go in that seat and she already pass the height support on the back rest, so I definitely need that extra head rest. Thank you for your reviews!
Love our 2010 Expedition. It's been a good vehicle. Can't wait to upgrade once we graduate from med school and pay off our debt.😅 I honestly don't like the lines of the GM SUVs. The front of them are fine, but the back lines are frumpy and look huge! The previous gen was better looking, imo. I actually like the Jeep Wagoneer over the GMs. But the Ford is better looking than both.
I currently have a 2018 f150 (3.5) with a 5-star tune. I wanted to upgrade to a newer year. But, discovering this timberline, it is calling me. The I like how it looks, I love that it shares the Raptor motor, which I will probably tune again. Coming from the f150 the interior is familiar, I love my interior and space, having reclining seats for the kids is important to me. I'll probably get a truck again and pass this to the Mrs.
We’ve got an 03 ford expedition Eddie Bauer edition. It’s got 4H, 4L and 4auto. Put some falken wild peak AT/3 tires on her for some beach driving. The 5.4L v8 triton motor has started the rattle noise. I’ve been eyeballing the timberline edition for the family, so pricey though.
I've been a Ford guy for a few years and just got a Ford Expedition, and I like a lot of things about it, but it has issues. I shouldn't have any issues with a 60k vehicle within the first few years. My warantee took care of a few things, but it has been a hassle. However I think all new cars are worse than older equivalents. Too many computers.
To me, the Yukon Denali is the best looking full size SUV inside and outside. I feel the Expedition didn't get the necessary design effort to make it get rid of the more practical and plasticky interior it inherits from the F-150. The Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon are all so elegant and imposing that make the Expedition look like a toy. The tech on the Ford Expedition is amazing, the powertrain as well. It's just not appealing to my eye at all.
Just got a Sequoia TRD Pro!!! Perfect for our family, I appreciate fords tech but Jesus the look is so…….. blah 😑….. it’s just such a miss I wish they could do something different.

How's the ride comfort level on the normal on- road? From your video, it looks quite bumpy on the stock Goodyear Wrangler
