Really the Challenger made you jaw drop? 70-71 are the big dawgs when it comes to Challengers. You can pick up 72-74/75 Challengers pretty cheap. What should have made your jaw drop is the 190.

Looks like the Challenger was a Rallye, it might have came from the factory with a 340.It would have been more valuable if the 340 was still in it, and it was all numbers matching, especially with the four speed. Looks like maybe a 383 in there now. I like how Richard calls it a '73 "Fo sure" then later calls it a 72, which it actually is. 73' had big rubber bumper guards. The Rallye dash and pistol grip four speed makes it desirable even though it isn't a '70 or '71.

I sure wouldn't say what I really got for it...but really, 5K. Would have been more realistic if you said 15-20k and that you put in 5-8k in restoration. Still love your show !!!!!

Check the oil. Won't tell you everything but it can give you an idea if coolant is getting in the oil or if the burn the oil or don't change it often
