- hello again - I'm still vlogging (perhaps against better judgement?) in preparation for our big move to London. This week I'm taking Odie to the first of several vet appointments needed to get this boy overseas. We're gunna pause for a quick DIY craft bc my brain feels like soup. And then begin dismantling the apartment and getting rid of our furniture. Also I have thoughts.
Thanks for watching and following along on this journey. I don't know what I'm doing. Sending you love though.

oh no, so sad when pets get anxious, hope they are ok ❤❤❤
he’s a nervous little guy but pup cups help
Go Odie! Go Bri! You can do it!!!
The “what if’s” are always so anxiety inducing especially when it’s something so important. I really hope you hear back about the visa soon just so you know which way you need to move forward. I hate uncertainty, especially when I have to wait and wait on someone else’s decision.
I think selling everything is the right idea. I haven’t ever done a big move like this, but I have suddenly lost my home and had a time crunch to find a new and much smaller place. Some of my stuff I do miss, like my first edition first gen Pokémon cards that I couldn’t find in time. Or my high school diploma. But over all? Most of it I was able to mourn and just move on from. Most of those things? I don’t even think about now. I have new things. So I’m confident it’ll be the same for you eventually. You’ll have new things to love, new opportunities.
Good luck!
Thank youuu for the encouragement 🐛❤️. I probably make things worse by thinking of every worst case scenario but I can’t operate any other way.
Also I will never forgive my former self for not hanging onto my pokemon card binder from the 90s/2000s
Aw poor bb Odie, my Baxter boy is the same type of anxious mess when it's vet time. I hope y'all hear back on your visas soon!!
Damn didn’t know Odie was in Saving Private Ryan.
he doesn’t like to talk about it

I can understand how it is to travel overseas with dogs, I did it with two Yorkshire terriers from south Africa to France... it took me a year to sort out their certificates... but I did it and thankfully my yorkies got to travel in the cabin with me on air France, must say the airline was amazing . Apparently cargo hold is a bit scary for little dogs. They did have to stay in their carry cages but they were cool,as long as the could see me at all times. They slept most of the way and other passengers said they didnt know they were even there . Just take one day at a time stress wont help. You'll get there ....
Good luck 🐶
I’m really hoping he will sleep on the plane🤞🏻. I saw a post where an airline kicked someone off the plane bc their dog wouldn’t stop crying. And now I’m scared of that 😳
What airlines are you flying with ?
We took a meat chewy and if the dogs got restless we would hold the meat chewy and let them chew on it for a bit ,kept them quiet.. but once ur up flying theres nothing they can do ,so dont worry ok .. good luck
Thank you! We’re flying delta. Gunna keep my purse stocked with his favorite things to hopefully keep him quiet. But he’ll also be drugged up on anxiety meds lol
Odie is such a drama queen ❤❤❤ but I’m super happy he will be flying with you in the plane cabin not as a cargo! Regarding the house rental, is it common to rent directly from the owner of the property in USA? In Poland we very often rent from a private person and it makes everything so much easier (and cheaper).
I hope your anxiety will fade out, I can only imagine how much pressure you must feel having to deal with the move. But take it slowly and one step at a time, everything is less scary in smaller chunks (says the most anxious person ever 😅😅😅).
He has a lot of big feelings lol. We both do 😅. It’s a mix of both in the US, but I’ve always rented from an apartment complex/company…which is proving to be frustrating. We’re slowly working through the to-do list. I don’t think the anxiety will fade until we get settled over there 🤷🏻♀️
You're doing such a good job with everything! You are so valid in your feelings. It's really hard to get rid of stuff even when we try to rationalize that it's just stuff. Are you guys hoping to move in Jan or Feb?
Your dog is so cute. I have a chihuahua mix with dachshund in him. He is equally a crazy man. He loves pup cups but then thinks every Starbucks cup is for him 😂
Thank you for saying that 🥹. We go in January 😳 so the clock is ticking.
Odie thinks every drive thru should be the Starbucks experience and gets very upset if no treat is given
What is the largest pup cup available from the Starbucks closest to your gate? Gotta stock up for that flight
